Elijah Hoffman (4-3) vs Jon Thompson(7-5-1)
The main event of our first event features two experienced boxers, Elijah Hoffman and Jon Thompson. This one could go either way. Both men are very versed in boxing, and both hold purple belts in BJJ. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a 3 round slug fest from start to finish. This is a very important fight for both fighters, and both are looking to get back to their winnings ways. Hoffman has lost 3 of his last 4 fights, while Thompson is also coming off a fresh loss. Should be a very exciting fight!
Ali Carter(2-1) vs Chris Gale(0-0)
The co-main event of the evening is a very interesting matchup between Ali Carter and Chris Gale. Gale will be making his MMA debut, and is much more well-rounded than his opponent Carter, but you can never underestimate the power and accuracy of someone that has as deadly Muay Thai as Carter does. If it is an up-close and personal fight, Carter will take the nod, but if Gale gets ahold of him and brings him to the ground, it'll be Gale's fight.
Young Squad(1-0) vs Anderson Jones(0-0)
Two newer fighters will be featured in this about. Classic tale of the striker versus the grappler. Anderson Jones will be definitely looking to drag this fight to the ground and put his BJJ Brown belt to terrific use in his first fight, while im sure Squad will be looking to keeping his record untarnished. To do so, he will have to use his wrestling to his advantage and keep this fight standing. Either way, it should make for an excellent, exciting fight!
Ryan Mote(2-7) vs Brett Jackson(1-4)
Ryan Mote and Brett Jackson, are both desparately looking to get one in the win column. They are both fairly well-rounded and will be looking to put the other one out, which always make for an exciting match-up. Don't let their records fool you, they will both bring it, and leave everything inside the ring for sure!
Matt Lauzon(0-0) vs Islam Islam(0-0)
This fight features two men making their MMa debuts. This is similar to the Squad vs Jones match-up, where Islam will without a doubt be looking to take Lauzon to the ground and submit him, while Lauzon will be looking to use his wrestling to keep this one standing to go for the knockout.
Young Scooter(1-1) vs Nick Diaz(4-5)
Both men are coming into this matchup coming off losses, and will be looking to finish each other off. Diaz is a little more trained than Scooter, but that doesn't mean you should ever count out Scooter. He will also be looking to land that big right hand to knock out his opponent.
Brian Knocks(1-1) vs David Onassis(1-1)
This match-up features two very evenly matched fighters looking to make a name for themselves in the Killzone. Both men are well-rounded fighters, so there is no telling who will walk away with the victory in this bout. Knocks is coming off a fresh loss, and will be itching to get the win, while Onassis is fresh off a win and badly wants to keep his streak going. Who will win? We will find out on January 10th!
Mike Carter(0-0) vs Tom Redl(1-1)
This fight has the honour of being the very first fight inside the Killzone in org history!! This fight is between a very well rounded up-and-comer making his MMA debut, a very dangerous wrestler in Redl. Carter is going to have to try to keep Redl out at a distance and defeat him with his striking, and not let Redl close in and grab a hold of him.
