Event Preview: USFC 1
United States Fighting Championship
2014-11-27, New York, Wild Bob's Bar - New York
Author:David Morrison

Hello, fight fans! David Morrison with a preview of "USFC 1," the debut event from the fastest growing promotion in the Tycoon world, the United States Fighting Championship! Excitement is in the air for this one as #1 ranked Javier Martinez lays it all on the line against #5 Marcus Maclemore in the 205 pound headliner! Plenty of action for MMA fans in this one as the card is stacked with great match ups! Let’s take a look at the preliminaries:

1st Preliminary Card Fight
Ivan ElTerrible (0-2) vs. Tony Stones (1-3), 265lbs:
An exciting fight begins USFC's history as heavyweight Ivan "Grozny" ElTerrible pits his solid Muay Thai against 23 year old Tony "Rock" Stones' superior BJJ. Both men are accustomed to the finish as only one of their combined fights has made it to the judges. Each prefers to clinch up and work for takedowns, and it will be interesting to see if ElTerrible will be

TTFC Invades Los Angeles

Event Preview: TTFC Invades Los Angeles 2
Team Thomas Fight Club
2014-11-22, Los Angeles, LA Memorial Colossuseum
Author:King Scooby

“Here we are at The MMA General Live. I’m your host General Tso breaking down the Top event in the MMA Tycoon universe this Saturday night, TTFC invades Los Angeles II.” This will be one of the most anticipated events of the year, hopefully a ton of yearly awards will be earned right here in LA Saturday.

In Our Prelims which can be seen on MMA General Network will bless us with the excitement that you would normally get from a main card.

In our first fight, we have the 33 year old Tom Huddlestone taking on The Cowboy Jon Monroe. Both fighters are trying to find some solid ground to stand on after sliding on a slippery slope from their last few fights. Merely identical skillsets are present within these two fighters, I expect this to be nothing short of a Kickboxing match where both fighters have solid knockout power but Jon Monroe seems to have shown a slightly better chin.  I am predicting Jon Monroe t

The RocknRolla

Fighter profile of The RocknRolla by Bjorn O'Donnel

The RocknRolla (251668)

In the streets of Moscow, there is nothing given. TheRocknRolla is well aware of that and has worked for everything he’s had. At the young age of 19, he has compiled a 4-0 MMA record in the Immortals fight organization. At 6’6 and nearly 275 pounds, TheRocknRolla is hard to miss with his huge frame and the constant smile that never seems to leave his face outside of the octagon. Why the constant smile? According to the man himself, why not? He’s been quoted as saying everything from here on out is about advancing his career and soaking in the moments.

Life wasn’t always this e

NYFN 20 : Rynn vs Beast PREVIEW

Event Preview: NYFN 20 : Rynn vs Beast
NY Fight Nights
2014-11-22, New York, Hard Knocks - New York
Author:Bjorn O'Donnel

NY Fight Nights is proud to present you  NYFN 20 : Rynn vs Beast. This event is going to be best ever held by the org. Both the co-main and main event are fights for a title and all the other fights will be excellent also.

Kurt Lockheart (8-7) vs Lucas Pierce (7-3)
The opening bout consists of two fighters who have had sustained success in their MMA careers. Pierce owns five wins by knockout and his opponent, Kurt Lockheart owns seven wins by submission. This one is a very clear cut fight. Pierce has the advantage on the feet, but he isn’t quite the wrestler that Lockheart is or the BJJ practitioner. Two of his three career losses have come by submission, so you know that Pierce wants to keep the fight standing at all costs. One of the more interesting side notes could be the conditioning of Lockheart. He’s had a tendency to tire in fights and to cut a lot of weight. It’ll be interesting to see where the energy level is for the bigger Lockheart.
PREDICTION: PIERCE BY KO

TNTF Round 6 Preview!

Event Preview: Troids Next Top Fighter! R6

2014-11-19, London, Hayashi's Lounge - London
Author:Grant Brophy

Hello everyone, and welcome to our next round of fights in the TNTF tournament! We have had a 5 week break, but now all the fighters are back and will be raring to go. We have a few new faces in the tournament, so it will be interesting to see if any of them can make a step forward in this round. Analysis of the fights was provided by Mickey Goldmill!

Yuri “Nuclear” Boshtok (4-0) vs Jimmy “Popeye” Doyle (2-2)

Finishing off the event, Yuri "Nuclear" Boshtok will look to improve to 5-0. The Ukrainian born wrestler has finished his last four fights by TKO. At 19 years old, he has shown already shown off considerable KO power to go with his advanced wrestling. His opponent Jimmy Doyle is currently riding a 2 fight win streak after being knocked out in his first two professional fights. Doyle is a very advanced 19 year old skill wise. He seems to have it all except for his boxing, including a solid BJJ base, as evidenced by his last two submission victories.

Prediction: Doyle by Submission

Hey everyone, and welcome to another top Troid event. Preview for this event has been provided by Mickey Goldmill, so I hope you all enjoy his work!

Billy Balls (2-2) vs Nate Lamb (3-4)

In a battle of two bantamweights looking to stay relevant, we have a rematch of two fighters that are primarily strikers. In the last contest, only one takedown was attempted in the 15 minute affair. Billy Balls is a solid point boxer who has great technique, but doesn’t quite have the knockout power you’d expect from someone so technically sound. Balls struggled in the first fight, only landing around 20% of his punches. Nate Lamb’s standup was also rendered useless, but he was able to take the fight into the clinch multiple times. Once there, Lamb unloaded on his opponent with vicious knees and elbows that won him the fight. In the rematch, the question is can Balls keep the fight at a distance to neutralize the great clinch game of Lamb.
