Divock "Belgian Beast" Origi
My management team has always adviced me to stay under the spotlight and try not to shine bright in it. So far, I have been not so vocal and only wished my opponents good luck in the past and that was it. Well, times are changing. When I was a kid, I played soccer outside, but nowadays, kids seem to be attracted by some sort of electric piece of fruit. I heard that you can even take picture with it from yourself, so sort of like a camera, but then a piece of fruit.
Technology really seems to have improved leaps and bounds if they can do stuff like that now. Aah well, derailing a bit now I guess.
I'm going to try and give you guys a good idea of how I grew up and what it took for me to get at the point in my career that I'm at now. Some stuff of my past might be pretty hard and not so much fun, but it comes from the heart.
As some of you might know, Belgium isn't exactly Ibiza, so when my parents were fed up with all the bad weather, they went on holiday to England. Yeah, I know, that's the place to be for good weather right...!?! I could tell you now that they got lucky and that the sun was shining, but no, they weren't. After having visited pretty much every museum and ancient building in Liverpool, my dad felt his third leg sending him messages. Little Jan as he cold it, was standing at full attention and was ready to go. It was already dark outside and they were only 3 minutes away from the famous Anfield stadium. They ran to the stadium, jumped over the fence and did their business in the middle of the field.
Yes, that was 6 months before mom gave birth to me. Yes, 6 months, not 9. Doctors don't know if it was the cold weather cont...

The ROV Featherweight contender Micheal Alvarez (6-3) has just stepped up in his BJJ game and earned his Blue Belt. He has competed in a local No-Gi tournament this weekend and won the 1st place in both 60kg and 64kg categories. After this, he was awarded his belt by Nicky Zimmerman, his BJJ coach at Iron Fight Team.
"I feel that this is a great step-up in my competition, in my opinion I've got good skills on every other aspect of the game, but on the ground, I was completely useless, until I met Zimmerman. It is often said that I'm the best kicker in the division, and in the clinch, I've got some technical elbow strikes, so I'm dangerous both on the outside and on the inside while in standup. My division is filled with grapplers, so I have to evolve in order to keep up with them. Zimmerman helps me do that with my ground game, which has definetly gone better and will go even better soon." - says Alvarez.
"Alvarez is a very mature and intelligent fighter. He calculates every singl cont...

Someone once famously said " Jon Bones Jones the reencarnation of Jesus Crist.........." for me, personaly, in MMA he is close to that....i mean he had, rightfully,to be striped of hes belt, no man alive can beat him i truly belive on that.
But the UFC 205 division, the strongest in my opinion, know who the real CHAMP is,
And deep inside we all know that even if you dont simpatyse with the guy.
It happend before in hes career, when he "lost" hes first fight ,again due to, rightfull, disqualification he came back stronger and became the youngest UFC Champion ever....

If the word quit is part of your vocabulary, then the word finish is likely not.

Two title fights baby. What promised to be a great card delivered. A sold out arena of 7708 got to watch this dandy. Along with the two title matches there was a slew of other great fights that turned out to be very entertaining. The event had a rating of 202.77. KO of the night went to Bobby Turner, submission of the night went to Jonas Diaz, and Fight of the night went to Dutch Schultz vs Frank Underwood. Jonas Diaz was on the preliminary card; since I don’t review those ones, make sure to check out his fight to see how he sank that submission in. Four of the main card fights turned out to be pretty long so if you don’t feel like going through all of those (which would be a travesty since they were all so good) then utilize these Stremphfy reviews that I have written here!
