The Wizard from Little Whinging

Fighter profile of Harrie Putter by

"Wizard" Harrie Putter (202509), age 24, grew up in Little Whinging, he went to the secondary school and at nights joined local tuffs in street fights. After an especially brutal loss to a fat kid, who looked like a pig, Putter joined a local gym,  Frtiz's Revenge, to beef up.  While there one of the coaches took him under his wing, getting him out of street fights and into Golden Gloves, and then soon seeing the drive Putter had, put Putter into amateur MMA bouts in the circuit of local gyms.

Putter continued his education, and started a part time job at the same local gym.  He started out cleaning the locker room, and soon was helping to coach some other local boys in Golden Glove.  After two years of training, a number of amateur bouts both Golden Glove and MMA, with a record of 4-5-2 and 3-2-3, Putter's coach put him contact with manager Reginald Jeeves (81031).

Jeeves watched a few videos of Putter's recent fights, and then traveled from London to Little Whinging to watch Putter in person.  Putter won the fight in the third round against a superior grappler, Steven McAnders by staying to the outside, landing remarkable combinations, and when McAnders came in to clinch Putter just dominated him with a flood of punches and elbow to the head and body, cutting McAnders so badly that the ref called the fight for Putter.

Jeeve's wrote up a contract for Putter the next day, and helped set him up in a suite of flats with two others of Jeeve's fighters, Marcus Moonshine (202505) and Fitzwilliam Darcy (202506).  Shortly after moving to London, Putter had his first professional fight against Kristian Berg.  Though the fight didn't go for Putter, he fought well.  The Score Card, though a unanimous decision for Berg,  showed that Putter had put up a good fight.  Judge Richard Clark and Paul Tew scored the fight as 27:30 with William Gold 26:30.

Even with a loss in his first professional fight Jeeve's was able to negotiate a contract for Putter with he newly formed Prodigy MMA Fight Championship.  Putter is looking forward to his first fight with his new promotion.
