Few parents ever hope to hear news that their kids are apart of any obscure profession. They tend to hope that their kids can become doctors or construction workers or pretty much anything that isn’t a stripper.
That was the path that Benjamin “The Way” Tay went down for awhile.
Born in Dublin, Ireland, Benjamin is the youngest of 5 siblings, the rest being girls. His parents are brazilian jiu-jitsu coaches who began teaching him when he on his 6th birthday.
At the age of 9, they left Ireland for Helsinki, Finland to open a bjj school, however, it went out of buisness only a year later.
For the next 12 years Tay and his family would do odd jobs in order to support themselves, this included Ben going into the stripper profession at the age of 18.
“It was awkward and uncomfortable,” said Tay, “but it helped put food on the table and I didn’t want any of my sisters to be treated badly by a bunch of drunk hooligans.”
Shortly after his 22 birthday, Tay was dared by one of his friends to participate in a QFC bout. “I thought t cont...

It has been a pretty good weekend for GAMMA.............come to think of it, there have been quite a few pretty good weekends recently :-)
The past weekend, GAMMA surpassed what used to be UVT (which has recently re-branded) to become the 2nd placed org in total events held, we are at 572 at the moment. The 4th on the list has held almost 100 events less with 474 events in total.
We broke a few other records as well. Last week was the first time we had 4 fighters in the top 10 when Matt Quin, Joe Jordan, Fabian Hoi and Oscar Boma (He has since dropped out of the top 10) were all listed in the top 10. That is currently ranking us #1 in the game in that category.
We are also joint seco cont... |

Drama before Casino Fight Nights
Two upcoming stars Derrick King, and Santana Blaze are set too fight in the main event of Casino Fight Nights for the 145lb title. All seems at ease between the opponents, but Derrick has done something gruesome to Santana. Eye witnesses has reported late tonight, that Derrick King visited Santana Blaze. Thinking nothing about it, Santana then let Derrick inside, without any questions. From here on out, all we know is that Derrick had an hidden knife, under his shirt. Which he used to stab Santana three times in the chest. We have spoken to Kid Kulafu, Santana’s training partner about the event.
Q1: Kid do u know anymore about what happened tonight?
Well, I woke up late tonight, because I had a rough time sleeping. So i headed down to the downstairs kitchen to grave some water. Then I saw it………… Derrick was behind Santana, and out of know where pulled an knife. He went for the back, with three quick stabbings. I yelled, but it was too late, and Santana was on the floor bleeding.
Q2: What caused this?
I have no idea, I heard of no beef, and Derrick seemed to have taken the loss pretty well actually. So this attack was very surprising, expertly too Santana.
Thank you Kid for your words.
We have reports saying that Derrick may have been charged with assault with an deadly weapon, and intention to murder. His court hearings are on Friday in Las Vegas. Santana Blaze, is in critical condition, but he will cont... |

Q: Dear martial arts fans, today I will pay a visit to the one of the best mixed martial artists in the middleweight division and the current number two pound for pound fighter in the world, Matt Quin. He's found a home in the world-renowned Global Association of MMA, or GAMMA in short.
Only 28 years old, he may have started his career in GAMMA on low note, getting finished in his promotional debut, but he came back with a vengeance. Like a phoenix he has risen from the ashes and is now fresh off his first defense of the GAMMA middleweight title. Now Matt, after winning the title from former champion Viv Richards you actually went to EVO to face their middleweight champion in a super fight. What is your take on that fight?
Matt: Rock cont... |

"Derka Derka" Mohammed Jihad (205495)
Jihad became the 1st ever LKO champion a landmark achievement for him and for us .Hes competing in the most competitive division in the organization.Winning all of hes 3 fights with us it seems like the old man finally found a place to call home.
He's a world class grappler with lethal high kicks a perfect combination, my question is , who was guiding him throughout his career?....
someone very incompetent for sure ,because it is clear to everyone that he is a very good fighter and he should have had at least some title fights under hes belt ,not to say that he should have been a champion for long time....It will not be easy to hold to that belt ,with very tough contenders queuing up to have a go at the champion...at this moment in time he holds the record for most fights and most wins in the organization...
We manage to catch up with this crazy old Egyptian and he had this to say:
