T.W.D Aggression 19!

Event Review: TWD Aggression 19
The Wild Den(150k+)
2013-01-18, Rio de Janeiro, Hard Knocks - Rio
Attendance:2,389, Event Rating:218
Author:Xavier Zane

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the beautiful city of Rio de Janeiro. I'm Roy Goos, T.W.D's new writer when Xavier Zane took over. I think he will do great as the owner of this organisation as i had fighters under him before. So without further ado, what a writer should do, is write a preview to T.W.D Aggression 19!

The Main Event: Wedge Xiii vs. Borys Grabowski (c) for the 145lbs (Lightweight) title!

Former 145lbs champion Wedge Xiii hopes to reclaim his title that he lost to Borys Grabowski at T.W.D 41: Xiii vs. Grabowski.
This is Grabowski's second title defence, his fight ending via K.O in the last round, what was worth a Fight Of The Night award.
My take on this one is that if Wedge Xiii takes it to the ground, the title is back around his waist. The T.W.D Hall Of Famer has ended
10 of 11 fights via T.K.O and has received 1 K.O. of the night award with it. Can the oh-so popular Denmark-native reclaim his title?

I'm calling Wedge Xiii via T.K.O (Strikes) in the 1st round, around the 3 minute mark.

----

The Co-Main Event: Nathan Redmond vs. Lucas Pereira.

The Undefeated Lucas Pereira takes on T.W.D Veteran Nathan Redmond in what could be his 8th victory in a row. Nathan Redmond
has been with T.W.D since it began and has been loyal enough to stick with us ever since. The much more experienced veteran
may earn himself a title shot if he were to win this one. The all-rounded 22 year old may have to force Lucas Pereira into the clinch
if he wants to win this one, as Pereira knows little about Muay Thai.

I'm calling Nathan Redmond via TKO (Cut) in the 1st round, 2:30.

So you need supplements and can't find true quality nutritions? Why bother looking? ATTICUS BLACK in Tokyo, official sponsor of T.W.D,
has the supplements you need to endure those long-ass workouts in the gym. Seriously. You'll need it.

Fight #3: Aze Gori vs. Jordan Mutch.

Another fighter under Greg Macintosh enters the cage to take on Aze Gori, The man only fimiliar with (T).K.O's. Aze Gori has shown that it
is possible to get to his chin. It only took a kick and then a few punches to drop the man who was on a 4 fight win streak. After this loss, Aze
Gori went on to win 2 more fights and hopes to make this fight his 3rd. However, stopping him is another British brawler, "Monster" Mutch.
Mutch, much like Redmond, is an all-rounded fighter having victories in all methods. Mutch has been champion before, but failed to defend his
title succesfully. After signing with T.W.D, Mutch has had a little trouble climing the ranks. Could this be the fight he needs before he'll get a contender
fight?

I'm calling Jordan Mutch via (T).K.O (Strikes) in the 2nd round, 1:20.

Fight #4: Algenir Aguiar De Mira vs. Markus Serdal.

Another undefeated fighter puts his streak on the line. Aguiar De Mira, Another Jack-Of-All-Trades fights Markus Serdal, a submission
specialist from Luanda, Angola. "Maquina De Submissao", managed by Steve Kean, has favored submissions all his life, being rewarded
with a 1500 dollars for Submission of the night. Though, Serdal has been knocked out twice, and even has been forced to submit! Can
Aquiar De Mira get to Serdal's chin and get a K.O of the night award?

I'd say so. Algenir Aquiar De Mira via K.O (Head Kick) in the 1st round, 1:30 seconds in.

---
Fight #5: Mister Chicletinho vs. Ed Alves.

I would want to write a review, but this is just stupid. Chicletinho's manager lets him go into this fight without any morale
nor energy. The submission specialist with 7 victores under his belt (get it? Belt? Purple belt..?) via submission maybe be
knocked out cold, and the only one to blame being himself. Ed Alves just has to take this fella down and submit him.
This is Alves's 2nd fight, and being put against a 11 fight veteran like Chicletinho, being 'granted' a victory could do alot for his
reputation. I had just hoped it wouldn't have to be this easy.

Ed Alves, 1st round, 20 seconds via Submission (Kimura). Ugh.

Now you have those supplements from ATTICUS BLACK, you're signed to T.W.D but you can't find a gym. What do you do?
You send a message to Gym Owner & Scout, Zordon of Eltar to receive an invite to Evolution Fight Academy. Strictly to T.W.D fighters only.

So that's the main card. Time to give you my predictions for the lower card, starting with...

Victor Kang (low morale) vs. Wiz Khalifa (low intelligence) will see Wiz Khalifa win via Submission (RNC) in the 2nd round, 2 minutes in.

(medium morale, no energy) Paul TImberlake vs. (my fighter) Owen Rose will see Owen Rose via T.K.O (Strikes) in the1st round, 30 seconds in.

Ban Dit vs. Randall White in my opinion will be the Fight Of The Night, seeing Ban Dit win via T.K.O (Strikes) in the 3rd round, 1:40.

The debut of Jim Gold vs. The undefeated Carlos Helms sees Carlos Helms win via K.O (Punches) in the 1st round,2:40.

And the boring-ass opening contest of Fernando Balestra vs Daniel Macena will be a crying contest, both having no morale whatsoever. Fernando Balestra, TKO (Cut), 2nd round, 3 minutes in.

So that's it for tonight! I will see you guys at T.W.D 49 where i will review Aggression 19, and preview T.W.D 49. Whoo-woop!
