“Mikael”
Part 2 of a 5 part special
We resume the documentary where Mikael has just come back from a training trip in Thailand, and we are waiting to greet him at the airport.
This is the first time you see our documentarist, world-renowned Eugene Jarecki, on the camera as he goes has a sit down with Mikael for the first time. All following entries will be written from his first person perspective.
EJ: So Mikael, last time I saw you was at the end of the TUF tournament, which didn’t end how you had hoped, but you were upbeat about the future. Can you tell us what you have done since that night?
MB: It was a tough loss, especially considering many people were hoping on me to win the bout, but you can’t allow losses to hold you back in your career. If I had spent the time being mad and annoyed about it, I would simply be letting time cont...

Syn 531 - Incendiary Preview Prepared by Mason Ashcroft "He got arm under his chin! How long can he stay in it…He’s out!”
But in order to do so, you need power. Power not only to survive – but the power necessary to stand on top. Alone. And Strong.
Welcome to reality. Welcome in our world. Welcome, to Syn-City.
155 lbs Jack Douglas v Don Juan Matus
This time we start low. But not in terms of skills or excitement. Synchrocity 531’s main card will start with a Lightweight action. Former #1 Lightweight in the world and EVOLUTION title contender Jack Douglas will make his return into the cage in order to face former SynCity Featherweight champion, Don Juan Matus. Returning to his element, “War Master” will look to erase bad memories of his last fight and unsuccessful attempt to become EVO World Champion. In order to do so, he will have to go through another fighter who recently couldn’t achieve same goal.
Matus is seeking another shot after putting Lil Vayne to test in their Title fight, which ended in a draw. Both were one step away from becoming new champion, yet neither was able to seal the deal. Even though Don Juan lacks destroying power that Douglas possesses, it’s a known fact that cont... |

GAMMA#638 Wolek v Junior 2 – June 3
265 title - Gunnar Steigelmann (c) Vs Zeus Leonidas
The first time these two giants collided, the super heavyweight title was on the line and they didn’t pull their punches as they went in guns blazing. Their first encounter was an amazing war that tested both fighters in more ways than one. Leonidas surprised not just the champion Steigelmann but also the thousands of fans in attendance and the millions watching at home, when he not only stood toe to toe with Steigelmann but actually outworked him in two rounds with his lightning-fast strikes combined with some powerful takedowns that kept Steigelmann from getting something going. Steigelmann on the other hand did what he is known for: throwing bombs. He was throwing sledgehammers with reckless abandon and then some. A bloody mess that was once known as Zeus Leonidas was left behind on the mat after Steigelmann finally managed to finish the durable Greek in the fifth and final round.
Now the rematch was set, Gunnar Steigelmann was to defend his heavyweight title after a superfight in a rivaling organi cont... |

RFL 31 Preview: the real main-event !
Sergej Valentinovich vs Rock Gracie
For some unknown reason, the owner of RFL has forgotten to set the real main event on top of the fight card.
I guess that means that the fans will already get a guaranteed amazing showdown then in the 4th fight of the evening, not a bad strategy actually.
Experts have been breaking their heads over this fight for a long time and the odd makers think that it will almost certainly end as a draw + fight of the night.
Some say that Origi vs Defoe is the clear-cut contender for FOTY so far, but this one might top it all.
