We’re back! Our second event of the week will see Chris Karter defend his featherweight belt against yet another Brazilian in Augusto Azevedo. Plus, we’ll see the return of KOTB’s first middleweight champion, as well as a pair of important fights in our lightweight division.

Sven "Sharky" Kowalski (3-2, 0-0) v Ozamataz Buckshank (1-0, 1-0)

Opening up the main card will be a middleweight showcase between Sven Kowalski and Ozamataz Buckshank. Bethnal Green, England’s Buckshank will look to take out another German fighter, after destroying Toni Kroos in his professional debut at KOTB CS3. Kowalski will be looking to avenge his countryman in his first fight in Rio, after beginning his career in Amsterdam and New York. Kowalski has the experience advantage and a classic sprawl-and-brawl style, while Buckshank is a little more of an unknown but has shown deadly hands and good athlet

Chris Karter Interview (KOTB)

Fighter profile of Chris Karter by

Hey Chris, thanks for joining us between sessions at Team Alpha Male in New York, how are things going up there?

Yes, New York suits me fine. I'm training with guys like Camacho and Atunes, you know, world-class operators so it's awesome. I miss the Florida weather though, but fighting is my job my life and Team Alpha is an awesome camp.

You’re KOTB’s first and only featherweight champion, with this being your second defense. Are you confident you can hold onto the title? What’s your long-term future here at KOTB?

Hey, who knows, I hit hard, these guys can't take my power but it's hard facing these ground guys going for submissions. It's like I'm in the shit every time I get taken down. I take each real serious and just want to stay champ.

This is the fourth straight Brazilian you’ve faced down here in Rio, three of w

Eraser Head

Fighter profile of Eraser Head by Dominicus Domingo

I was in psychward when Headcase Da Rula (Comte) met me, I was undergoing ECT  and had lost a lot of my memory.  Comte was there throughout the whole thing watching my brain cells fry and one day he came in with a hammer and knocked out one of the people in the medical staff, there was blood everywhere, I was erect. He had told me that the Fighter's Guild of the United Kindom had sent him to the hospital to visit me and to make sure I didn't die from the experimental clinical trial which I was undergoing, and please understand how grateful I am. Well, he's allowed me to train in his new private gym and I've been working on getting my cardio back up since I've been asleep for so long and he told me I wont need to train my strength for a while because apparently I have massive KO power, I never would have kno

Augusto Azevedo Interview (KOTB)

Fighter profile of Augusto Azevedo by

Hey Augusto, thanks for coming into the office. How’s training going at A Hero’s Academy?

Thanks for the invitation, sir. It’s a pleasure to be here. I only recently joined A Hero's Journey: MMA Academy in Rio and things have been going really well.  My training has been tailored towards improving my physical skills and sharpening my ‘Jungle Jiu Jitsu,’ so I should be more than ready come fight night. I must thank the owner Cheech Hertzog for being gracious enough to welcome me into the fold and teaching me the correct way to mop a floor *laughs*

You’ve been with KOTB your entire career, are you happy to be fighting so close to home?

SLAUGHTERHOUSE 6 REVIEW

UNDERCARD

Robert McCall v Ryo Narushima – 205 lbs

What had been billed as a close fight turned into a dominant performance by Ryo Narushima. Within 30 seconds of the opening bell Narushima took his opponent into the clinch and devastated him with a series of knees to the body and face, setting the tone for the duration of the fight. McCall did little to attempt to break the clinch and a result rapidly found himself treading in deep water. Rounds two and three continued much in the

That's 1000 more seats for the fans to come watch an amazing night of fights. And I'm Jay, and here with me is Ray, my father. And, he is going to start us off with the opening fight on the undercard. Pops.

Ray: Hey everybody, Ray here, let take a closer look at tonight's fights. Start of the undercard with a middleweight match up between Samuel Nasma and The "185" er. This is gonna be a great fight, what a way to start the night off. Both of these guys have something to prove. Don't let their records fool you, they both have bright futures ahead of them. Although Nasma will be going all out, trying to get that first win, I think Er is due. And, he has the skill to take this fight. Er by decision.
Jay: You know what pops? The Er has had several chances to prove himself but apparently Er is not what som
