Canadian Fighting Championship news history

Ran out of time to do an org properly, but to pass time I'm gonna do some grappling and possibly KT events if we have enough interest in it.

Everything we do will be open ID and at least starting out Openweight. If you want to grapple hit me up and we'll work something out.

No longer 390k ID, we're moving on up to 380k-389k and will be looking for all fighters who want a chance to be apart of one of the most legendary orgs this game has ever seen, weight classes we'll be starting off with will be 135,145,155,170,185,205,and 265.

We'll offer fights every 3 to 4 weeks depending on fighter development/skill and how much the manager wants to fight.

We don't hold grudges, you don't like me or my staff that doesn't matter to me, your fighter will always have a home.

If at anytime you're unhappy, just message me and we'll work on a buyout or just straight release you.

Our pay will be up there with some of the best. If you are ever unsatisfied just let me know and I'll fix it immediately. I also can pay directly to your manager account, whatever makes it easier for you.

Champions. I expect our Champs to fight anyone who's put in front of them, as long as it makes sense obviously. NO cherry picking allowed here.

Super fights. We love them and will work with anyone to get you the fight you want.

We have started a discord for all of the managers! We are hoping to further the immersion for everyone. A way for the managers to get to know each other and us to know you.

For the main event, Marco Bjurstrom, CFC veteran only beaten once by undisputed champion Dienekes in a bitter battle that pushed the latter to his limits, will face a newcomer to the middleweights category tomorrow evening: Wee Ning. Wee Ning's record is as impressive as it is diverse, and tomorrow night he'll be out to prove whether he can live up to the hype surrounding him.
In terms of style, Marco Bjurstrom will undoubtedly have the upper hand, although he'll have to be wary of Ning's Englishness. On the ground, Ning's game is more aggressive - but will he still manage to find a finish against a now BJJ Brown belt Marco?
This promises to be a tight and captivating bout!

The co-main event sees the return of former lightweight champion Paul Eclaro who, prior to his loss to Kaepernick, had defeated the crème de la crème of his category in an impressive series of victories. He will face Walter White, who seems to have the weapons to beat them on his feet, and those to stand up to him on the ground. On paper, White could win - except that he's already been finalized by Eclaro in their first meeting by submission...

Finally, in the co-main event, former title challenger Hammerstein will face the talented Allan Jr. in a bout where Hammerstein's wrestling could well make the difference.

Tonight's CFC 574 numbered event features a top-quality card!

In the main event, we'll be witnessing the writing of a decisive page for featherweights, notably due to the merger of this category with the lower weights. Thus, the four-time 145 lbs champion, George "The Barbarian ⚔" Hale, will face the three-time world champion of the former 135 lbs category, "The Runt of Outlaws" Jesse-James Hopson. The latter is extremely dominant, having never been beaten since signing with the CFC.
It's hard to predict the outcome.
On the one hand, Hale is a Muay Thai specialist who hits hard and has a dangerous clinch. On the other, Hopson will be looking to drag him to the ground and grind him down to a decision or submission.
The key to the match will lie in George Hale's ability to stay on his feet. If he's dragged to the ground, he'll have to find a way to get up quickly, or it could be a long night...
Hopson, for his part, will need to get his opponent to the ground quickly if he is to avoid taking too much damage.
Depending on the tactics of the fighters, it seems that the longer this fight goes on, the more Hopson's attrition will be favored. As a result, Hale will probably only have 2 rounds in which to render his opponent unconscious.
