NewDay run to new year.

Editorial by Ronny Tyson

.As we are going towards a new year and the ending of 2012, we figured we would do so with a BANG! So we went agressive on the market and signed a lot of new fighters, actually we went over 80 fighters signed today, and arranged no less than 3 events spread out over the last 11 days of the old year. This way you could say we are going into a new day for the organization.

There is a lot of great moments on the horizon. We start it with the smallest of the 3 events, wich is Xmas warm up event. This is an event with only 5 fights. But these are 5 fights with explosive potential as they are mostly new fighters in our org. All hungry to make a name for themselves and to get some attention. This is very likely where the big name(s) of the next year will shine for the first time.

In the main event we have Sid Waters Vs. Lucius Torres. Both very likely to challenge the title of the 185 divition in the distant, or not so distant at all future. And then follows 4 fights witch are all well worth describing in further detail, but as we have 3 events to cover and we dont want to risk writing forever so that you all will be at great risk of reading forever, we`ll stick to the absolute highlights. This event will blow up if the Mayas calendar is not right and the world dont go under earlier on the same day, the 21st of December.

Next, on the 28th, it is time for the first of two big events over two days at the Hayashi`s Lounge in Las Vegas. It is time for NewDay Battlefield 5. Here we will crown our first champion of the 145 divition in the main event. Edson Garcia and Johnny Farrow will enter the battlefield and go to war for the belt. This is actually a rematch between the two that have met before signing a contract with us, and then Garcia took the win with a decision win. But that was then and then there was no belt involved. And then Farrow was not pissed off because his flawless record of 3-0 was broken and become 3-1. Will this motivate him enough to claim the title and get the ultimate revenge, or will he be beaten again and be beaten twice by the same man and might have to wait for a long time before getting the chanse to prove himself better than Garcia and maybe have to fight his way back to another chanse with a broken wing after the blow to his self esteem?
The co main event is a very special fight between two very remarkable fighters. Mr. White Vs. Ben Barnham. Both with mad skills, and both with are definitly contenders. Ben has one win within the org, and that was an impression win against a good opponent, wich he submitted in the first round with an anaconda choke. Mr. White has no fights in the org so far, but has a lot going for him in many ways. The winner here will probably be next in line for the first title fight in our 205 division. They are both very skilled and it will probably be a very even match. And for the 3rd fight is one of my personal favorites, as Reijo Rymy came into our org with a very colourfull manager, Dale Saw, wich is already the greatest smack talker in the org. He is very confident in winning, and if he can back up his smack talk, he has already called out the champ of the division Jose Gomez, and if he make it passed Ben Barnham, I think he should get that chanse. Dale Saw has a big mouth, but ubelievable confidence in himself and his fighters, and if he can back up that smack talk, he will be golden. Nothing beats a fighter with a big mouth that is able to back up his shit talk. It gives him a special status as the guy that will talk shit and back it up. He might fail, but he will keep talking smack wich is great because it might get other fighters involved and passion is a great to build some more motivation. And if he cant beack it up, I get the feeling that he wount stop his big mouth. And this is all signs of passion. If he can get a win over Pat Sumrall, I`ll think he is worthy of the fight he requested. But Pat will in no way an easy task, and he might come out on top. But I think he will keep up with his attetude, wich is a good thing. It gives him whatever it takes to make him motivated. And if he shouldnt be able to to back it up all the times, maybe he would be worse without the attitude and big mouth. I like it. But right now he seemes to be alone in the smack talk thread, and it would be great if others joined in as well. It is a matter of confidense and making fights more personal. It could bring the extra fire that is needed to make the extra heathed and more personal. But how this fight will go, is too close to call. Off course Dale Saw, with his fighter Rymy are very confident in getting a win, So maybe we have got a manager that can back up his big mouth, or at least get some more passion into the game by getting other fighters involved. And again, lots of other fights that deserves a better introduction, but I am not writing a book here.

Again, lots and lots of other great fights on this events too, but we`ll try to make it short...

So, lets skip to the next and last event on the 30th. NewDay Battlefield 6 - New year..

.Main event here is also a titlefight. This is the fight were Gomez will have to defend his title, but this time with a speciall twist. I was approuch by this fighter, Igor Crazy and he had a special request. He simply wanted Gomez. Obviously for the title and at first this looked like some guy just wanted an easy way to the title shot.without having to earn it. But after looking a bit closer I saw that these two fighters had met two times before and they both ended in a draw. Actualy two draws on very short time. That is not that likely to happen in a 5 round titlefight, and this would be the ultimate matchup, so that the fighters could settle this once for all, and the winner will end up with a title wich would be the perfect ending for theyr two draws. They will actually be able to settle the score after 3 fights. And when one of them has the belt to prove their finale fight as a win after 3 times without any finale result in 2 of them, the 3rd will be the one where one of the fighters is superiour, they can finally leave this unsettled business once for all. This should be a very exiting fight. The co main event between Keith Webb and Doom Unit is a fight that is new to the org, but has been doing very well before we signed him will meet Doom Unit  that has been doing ok before signing with us, but after signing with us he has won 2 fights in impressive fashion. Two more names that have a chanse to go straight into contender status.

And again, lots of other fights that should be mentioned, but many or most of the names will show up on other events where there is less events to cover at once, and I think the main point has come across, it will be great! These events will tell a lot about how our future looks, and those fights that have not been mentioned here will probably be the once that is worth having a look at after the dust have settled.

If everything goes well it should be a great boost for our org, and I cant see any reason that it should not be great.

So, I leave it here, and let the events talk for themselves.

All there is left for me to say at this moment, is thanks to all the dedicated fighters that makes this job a lot easier for me. Give us a show. Let there be blood, sweat  and glory. And let the party begin!
