Author:

Hello everyone its me again! “Sunshine” Weston Markson, with Rudy “The Box” Knife and special guest the owner of HMMA Wilson Thieatcres who says he has a special announcement.   Immediately following the announcement we will have HMMA 46 Toast V Danze Preview. So stay tuned.

Rudy: I cant wait to hear what T-cres has to say this rumors have been floating around about what he will say without further ado aye yo Mr Tcres! GET AT IT!.

Wilson:  Ok thank you gentlemen and Rudy…don’t ever call me that again.  Ladies and Gentlemen I come here today because every once in a while a special kind of fighter comes along and runs through a division.   Fighting any and all challengers, putting on exciting fights, winning titles, and just being simply….AWESOME!..... I am here to say I have found one of these fighters over his time here in HMMA this fighter won the Lightweight championship, defended that title 4 times before finally floundering to a Hall of Famer…..or in other words a Hero. This guy brought stars into the division because people wanted to come and take the chance to beat him.   I am here to say congratulations to the newest member of Heroic Mixed Martial Arts Hall of Fame…….Carlton “Razor” Robinson.  Thank you for all you have contributed Carlton you are truly Heroic!

Weston:  WOW that’s huge congrats to Carlton we had heard some time ago that you would be in line to become Heroic and now it has happened you are in the Hall of Fame and have earned it….and lol rudy how many times does Wilson have to tell you not to call him that.

Rudy:  I don’t care what  he says im gonna keep calling him tcres it will stick you wait and see…and eh congrats to Carlton you deserve that honor bro!

Weston:  Ok back to the task at hand HMMA 46.  HMMA 46 takes place on Saturday the 8th of December, this card is stacked and has potential to be the biggest card in HMMA history, there is not a fight im excited for this is going to be huge!  I talked to Wilson a few weeks ago when this card was being put together and he said he seriously considered making this into a  PPV!

Rudy:  This card is going to be huge there are two title fights,  3 hall of famers fighting, and several fights that could determine the next contenders in there division.  If I were to pick one fight im looking forward to the most I would say ….i CANT! I want to see them all….The outcomes will have a serious impact.

MAIN EVENT

French Toast (13-2) v  Billy Danze  (12-2)                 265 lbs title

Weston:  The main event of the evening is a fight between two proven heavyweight behemoths.   Two guys who have only lost two times in there MMA careers, and two guys who are near mirror images of each other.    Toast has had two separate title reigns the first of which landed him a spot inside the HMMA HoF, now after defeating Steel to get his title back he now looks to defend the title for the first time and hope his second title reign is as successful or more successful then his first.   No easy task this will be as his challenger Billy Danze has been a wrecking machine.   He is on a 5 fight win streak and some even consider to be the favorite to win despite being the challenger.  Danze has a lot of hype, and fan support behind him, this is going to be a great fight possible fight of the year.

Rudy:  Weston I want to touch on something you said, you said these two men are near mirror images of each other and that is sooo true.  Both of these guys are absolutely brutal.   They both are very close in skill and style. They both typically look to take there opponent down and beat on them until they can break them, knock them unconscious or submit them.  Both of these fighters are finishers out of the 25 wins between the two of them only three of those wins have been by decision.  I so excited for this fight I will have to make sure I stop drinking my favorite beer an hour before this fight so I don’t have to take a piss during the middle of the fight!.

Prediction:   Whoever implements there gameplan the best and ends up on top wins….wouldnt be surprised to see a very close decision being they are so similar.

(CO-)MAIN EventS!

James "Java Man" Avalon (12-4) v  Fedor "Sambist" Alexandrov (14-3)

Weston:  The co-main event of HMMA 46 is a Light-heavy weight fight between two great LHW’s that are on a roll.  Riding two fight win streaks both of these guys will look to make it 3 in a row and fight for a shot to improve their standing and possibly get a chance at a championship.   Winning three straight fights in a division like this is huge when one mistake could ruin all the hard work you have put into the fight.  This is going to be awesome and most likely the next contender will be the winner of this fight.   In fact one could possibly even consider this fight to be an interim championship match.  Alexandrov was originally slated to face  the champion, but after the champ decided to take a short leave James Avalon a worthy contender was decided to be the next challenge and now we get the opportunity to see which fighter will emerge as the next great in the division.

Rudy:  There is so much on the line in this fight both guys are so close to getting a shot to become a champion in HMMA im sure they can taste it.  This fight is going to be historic I can feel it.  Alexandrov is a ground fighter, and Avalon is a striker, a classic fight between striker and grappler with very high stakes.   An interesting note is that Alexandrov has never won a decision he has finished every fight he has won, so if this starts going deep Avalon may have a better chance, but then again this is MMA anything can happen!

Prediction:  This one is easy if the fight goes to the ground Alexandrov wins, if it stays standing Avalon wins.

"the Name is..." John Saunders  v  "Spoiled" John Kyle Romo       170 lbs title

Weston:  Your probably thinking wait there is two main events not three….NOPE HMMA put together a card here that has three fights that are worthy of being on the main event of any card.  Therefore Wilson has decided to call it what it is this fight is also a main event!  If you are not excited for this fight then you are just not a fan of the game.  The undefeated, undisputed,  Hall of famer, double champion of the welterweight and lightweight divisions John Saunders is in the building to face the very dangerous John Kyle Romo.  A battle between John’s for the title and bragging rights….maybe a loser changes name?  When JKR first came to HMMA most felt it was only a matter of time before he would be standing across John Saunders in the cage,  now that opportunity has come and possibly sooner then expected.  With a three fight win streak and a knack for knocking people out Romo will look to do what no fighter has done before….defeat John Saunders.

Rudy:  Also technically on a three fight win streak do to a draw John Saunders will look to do the usual on Saturday enter the cage having no losses on his record, and leave the same way with both of his titles firmly around his waist.  What is most impressive to me is that Saunders seems destined to never lose, even in fights that he could have lost they ended up being draws.  Romo is a big threat to this though he has 12 of his 17 wins by (t)KO so at any moment the fight could end in his favor.   On the flip side 8 out of Saunders 13 wins have also come by (t)KO.  This fight could very well be about who lands first and most often.

Prediction:  You have heard it before ill say it again, until Saunders losses I will not pick against him Saunders by decision.

MAIN CARD

Pekka "Venom" Topohanta (32-12-1) v  Dick “The Zombie” Niaz (9-2)

Weston:  So are you ready for blood?....NO I SAID ARRRRRRRRRRE YOU READY FOR BLOOD?  OK then this heavyweight fight is sure to bring you a blood bath. This is fight between two guys who are contenders in the HW division, two fighters who are looking to get into the top of the division and garner a shot against the very best.  Pekka Topohanta may be making his HMMA debut but he is no stranger to fighting with 45..YES 45 fights including big fight experience and wins.  This is Dick’s third HMMA appearance after splitting wins in his last two, the first a loss  against now champion French Toast, and the second a rebound win against Chris Hansen.  Now he is the one welcoming an HMMA newcomer and hoping to keep winning to get another shot at French Toast and erasing that loss.

Rudy:  Guys this fight is going to be an out-and-out blood bath.  Collectively these fighters have 3 times do to cuts, however Pekka has won 9 fights that’s right 9!!!! fights by cut now he is looking for a 10th, lucky for him Dick Niaz seems unstoppable UNLESS you can cut him!  Both of Niaz’s losses have been by cut.  Although he is a well-rounded fighter I think the best chance for Niaz to win the fight is to take it to the ground and submit him,  on the flip side the best chane Pekka has is to batter Niaz on his feet take the fight to the clinch and cut him up.

Prediction:  Our ring announcer asking the audience if anyone can give blood to the two fighters after the fight.. oh and I think Pekka takes this by (t)KO.

Jack “Attack” Machin (12-6) v  Carlton “Razor” Robinson(20-8-1)

Weston:  The next fight on the card brings to us a lightweight fight between a Hall of famer, and the fastest rising star in the lightweight division.  Someone just handed me a piece of paper let me read it  Dear Jack Machin:  Your name is rising fast, but you want to make a name for yourself?  Then beat a former champion, and Hall of fame fighter Carlton Robinson.  Sincerely a fan.  Machin is on the verge of being a superstar but some have criticized him saying its to early he needs to fight a top 5 fighter in the division, he needs to beat a former champion, he bla bla bla now Jack has the chance to get the biggest win of his career against the toughest challenge yet.  Will he flounder or will he rise to the occasion and prove he is the most legit challenger in the division?  Carlton is a bonafide megastar ok it appears we have another letter  Dear Mr Robinson:   Congrats on your induction into the ranks of Heroic Fighters, now its time to get another win.  I have for long been a fan of your punch them in the face until they fall style.  You are one of the legen wait for it dary fighters of my era and I need you to kick this Machin dudes ass and go get your title back.   Sincerely your biggest fan.   Despite losing two straight Robinson being a megastar only needs a small amount of wins to get back into the title picture, this could be his opportunity to get back on track and get his title back.

Rudy:  This is going to be an awesome fight, the winner could very well be next in line for the championship I have heard the next challenger will come from this card either the Tyson Jarkko fight or this one.   Machin is a little more well-rounded then Robinson but don’t expect him to get stupid and exchange strikes with Robinson,  he is a submission artist and make every attempt to get the fight into his world.  While Robinson will do everything possible to keep the fight in his world and pick Machin apart until he sees an opportunity for a knockout.

"mr decision" Mike Tyson (14-8) v  Naru "Käsi" Jarkko (16-7)

Weston:  Lightweights Mike Tyson and Naru Jarkko are two fighters who have been in their fair share of scraps, but few with the implications this fight could entertain.  We last saw Jarkko giving John Saunders his toughest fight of his career winning two out of the 5 rounds and just barely coming up short of doing the unthinkable.   Another opportunity to do that could come down the road and beating Mike Tyson would be a great start to that.  Tyson’s last fight was a title wave of GET TO KNOW WHO I AM, he came in to HMMA asked for a big name got the former champion and won a close decision in which most people had him as the underdog.  Building on that could set a path to the top to challenge for the title.  Rumors around the back have said that one of the four men involved in the lightweight fights of HMMA 46 will get a shot at the title, rumors have also said the winners will face each other for the next chance.  That is most likely the case after I talked to Wilson he was pretty tight lipped but it seemed to me that was the route he was leaning towards.

Rudy:  Woah so much on the line! What a great fight this is going to be, Tyson always brings it, Jarkko always pleases the fans two guys at the top of their division so desperately wanting to be the best I stocked.  IM gonna get high as shit before this fight.  The question that presents itself to me is can Tyson hang with Jarkko on the ground, will he be able to avoid the takedown and GNP.  We could be in for a long and awesome battle both fighters are hard to finish having only one loss a piece by finish.

Prediction:  I think Jarkko may take this one but I would be surprised if Tyson does either, Jarkko late (t)KO

PRELIMS

Weston:  HMMA 46 is host of some really exciting preliminary action these guys are also stars and with one or two solid wins could very well be right in the upper part of their division, so don’t take them for lightly I expect big things from them all.   The two welterweight fights between Timo Yo and Jack Pott, and Tedward Bundiac and Isaac Newton are all guys who have felt what its like to be on the verge of something great.  Two of them will take a step forward and emerge as challengers and future contenders.  The lightheavy weight fight between Hakeem Diaw and John Conteh is one of those fights you just cant blink or you may miss the end of the fight, both guys have that killer instinct to jump on someone when they have them hurt and put them away, and the Heavyweights will start the show  we have Cain Marko v Jong Bak two fighters on the rise looking to win a 3rd straight.

Timo Yo  v  Jack Pott

Tedward Bundiac  v  Isaac Newton

Hakeem Diaw  v  John Conteh

Cain Marko  v  Jong Bak
