I started Untouchable Fight League on the 22nd of February (2012) after being in the game for 6 weeks as a 150k ID restricted org. I earned some cash by writing jobs and that helped fund the org. It did not take me long to get a good bunch of solid fighters signed to the UFL and quickly had my first events planned and ready to go.
Fast forward to today; The ID restriction has been changed to 165k+ and the 135 and 265+ divisions are restricted to 180k+ ID’s. 186 fighters signed, 66 events (incl. 5 upcoming events), ranked 84 global and 7 in Amsterdam.
We’ve had a total of 609 fights so far this year, and 50 more to come in December. 264 ko’s, 175 submission, 166 decisions and 4 draws. I am a huge fan of fights getting finished, so I am happy with that ratio. A thing I find amusing myself; 3 of the 4 draws involve the same fighter.
Our current highest rated event is UFL 44: Nate vs. Kwidama (219.11). A record I believe will be broken still with some of our final events this year.
I am very pleased with where the UFL stands today, and I have to thank every single manager that signed their fighters with the company. Without them, the UFL would have never got this far. I am very happy with the talent that I have and I can’t say a negative thing about anyone signed with me.
I have no doubt that 2013 will be an amazing year for the company and I am looking forward to what that year brings, not only for the UFL but for the game in general.
2013 will be seeing our Hall of Fame getting it’s first inductees. After nearly a year, there are a good bunch of candidates to make it.
