BEFORE LIFE AS A MMA FIGHTER
He was raised by an adopted family, his parents died in a plane crash on their way home from Finland after visiting their family. He was an aggressive child and his adopted parents thought it would be good for him to take up wrestling to give him a way to relieve his anger that he had built up. He started wrestling at 6 years old and continued on through high school where he won 2 Indiana State Titles wrestling at Bloomington High School South. He then went  on to wrestle at IU (Indiana University) where he then one 1 National Championship his freshmen year. He was on his way to becoming what IU thought was one of the best wrestlers to ever wrestle at IU until he went to a party and was jumped by a couple of guys. He was taken to the hospital to find out that he had received a broken left ankle that would lead him to have surgery and end his sophomore year of wrestling. He was so pissed about this that once he was healthy again he went looking for the guys that had caused this injury and beat the shit out of them. IU wasn't very happy with him over this and eventually kicked him off the team. That led to him eventually leaving school and on to pursuing something that he had thought about for a long time now, MMA!

TRANSITION INTO MMA
He started calling around to find a place to train, and one place caught his eye. Owen County Boxing and MMA Gym in Spencer, IN, and he started training with his new team. He started working on his boxing with a trainer by the name of Mike Shields, muay thai with a trainer by the name of Kyle Woolard, and a bjj trainer by the name of Brandon Walls. He really was developing fast and they took him to fight his first amateur fight for Indiana Cage Fighting at a show in Rockville, IN. He went in and dominated his first fight winning within the 1st minute of the fight. He kept working with the guys in Owen County for a while and earned himself a big name in MMA in the Indiana area having fought 8 fights and won all of them. The guys at Owen County Boxing and MMA told him it was time for him to move on and go pro. They gave him a number for a good manager by the name of Tim Key. They told him he would get him everything he wanted in the MMA world and he could take him to fight where ever he wanted. That's what he did and now he has become a good young fighter having stopped 4 out of his 5 fights by KO and winning the other in a decision. He has now signed a 4 fight contract with Fight Day in St.Petersburg and is going to be having his first fight there on December 23, 2011 against a very strong opponent in Devonte Jackson.

FIGHTER INTERVIEW
Tycoon Times Reporter Amber: Hi there everyone, I'm Amber and we are here with Bloomington, IN native Juska Timoska.
Amber: So why haven't you come up with a nickname yet? Most fighters have a nickname that people know them by.
Juska: I haven't chosen a nickname yet, because I feel you have to earn it, and it's something that someone will call me after a big victory.
Amber: I see I see...so how is training going and are you prepared for your next fight?
Juska: My training is going quite well over at Strikefirst Gym. I have a ton of really good fighters over there to spar with and the trainers there are just outstanding. As far as my next fight, I'm always ready! I go into every fight looking to win and this fight isn't going to be any different. I do know that this is going to be my biggest test this far and I can't over look this guy. I'm focused 100% for this fight and will be looking to do what I do, WIN!
Amber: How has the move from Bloomington, IN to Helsinki, Finland been for you?
Juska: It has been great, I'm back where my real parents are from and I've been able to see and meet a lot of my real family for the first time. They have been huge supporters of mine. I normally meet with them every Sunday for a family get together dinner!
Amber: That's nice and I can see why they are so proud of you. Well I guess for my final question for you today how do you feel your upcoming fight will end?
Juska: The way most of them do, with Devonte on his back and my fist going through his head and him going to sleep!
