Without further delay lets break down this amazing night of full out wars!  Hang on to your hats folks...because IT'S TIME!

Leon Bridges vs. Sal "Road Dog" Paradise @ 185lbs.

Leon comes into this one with a solid track record of breaking his opponents will on the ground.  He looks to take you down and grind on you until his hand is raised in victory.  He has some decent boxing chops that he can deploy if required.....can he unleash his brutal ground game on the Road Dog??  In a true contrast of styles the Road Dog will be looking to stand and bang in this one.  His boxing and muay thai are his meal tickets and he is hungry for a KO!  Can he get to the chin of Bridges and make this just another day in Paradise???

Early on the game plans became clear. Paradise came out swinging and Bridges realized that he needed to drag it the canvas ASAP and that is just what he did.  Let the grind begin....WAIT....no this ref wants action and the crowd roars as he brings the fighters back to their feet.  Bridges was not deterred though showing he is no one trick pony.  He quickly took the fight into the clinch where he got the best of the action and secured the first round.  In the second stanza Paradise did well to keep himself upright and control the clinch position.  He didn't put many dents in the melon of Bridges but controlled the round and probably narrowly took it on points.  This one would boil down to the final frame.  It's gut check time! Who has the stones to muscle through and get the win! In the third Bridges employed his game plan to perfection.  He scored the early takedown and wore Sal down a little before being reset on the feet by a ref standup.  He then popped Road Dog with a jab late in the round that split him open and probably sealed the fate of Paradise in the minds of the judges,  The winner....Leon Bridges via Unanimous Decision

Kenrick "The Beast" Nikil vs. "The Dark One" Dustin Heloise @ 265lbs.

It's time to lock some big boys in the cage and let them ply their trade! Nikil is well rounded fighter.  it will be difficult to outclass him in any phase of the game but if he has his way he will be looking to use his dominant wrestling to plant Heloise firmly on the canvas and go directly into mash mode.  He ruins faces with G&P.  On the other side of the cage "The Dark One" has the boxing and muay thai ability to put a downer on any opponents night....if you aren't careful you will find yourself answering a series of questions regarding your name, location and the date when you wake up.  Let's see who will be the better big man tonight!!!

Battle lines were drawn early as Nikil pressed in and landed a takedown from the clinch.  Heloise however was not going to just allow "The Beast" to dictate.  He worked hard to get back to his feet...only to again have Nikil dump him on his ass!  The second time was the charm for Nikil who started to impose his will on the floor.  He quickly advanced to the mount position and this spelled doom for Dustin.  Nikil started landing shots and working for subs before crashing a particularly nasty elbow into the skull of his oppnent.  He smelled blood and he wanted more....he unleashed a flurry of shots ending the fight leaving Heloise limp on the canvas.  Your winner.........Kenrick "The Beast" Nikil via KP (Strikes) 3:24 Rd. 1

Carver Cade vs. Firnanda Talha @ 145lbs.

Cade is a ToP FC newbie.  He comes in with a mountain of hype and popularity and has made it no secret that his only desire is the 145lb. strap.  He is very well rounded and looks like he could pose problems anywhere in the cage.  He prefers to turn the lights out on opponents though and has outstanding wrestling.  It will be interesing to see how he approaches his first ToP FC bout with a vet of the org. in Tahla.  Firnanda Tahla has fought the best of the best in ToP FC with great success.  Tahla is well rounded and also brings a KO attitude with him into the cage.  He may also look to gain top position and rain stoppage type blows down upon his opponent.  Or will one man adjust his gameplan and shock the other? Let's find out!

In round 1 Tahla made it clear he wanted this one to go to the ground as he worked hard for takedowns early but found no success.  He was right to try and drag Cade down because on the feet he was purely outclassed.  Cade started picking his opponent apart with pinpoint accuracy over the coming minutes.  Tahla was at the mercy of Cade's strikes.  To his credit he worked hard to change the tempo and turn it into a ground war but Cade was too much for him on this night.  Late in the first round Tahla was clipped with the deciding right hand that sent him spinning to the ground.  Cade proceeded to take his back like a spider monkey and drop bombs until with one second left in the round the ref. had seen enough and decided to preserve the health of Firnanda Tahla.  A great effort by Cade who made an awesome first impression and demanded a shot at the 145lb. champ Dun!  WINNER....Carver Cade via TKO (Strikes) 4:59 Rd. 1

Joe "Bad Career Advice" Piscopo vs. "The One-Eyed" Xiahou Dun @ 145lbs.

It's now time for the co-main event of the evening.  On any other card this one would be a headliner for sure.  It all speaks to the incredible show ToP FC has put together for ToP Fight Night #5.  Piscopo is the former 145lb. champ who lost his belt in a hard fought decision to Dun.  He is a living legend of ToP FC and has been obsessed with gaining back the gold he believes he deserves.  His sub game is something the likes of which you might only find on a Gracie training video.  He is solid in all aspects and looking to show that THE CHAMP IS BACK! His opponent, the champion, lives and breathes MMA.  He won't give back that belt easily.  Dun is calm and cool in the cage and he brings the true toolbox of a complete MMA fighter.  It's difficult to predict where he will try and gain an edge in this fight but what we do know is that he has the game to floor the great Piscopo one more time!

The opening 5 minutes were a feeling out process.  Both men showing great respect and both having moments.  Piscopo landed a promising takedown only to have the position reversed late in the round.  A hard round to score but we know the action is just heating up!  In the second act the two warriors were again cautious.  Piscopo clearly thought he could handle Dun on the gorund and possibly sub his way back to the title.  He landed two early takedowns but Dun was again game for some ground action.  He was able to reverse the position and work some subs of his own from the top.  Piscopo waould be difficult to beat at his own game though and defended well going into round 3.  In the third it seemed like the story for this fight had been decided upon....whoever was going to lay claim to the prize was going to do it showing off their grappling prowess.  Piscopo again landed a takedown and the two warriors again took turns sweeping and attempting to end the contest via sub.  What a razor close fight!!! Fittingly this one would have to be decided by the championship rounds.  As often is the case, a great title fight would be decided by sheer will and determination.  In the 4th round we kept the grapplefest going...Piscopo again landed a takedown with ease.  Again Dun proves to be a cagey customer though and Piscopo could not maintain top position.  The round was another barrage of sub attempts going both ways as these two great champions were really showing off some slick grappling chops.  This fight was looking like it would be left in the hands of the judges...and after 4 it could really go either way.In round 5 the hellish tempo slowed slightly as the grappling continued but as we thought this one was going to the scorecards....as owner of ToP FC I was a fan at this point.  Which way would the judges lean???  And the winner.....and STIIIIIIIIIIL ToP Featherweight Champion of the World......Xiahou Dunnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "The One-Eyed" Xiahou Dun via Majority Decision.

Denny "Pant-Load" Miller vs. "El Machete" Rodrigo Belmonte @ 205lbs.

The main event is a real treat folks.  It will pit two fighters agaist each other that have perfect records.  As they say in the business somebody's "O" must go!  Not to mention the LHW belt is on the line!  Both of these fighters like to take care of their business in a similar fashion.  Get in the cage...lock the door....and proceed to part his opponent from his senses.  Let's find out who the true 205lb champ is and who is going to take a nap tonight in the octagon!

In the first round these two did not disappoint the fans in attendance! They came out banging!! Belmonte was clearly in super aggression mode as he unleashed his hands and feet at a furious rate! CRACK CRACK CRACK! The contacts rung out in the arena as devestating shots landed by both men for the entire 5 minutes of the opening round.  The champ Rodrigo Belmonte got the better of it as he refused to allow time for "Pant-Load" to breathe.  He pushed the pace and set the tempo of a champion! cold Miller hang in? Round 2...ding ding ding....the fans could hardly wait for it to resume!  Early in the second frame Miller served notice he was no wilting lily.  He came out gunning connecting with a couple of hard shots early.  However, that flipped the switch for "El Machete" and he picked up the pace again and started landing punishing shots to the head and body of his opponent until finally....BANG an uppercut from hell found its mark and that was the beginning of the end.  The champ rained down fists of fury untl the ref stepped in and stopped the fight.  The champion still......."El Machete" Rodrigo Belmonte via TKO (Strikes) 2:55 Rd. 2
