Randy: “We’re back with another edition of Evolution’s count-down previews as we get ready for Evolution 22 ‘Power vs. Otso 2’ which comes to you live on Wednesday September 18th, 2013 from the LA Memorial Collosuseum. We didn’t get the chance to preview Evolution 21 but let’s briefly go over that card. The main-card kicked off a welter-weight fight between Guru Majja and Angelito Barraquinha and it was a good striking match. The fight stayed on the feet the entire 3 rounds with Barraquinha trying to clinch but Guru wasn’t having it. Guru walked away with the close 29-28 unanimous decision. Next up was Chuck Liddell against Marko Torturo in a fight in the 205lbs division and this was another terrific striking match but Liddell constantly got the better of the exchanges and won it 30-27. The 3rd fight on the main-card was a fight in the light-weight division when Dick Dingleberry fought Vladimir Solovyev in a terrific back and forth battle. Solovyev was clearly the aggressor on the feet and was getting the better of Dingleberry standing, but Dingleberry landed 6 takedowns in the fight and that ultimately helped him win the split decision. The co-main event was a great match-up at cont...

MAIN CARD
Main Event
Welterweight #1 Contender Fight
#2 Alastair Gridlock (8-4, 5-1 NGF) v #1 Artur Ross (12-3 NGF)
This is a huge fight, this is a fight if you are a fight fan, you stop what you’re doing, you get out of the plans you might have and you get somewhere to watch this. Alastair Gridlock and Artur Ross will be battling to see who will go on to get the next title fight. Gridlock is landing 78% of his stand up head punches, 58% of his body punches and 65% of his leg kicks, he knows how to land strikes and he has good finishing power. His defense overall is excellent, some of the best in the entire division, but sometimes he can get taken down and lose rounds. He will fight in the clinch and he’s mostly a dirty boxer there, but his clinch defense is good. Artur Ross is quite, but his actions speak louder than words. He is a very smart fighter, he will adapt his game well and take what his opponents give him, but capitalize on mistakes. cont... |

Reporter: Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen, What did you think? Did you expect the win or was it luck?
Fat Meat: I defiantly went in the fight with the mentality that I would walk away as the new champion.
Reporter: I noticed that the fight took up the whole match time, couldn't you land that Knock Out?
Fat Meat: My opponents chin was untested prior to the fight and I defiantly think I put it to the test landing all the shots I did. I really wanted the KO'ed but the guy had one hell of a chin. In my 10 victories, hes the onl cont... |

6. - Jolon Williams
Some of you may remember last year's issue (*a few months ago) where we named Mr. Williams as the number 49th ranked manager in the world, and a potential up and comer into the big leagues. Well, it appears Mr. Williams has been incredibly busy since then, and we were not mistaken! This year, MMA Universal is proud to announce that Mr. Williams has been chosen as our pick for 6th ranked manager in the business today. Now, a little while after our article was presented to the public, Mr. Williams declared that he would be upping the level of his stable, and trimming any of the loose fat holding his team back. As such, some of the faces you recognised from before may not be present, but on the bright side, that means there's yet another generation being trained beneath this bright young manager's wing. But this is not all Mr. Williams has been cont... |

Hello everybody. My name is Daniel Ocean. You may know me for my work as the BFT Reviewer, as well as the occasional preview, Hall of Fame announcements, or other little odd jobs. We all come here to see how our fighters fight and train, but we don’t know what they’re really like. I recently sat down with BFT Rising Star “Oziel” Nicandro Aloisio to take a look at what makes the 13-2, Light Heavyweight Contender tick. I went 5-rounds with the man in a conversation get some information about his career and how he got to where he is today. This was the fight before the fight. This was Round 0.
Round 0 Interviews: “Oziel” Nicandro Aloisio
Daniel Ocean (D.O.) Hello Nicandro. First things first, how are you doing?
Nicandro Aloisio (N.A.) Doing Great thank you for asking.
(D.O.) Let me get started with your roots. You're from Mexico, but you've pretty much made your fighting care cont... |

Welcome to the Credit Card Center in New York for SPNY 114, a 10 fight MMA card with two titles on the line. The main event for this evening is the Bantamweight Title defence of Buzz Cloltran against Angus Troyer, and earlier in the evening the inaugural Featherweight Title bout will be contested by Cesar James The Reaper and Thelonious Skunk.
Main Event: Bantamweight Title
Buzz Cloltran (c) 22-3-2 (6-0-1 SPNY) vs Angus Troyer 17-8-1 (2-0 SPNY)
While many observers of Cloltran’s recent draw with Delaroca expected a rematch, this match up for me is the more exciting choice. Both Cloltran and Troyer have at some point in their career been regarded as the No.1 Bantamweight in the world, and pitting them against each other will not only likely be a contender for fight of the night, but also for fight of the year.
Amazingly for a fighter of Cloltran’s record he hasn’t won any of his last 3 fights (0-2-1), but will loo cont... |
After a week away TTFC has put together an exciting night of PPV bringing us Mullen vs Ra in the Bantamweight title fight as well as 3 more title bouts in a night of ravage violence for our fans!
The TTFC Welterweight title goes on the line as James Logan Howlett defends it against Vadim Lavrov, who has edged Gregg Valentine to earn a title fight. Howlett took Valentine's title and has not looked back winning two defenses and has not lost since fighting at 155lbs against Richard Dawkins. I expect Howlett will successfully defend his title again and defeat Lavrov by decision dominating on the ground.
Frankemullet will attempt to strip Ramses Dinkin of his Super-Heavyweight title again as the first try was foiled by Dinkin's lashing out an outrageous barrage of punches leaving a head full of hair unconscious on the mat. The mullet will have t cont... |
