Chief Tappenahomma: Olympic Destiny?

Fighter profile of Chief Tappenahomma by G Wad

Chief never dreamt big. Where he comes from dreams mean hope and hope is a dangerous thing. Hope can crush. Hope can destroy one’s soul. No, that was never an option for Chief.

As a man of few words, I have to say I was surprised when I got the call to interview this champion.

They say fame and fortune corrupt the soul. I say possibly and if anything this interview was to put that theory to the test. My mind raced as the Ford Taurus kicked dust in the air in the rode up the driveway to meet the man.

I was accustomed to the opulence of New York penthouses and mansions of Beverly Hills, this no-name corner of the Choctaw reservation in Oklahoma was a change – a not altogether welcome one.

The biggest names in the game run in style, they live life fast. That is something I know and understand. This – this was a n

At Wild Bob's Bar - London

Undercard:

Justin Duponte vs Regin Atkins - 135 lbs
Kicking off the event we have a match in the 135 lb division. Duponte is a wonderful boxer that lost his MMA debut in a quick fight, then signed with Honour and went on to win his next 3 fights by KO. He has since lost his last two fights, and is looking to rebound here against Regin Atkins. Atkins is less skilled in boxing, but still at a proficient level. He has struggled to gain any footing in the MMA game with only 1 win in 5 fights. If I had to come up with a reason he is struggling, it would be because he is over 7 foot tall, and can't even push a scale to 140 lbs. A ridiculous build like that might be better suited to hanging drywall or Christmas lights. If this plays out like it looks on paper it will

GAMMA: Announces Speed Fighting!

Global Association of MMA, Fight Organization, London
Company profile by Mentor Guru Corleone

Essentially the idea is simple, you will get to fight every week. The advantage of this is to build up your hype and rank quickly and move up to GAMMA if you have what it takes.

The way the league will work is:

-We will have 2 official divisions, 155 for lower weight classes and 1 for 205/185/170 fighters (officially we will use the 265lbs division for this, but 205lbs will be the weight limit)
Note: In the future we could introduce a 265lbs division
-Each division will have 20 active fighters max.
-Fighters in the league will have a contra

GAMMA: Gossip#55

Global Association of MMA, Fight Organization, London
Company profile by Mentor Guru Corleone

I know it is getting repetitive, but this was yet another of those months where GAMMA continued their slow steady expansion. The stats mentioned below were taken at the end of last month (i usually record them from the 28th to the 30th of any given month).

We managed to increase our total top 1000 fighter to 94 + 24 in our affiliates, that is a total of 118 (+4 since last month). Our total top 200 fighters stayed at 30 (up by 2) which is also a record. Total fighters in the top 100 increased to 14 (was 13).

145lbs Division

Lukasz Wolek retains his title again month, ending the streak of Bart Bunga.

Lukasz will go up against Shin Dong Hyuk (223756) in his next one, a fighter he has already beaten and will hope to repeat.

155lbs Division

Fernando Prado (181926) dropped his title to Robin "Rockin" Yount (257101) after holding a 6 fight winning streak.

This makes Robin the youngest

CAGED RAGE REVIEW

OMEGA FIGHTING, Fight Organization, New York
Company profile by Justin Ass

 OMEGA FIGHTING

CAGED RAGE RESULTS   Omega Fighting invaded New York’s Hard Knocks Arena this past Sunday for it’s biggest event to date  CAGED RAGE.  The Event featured 3 championship fights including the lightweight championship main event, where current champ Morrison Lee defended his 155 pound strap from current featherweight kingpin Ahsan Hamed.

In the co-main event, also scheduled for five rounds, the vacant welterweight title was on the line in which Number One contender Russell Northrop and  BJJ specialist Patrick Cleary battled to claim the vacant crown. In addition Omega’s heavyweight champ Kimbo Slice and the Mayan Predator Quetzall Montezuma, both of who are heavy hitters stepped into the cage and let it all hang out. Oh and lets not forget there were 7 other great fights scheduled as well as they all battle for the prize of the Omega Cup, so without further delay, see below for the results and highlights of Omega Fighting  Caged Rage.

Morrison Lee vs. Ahsan Hamed

It was billed Champ vs. Champ. Morrison Lee the lightweight champion vs. featherweight champion Ashan Hamed for the 155 pound title only, both fighter’s in great shape came to the cage with a mission and here we go  ROUND ONE..  Lee land an overhand right and connects with a  nice shot to the body. Hamed slipping the jab and catches Lee with a cross right on the jaw.  Nice leg kick from Lee land on the calf of Hamed. Strong leg ki

Annihilation! Is Here

Annihilation! Fighting Championship (300k+), Fight Organization, New York
Company profile by Jimmy Love

Ok fight fans Annihilation! is here! Kicking off our first event AFC1: Annihilation! Begins. We have a packed card for a fun and blood fueled night of fighting at O'Malleys Bar in New York. Some good fighters on show tonight all leading up to our main event

Anthony Marveux Vs Aiman Luqman. So lets take a look at what we havein store.

In our main event we have Anthony "The Maverick" Marveux,a fighter who is 3-1 in his pro mma career. Formerly fighting with Total Destruction in Helsinki he's now stepped it up to the bright lights of New York. 5120 A brown belt in BJJ and all 3 wins coming by submission in the first round mean we should be in for some ground fun in this one especially seeing as he's up against the wrestling skills of Luqman. He did get stopped in his last fight though so lets see how he bounces back from that loss.

Aiman "The Tiger" Luqman is 1-0 so certainly not as experienced but this guy is determined! He has excellent wrestling skills but knocked out his opponent on his debut with a devastating head kick so he can certainly mix it up.
