Torment MMA-LA Presents

TMMA 32 "Dragon vs Burton 2"

For the seventh consecutive event Torment MMA invades King Theatre in Los Angeles for yet another stacked night of Cage Fighting Madness. Two titles will anchor the show as well as a featherweight # 1 Contender matchup 10 fights in all and everyone one of them is gonna be full of fireworks. The Weigh Inns for the show will be held tomorrow night at one of my favorite lounges, Leave it to Beavers gentlemans club. Don't miss out on this there will be a pre weigh inn meet and greet so get there early and meet the fighters, If you have children don't you fret because there is also a day care on hand these ladies are multi taskers at Beavers.

Now lets take a look at the action for Saturday Nights Mega card.

Featherweight bout
Vasilij "Sniper" Zajtsev (5-3-0) vs. "The Hammer" Jackson Briggs (3-2-0)

This will be a rematch, in there first fight Zajtsev got a early submission victory and he will no doubt be looking to end this fight in the same manner.Vasilij is on a 3 fight win streak and looking to get in the title picture with a win here. His ground game seems to be his backbone but he can stand and bang if need be. Jackson is coming off a impressive TKO victory in his last bout with Anderson Lee. Look for Briggs to try and use his clinch more in this second fight as he showed in his last bout. Jackson may want to be a little more cautious in this bout for if he does not Zajtsev will surely look to capatilize on his over aggresiveness.

Featherweight Bout
Jo "The Mojo" Jo (5-5-0) Vs. "The Dane" Ebbe Emmanuel Ibssen (4-2-0)

In are second bout of the Main Card we have another pair of great featherweights looking to improve there ranking. Jo feel a little short in his debut here at Torment dropping a decision to Renato King at WOTLA 28 but he showed he has some potential on the ground. The Brown belt in BJJ has finsihed all his victories four of which where by submission. Ebbe is a Ring of Fire Vet looking to make a impact in his Torment Debut with a big win. Ibssen has a very balanced attact but favors his wrestling he will need it to avoid going to the ground with the more experienced BJJ guy in Jo Jo.

Featherweight # 1 contender Bout
"CJ Corona" Renato King (8-4-0) Vs. Chuck "I can touch MC Hammer" Norris (7-1-0)

Next up we got us two guys ready to take that next Big step in there career and with a win they will get the chance to turn that corner and face the champ and always dangerous Vitali Popov. Renato in the past has looked to struggle in the big matches but this Saturday he can change all that. Watch out for King on the ground he has disposed five of his victims there using his fantastic BJJ skills to making them tap out. Chuck is looking for a new start to his career coming over from Immortals of NY, and what better way to do so then earning a title shot after just his first fight here. Norris is a dangerous striker and if he keeps it standing he could give Renato some problems very quickly.

Superheavyweight Title Bout

*Champion* Gordus "The Claymore Sword" Clay (5-0-0) Vs. *Challenger* "The Giant" Andre Roussimoff (5-2-0)
In are Co-headliner we got the big boys taking to the cage in what looks to be a fight full of Violent death bombs. The champ Gordus has looked unstoppable here at TMMA rolling through his competition. In his last bout he was took into the championship rounds where he proved he has the Cardio to go with his MMA game. Clay will want to use his superior wrestling ability to dictate the pase of the fight and slow down his foe. "The Giant" is a very affective striker with a solid Muay Thai base he will need to use his height and reach to keep gordus at bay. Andre also is a very powerfull guy the question is though how will he act fighting off his back and can he stuff the Takedown, we will know at the nights end.

Heavyweight Title Bout

*Champion* Don "Fire Breather" Dragon (10-0-0) Vs. *Challenger* "The Prison Guard" Stan Burton (6-1-0)

In the Main Event of the Evening the Heavyweight title will be on the line when the Undefeated champ and always deadly Don Dragon meets Stan Burton for a second time. Dragon has yet to go imto the third round as he has finished all his fights either by KO or Submission. The BJJ brown belt made short work of Burton in there last outing finishing him in the first round with arm renching Kimura. Burton has been on a tear since he was defeated by Dragon the first time and is a vicious striker with one punch KO power. I think in the end Burton will prove he is a much improved fighter and will finally take Dragon past the 2nd round, he will have his hands very full though if he plans on taking the belt. Both of these guys are coming from very well respected camps though and surely whomever wins this bout will have a ton more respect after this victory.

This card is gonna be Balls to the walls so be sure your extra drunk so you enjoy the show(and by some of are fantastic Torment Merchandise). See you guys at the event

Have a Great Day!!!!!
