HMMA 51 END OF YEAR SHOW.

Weston:   Well folks its me again “Sunshine” Weston Markson here to cap off a great year.  We have had epic battles inside the HMMA cage all year long and this show will send us off and into a new year.  I expect amazing fights next year,  historic champions, and Heroic Fighters being inducted into the HMMA HoF.  Speaking of HMMA HoF HMMA 51 has HoF fighter John Saunders moving up in weight for a second shot at the HMMA MW crown.  We also have Chris Kendall  making his much anticipated debut against John Kyle Romo that is sure to be an awesome fight in the co-main event.  I am also pleased to announce that HMMA will be doing its first ever PPV!  That’s right these warriors will do battle inside the cage on PPV!

Rudy:  Well thanks for the introduction Weston…..anyway yea your right its been an awesome year, and I expect even bigger and better things in the future, and this end of the year show is going to be legen….wait for it…….dary! The first ever PPV, awesome up and comers fighting,  Hall of Fame fighters  this event has it all so lets get into the fights.

MAIN EVENT

Jari "Wodka" Harrikari (20-11) v "the Name is..." John Saunders   (14-0-2)              185 lbs title

Weston:  The Main event of HMMA is sure to end the year as one of the biggest fights in HMMA history.  The HoFer John Saunders makes his second trip to MW in his first trip he came up short of winning the MW title when the fight ended as a draw.  That day in April Saunders said ill be back to this weight class and im going to win the MW championship.  Since that day Saunders has emerged as a force in two weight classes.  Defending his WW title several times and eventually capturing and defending the LW title as well.  With two championships Saunders looks to add a third to his collection and be the first man in HMMA to ever hold three titles at the same time, if anyone is capable of doing this it’s the undefeated Saunders.  Harrikari burst onto the scene in November after defeating HoF fighter and champion Boing Sparbot in a close decision.  Now Harrikari looks to make his first title defense against another HoF fighter, if he accomplishes this his stock will be higher then ever as he will have come in and beat a MW legend and HoF fighter, and another legend, undefeated fighter, and HoFer.  This fight is awesome and I cant wait to see the outcome of this huge fight.

Rudy:  OOOOMMMMYGODDDD  it looks like someone new what I wanted for Christmas.  This is going to be an awesome fight, possible fight of the year.  The unbeaten double weight class champion John Saunders gets his second chance at MW gold against Jari Harrikari.   I expect this fight to be a war both guys are known  for the knockout.   20 Wins between the two have ended by way of (t)KO.  On paper Harrikari holds a bit of an advantage both standing and on the ground, but something can be said for the instincts that Saunders posses this guy seems unbeatable, he has stepped in there against people who should have destroyed him and run right threw them.   This fight is huge and could bring about a new era the Saunders era with three titles, or the Harrikari era in what could be the start of a great run through the MW division.

Prediction:  I have said it before and ill say it again, until Saunders losses I cant pick against him. Saunders by KO.

CO-MAIN EVENT

Chris "The Cobra" Kendall (16-3)  v  "Spoiled" John Kyle Romo (17-5)

Weston:  The CO-MAIN event of the evening is a welterweight fight against debuting Chris Kendall an John Kyle Romo.  Romo Making his third appearance after coming up short of beating the welterweight champion in his last outing will look to get back in the win column, and put himself in contention for another shot at the champion, but to do so he must welcome HMMA newcomer Chris Kendall.  Kendall comes to HMMA with a lot of hype behind him.  Kendall riding a two fight losing streak has the opportunity to propel himself to the top of the division if he beats Romo.

Rudy: This is the fight I think im most looking forward too.  Kendall has been a beast but has slipped up in his past two fights one of which was a highly controversial split deciscion loss.  Romo was also looking like a monster until he ran into the champion.  These two guys are evenly matched in both areas and either could win at any moment witih 22 (t)KO finishes between the two I expect there to be some fireworks.  The question is which one of these guys delivers and gets back on the winning track?

Prediction:  Its so close they really cancel out each others strengths, ill predict a finish for whoever wins.

Julius "Lights Out" Lawson (21-11-1) v "Monster"  Murilo Satinho (9-2)

Weston:  The next fight is a heavyweight showdown between two of the divisions top talents, the winner takes a giant step forward in the rankings and puts themselves in line for a title shot, while the loser takes a small step back and goes back to the drawing board.  Last time we saw Julius Lawson he was coming off the biggest win of his career beating former champion Norman Steel.   With a win like that he proves he can beat the bests of the division and builds confidence that could carry him down a path to the title.   “Monster” comes into this fight on a two fight win streak and is building a reputation as a winner in HMMA’s HW division.  In his previous 6 fights only one of those have ended with the man staring across from him having his hand raised in victory, can Satinho continue his impressive winning ways in his 7th HMMA appearance  or will the confidence that Lawson gained beating a former champion carry over into this fight leading to a victory?

Rudy:  Huge implications are whats at stake in this fight, we have two guys on the brink of greatness vying  for an opportunity to take on the champion also this fight displays a classic striker vs grappler battle and whats even more intriguing is both men are finishers.  Lawson in his 33 fights has only been taken to decision two times,  he has 21 (t)KO’s to his record, Sathino has 6 of his 9 wins by submission and has proven if you make a mistake on the ground you will soon be tapping out.  This fight will be all about whoever implements their gameplan will it be the striker Lawson, or the grappler Satinho who gets the other to fight their fight.

Prediction:  The winner simply is the one who keeps this fight in their world.   If it’s a standup battle Lawson wins, if it’s on the ground Satinho makes Lawson tap.

Matt "$Dollar$" Leach (3-0) v "Hurricane" Rubin Carter (15-2)

Weston:  The next fight on the card is a Middleweight fight between Matt Leach and Rubin Carter in what could turn out to be a fight between two of the biggest up and coming prospects in the division.   In just his third fight some have wondered if Matt Leach is ready for top flight competition, his meteoric rise has found himself gathering lots of hype and if his 3 fights have shown anything its that the potential is sky high with all three fights ending quickly in the first round.  Can Leach continue his metoric rise?  Rubin Carter has been  a man on a mission since entering the HMMA cage.  Looking for his 10th win straight and a shot at the HMMA MW title Rubin showcases some of the best hands the MW division has seen.    Soon if Rubin keeps winning he will get that shot at the championship but first he must not look past the talented Leach.

Rudy:  This fight should take place solely on the feet.  I don’t expect either fighter to look for a takedown, both fighters are very good boxers, and near mirror images overall.   This fight could crown the sexiest man in the MW division….in fact I think Leach might be putting that title on the line against carter damn he hawt!

Weston: OK rudy that might be the most disturbing thing I have heard come out of your mouth in a long time…WTF is wrong with you.

Rudy: Don’t hate bro!

Prediction:  Leach pulls off a shocking “upset”

Geralt Of Ravia  v  Antonio Trillanes

Norman Steel  v  Retsu Kaioh

David Nixon  v  Gugo Ograni

Bob Banks  v  Hunter Hearst Hogan

Mr Translucent  v  Takeshi Kusimuki

Mr Gray  v  George Oven
