Massive rumour ROCKS Syn and Combate fans - Are Olsen and Blank the same person?

In a situation that sounds too ridiculous to be true, there have been recent rumours circulating that the sudden rise of Billy Blank from relative obscurity right into the limelight of Combate champion and #2 HW in the world has been down to the fact that he's actually the secret alter-ego of top HW and current Syn contender, Kjetil Olsen.

While the Tycoon Times notes there are no current formal charges being laid, the circumstantial evidence to support this rumour is mounting. For a notable while, astute observers have noted that 'both' fighters share exactly the same imposing height of 225cm and are also billed at the same a

Pride of Toronto ready to shock the world

Fighter profile of Darrell Newsome by Chris Karter

Canada's Darrell Newsome (12-3-0) vows to "pop a cherry" verse RISE welterweight champion Tagnarach Kamara (13-0) when they face off at RISE 160.

Newsome is a knockout artist hailing from Toronto and trains at the Canadian Elite Bruins Gym in Montreal. He is set to faceoff against the reigning champion but told the Tycoon Times that he's more than ready for the challenge.
"For the first time in my life I'm taking my career seriously, " Newsome said. "I'm with an elite manager, training at an elite gym, and I'm blessed to get to hurt people for money. I know (Kamara) is a tough opponent, but I promise you I'm gonna pop his cherry. He can't take a shot like I can."
Newsome's game has vastly improved since his time with Bradley Burns, and he's put together an impressive 3-fight win streak with his biggest victory, or at least his flashiest, coming by way of Spinning Backfist Knockout back at RISE 123 in the Camden Conference Centre in London.

Speaking to Miss Miracle and the Tycoon Times, Kahn spoke about past sparring sessions with the Combate light heavyweight champion when they were amateurs. Kahn claimed that he won a lot of rounds against Taneyev, submitted the former champ “many times,” and “beat him many times.” On Thursday, Taneyev responded on his Instagram stories.

“Which person needs to speak, again and again, about this 16-year-old information? Gym insider information,” Taneyev said. “When we will meet next time in a cage, I will show you my true power. I will not take it lightly no more. Don’t speak about others too much. Hate yourself less. You will sleep soon.”

Later on, Kahn responded on his own IG stories, showing

Double Standards at SYN

Profile of Cynic Chris by Chris Karter

Chris Meat attended last weekend’s SYN 969 to corner his buddy Ryoto Takahashi, but the Convicted Inc manager has revealed that he was banned from all other activities during fight week.
The main card of SYN 969 saw Ryoto Takahashi TKO Darsin Bleak, and immediately following the fight Dana Black declared that Takahashi would be the next challenger for the SYN Lightweight title. That announcement has been widely criticized throughout the MMA community, but “War Marchine's” manager Chris Karter, has dominated recent headlines following an interview where he threatened SYN matchmaker K-Stacks if the fight doesn't get made.
The #1 manager's comments have drawn heated reactions from other fighters on the SYN roster, and during a recent interview Miss Miracle asked Meat if he expected Karter to receive any sort of disciplinary action for his statements.
“No, I don’t. I don’t," Meat answered. "I think it’s a very case-by-case basis within

Company profile by Antonio Maximus

Opening their doors just one week ago Silverback Sweatshop has made their indelible stamp on L.A.’s fashion scene. “Can’t find better deals on top brand clothing anywhere else” – says one local fighter, and another fighter was over heard saying – “If you’re an elite grappler you get your gear from here.”

One could say Opening Day at Silverback Sweatshop was a stunning success, even beyond owner Antonio Maximus’s expectation.

With innovative new designs you can’t get elsewhere it is no wonder fighters have been lining up to get their clothing here. A staff member mentioned – “It’s hard to keep the shelves stocked... some items sellout the same day we get them in.”

We asked the owner what’s his secret for being able to offer such coteri

Valentin Taneyev on C172 loss to Randy Randleman: ‘I made a lot of stupid decisions’

After defending his title against "Hands of Shiva" Mantak Garuda (41-14-1) at C169, Taneyev fought Randy Randleman (32-11-0) in a super fight at C172, but came away from it disappointed in his performance.   Taneyev faced SYN Light Heavyweight champion Randy Randleman in the main event of C172, losing by way of technical knockout in the 5th round. The bout was widely lauded by the MMA community for the excitement it delivered and ended up earning Fight of the Night honors, but for Taneyev, it was a tough pill to swallow because he believes he didn’t perform well.   “I made bulls*** fight.
