Sherdog's own Walter Pinkman caught up with Karate Kid and discussed his promotional debut with
155 max sfc.
WP: Mr. Kid, according to pundits you seem to be the underdog heading into the title fight, what are your thoughts on this? (Fight preview here: http://www.mmatycoon.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=38327)
K.K.: Actually, to be honest, I was caught off guard and was bothered by the prediction, but I find it very rewarding to prove my critics wrong.
W.P.: Fair enough, I appreciate your honesty, the old cliches do get boring. It is not secret that your opponent's strength and fight plan revolve around clinching; what is your answer to that?

When the owner of Flocorp Gym in London decided to sell his gym two weeks ago and follow his dream no-one would have believed this was possible. The former gym owner sold his gym for the symbolic price of 1$ to one of his closest friends and packed his bags to move to the land of the rising sun.
In the 2 days after that he acquired a large sum of money by selling a few of his VIP appartments in the center of London. He also asked a few of his most loyal fighters move as and bought a house in Tokyo.
On Sunday morning november 24th he established his new dream, a fighting organisation for new players called the “Flocorp New Players Fight Club in Tokyo 230k+”
He began posting articles in forums, writing local gyms and even contacting people roaming the streets of Tokyo. When he managed to get over 50 fighters in the first two days after establishing the FNPFC he went looking for a f cont... |

Just a couple of days ago, manager Floris Maljers decided to start a mixed martial arts team. Though this is a new type of sports for Maljers he has earned his marks as a sportsmanager. After setting up a successful Football (soccer) team, an NBA Basketball team, a track and field team and a formula 1 team he does know how to make a sportsteam succesfull.
Whe asked for his plans, Maljers stated he wanted a huge fighter stall of at least 17 fighters, open a gym and possibly a fighter organisation later on. Considering first things will have to come first he is now learning about fighting strategies, how to train his fighters and what else is needed to become successful.
When we look at Maljers team so far he was able to secure his first 2 wins after three losses starting out. He ditched the talentless fighters who now work as helpers in his gym. He also attracted his first senior fighter helping the rookies with their techniques.
His financial grasp of the situation seems okay thanks to the help of several more seasoned managers, Maljers is now lucky to call his friends. According to Maljers he has one true mentor, Dark Soul, helping him with every gap in his knowledge. Maljers and Dark Soul are often seen together in one of Londons illustrious pubs discussing strategy during a heavy drinking session.
After walking along with Maljers for a full day, this reporter is sure he will be "one to watch" in the seasons to come. |

Chen's journeys eventually brought him to the land of Durotar, and his latest brew had a plethora of strange ingredients that he feared would be too hard to acquire. He almost lost hope for his recipe when he was met by Rexxar the travelling Beastmaster. Chen asked Rexxar to retrieve the ingredients for his brew - a barrel of Thunderwater, the egg of a thunder phoenix, and a sprig of thunderbloom.
Chen was overjoyed when Rexxar returned with the ingredients, and then mixed his special brew and offered some to Rexxar, who nearly toppled over from the shock of the volatile beverage! Then Rexxar asked if Chen was trying to kill him, probably in the rhetorical sense but possibly not.
Chen surmised that he would have to further examine the recipe, having completed one phase of his journey, Chen decided to pause his brewing and join Rexxar's adventure, so that he might better appreciate this beautiful, rugged land he had found himself in.[1]
Chen and company went on a secret mission to Theramore Island to help the horde find out why the humans were attacking them. They met with Jaina Proudmoore, who decided to help them out, after seeing what her father had done.[2] Chen helped Rexxar to defend Thrall and Durotar from Kul Tiras incursions. When the Horde was prepared they launched an attack that ended with the death of Grand Admiral Proudmoore.[3]
After the battle Chen spent some time in Durotar teaching the brewmaster ways to the mentor of Brewmaster Drohn before travelling on.[4] No one knows where he left afterwards, but several of his empty kegs have been found scattered throughout the Barrens.[5] Like the rest of his people, he has apparently maintained his independence, joining neither the Horde nor the Alliance. |

Welcome back to BEEF: Tree Of Life Radio Show where we have a special guest. Our super-heavyweight champion of the world is joining us now, Neo Kable,
Neo… How does it feel to have your name tied to that at such a young age in the sport? How long do you plan to enjoy this success?
Kable: It's a big surprise even to myself. I never expected to become EVO champion so quickly. I plan to just enjoy myself fighting in MMA. Win or lose, I will continue to fight until I either no longer enjoy it or can no longer continue due to injuries and age.
I don’t think anyone could expect the success you’ve had in such a short amount of time. Its good to hear someone plan to stay in the cage for so long as well. So, in my day job, I am a cable-guy. So I’ve always wondered, what inspired your parents to name you Neo Kable? The movie “Matrix”? Or Larry the cable guy? Also, where does the nickname the final boss come from?
Kable: I am simply Neo Kable. That is all you need to know. My nickname "The Final Boss" comes from video game boss battles. Typically the final boss is the hardest test and is the biggest badass. I am big and dangerous and scary, therefore I am The Final Boss. Imagine Mike Tyson in the Nintendo Punch-Out video game. Monstrous and very difficult to defeat.
Man Mike Tyson was very hard to beat on that game and I always forgot the level password to start off against him. Anyway, Less than 3 minutes... That’s how long it took cont... |
