"Fire Tornado" Firnanda Talha vs Joe "Bad Career Advice" Piscopo
Talha enters the octagon this evening hoping to shake a two-fight losing streak, that said those two were to Current Champ Xiahou Dun and Top Contender Carver Cade. Talha knows he is still standing just a win or two from challenging for the belt once again! Talha is indeed a "Fire Tornado" with seven of his nine wins coming via Knock-Out! Piscopo offers all his opponents the same "Bad Career Advice" by saying "Sure go to the ground with me, you'll be just fine". Piscopo has also recently dropped a title challenge to the One-Eyed Dun, and wants one more shot! Piscopo has won five of his seven victories with his slick as shizzle submizzles! The Bell Rings! Piscopo closes the distance and presses for a trip takedown and gets it! Piscopo looks to pass guard but Talha controls so far! "Sweetness in Yo Face" Kent Phillips vs Kenrick "The Beast" Nikil
"Sweetness" brings a near perfect 7-1 record to the cage tonight! Phillips most recent venture into the octagon was his first taste of defeat, and a foul taste he swears to never taste again! It was like old gym socks and horseradish he recalls. Pretty sure he was concussed so that might not be completely accurate. "The Beast" has really found his pace as of late, having one his last three bouts via TKO and rarely being taken out of the first round! Despite this KO streak, Nikil really butters his bread (and his opponents) with his ground game. A superb collegiate wrestler with a Brown belt is not someone to be trifled with on the ground. The Bell Rings!!! Nikil walks out and straight into a punch! Ouch! It looks like he has already been cut! Nikil circles away, and Phillips keeps testing his range and landing some shots here and there! After they break Nikil finally drops and drives and scores a takedown into Phillips guard! Nikil works some moderately effective GnP but Phillips is more active in improving his position. In the secound round the fighters clinch-up and Phillips' dirty boxing find a home but Nikil defends well enough while trying every way possible to take this fight to the ground! No luck for Nikil, but OOOH Phillips hits a homerun with quick right that stumbles Nikil and "Sweetness" swarms and forces the ref to step in! Your Winner at 1:14 of the 2nd round via TKO! Jaemin Jeong vs Dirty Sanchez
Jeong enters the cage having his had his first taste of humble pie. His highlight reel knockout loss to challenge still Champ Dmitriy Bobstov offered a cold reality after the warm comfort of having won seven of his past eight in pursuit of the belt! Refocused, Jeong returns looking for another victory and another shot at the belt. All eight of his wins have come via Submissions. Dirty Sanchez enters this evening putting a perfect 7-0 record on the line. He is a newcomer to ToP, but has many impressive heads upon his mantle already. "Karvinho" brings a perfect 6-0 record to the cage tonight! His ToP debut against Pual Orndorf only confirmed all the rumors about this white-hot young phenom who is a master of all, but his BJJ is the tool by which he carves his finest masterpieces! But he has to deal with two-time defending Light Heavyweight Champion "El Machete"! Belmonte has been atop his thrown for quite some time with no one willing to even challenge the champ! His sterling 7-0 record made all challengers fearful! Karwowski hopes to prove he can't even spell "fear" let alone his own last name . . . The Bell Rings!!! Belmonte comes out pressing the action and definitely being th more aggressive on his feet! Karwowski is driving home some hard leg kicks to keep Belmonte honest, and honestly back his up a bit! Belmonte returns the favour sinking some kicks deep into Karwowski's thighs! Karwowski is really hunting for takedown, and finds some success! "Karvinho" knows where he wants to keep this fight! Karwowski is landing some vicious and non-delicious ground shots here! Karwowski is really pushing the pace and trying to soften Belmonte up. Belmonte has negate more than a half dozen sub attempts here, but Karwowski keeps the fight grounded! "Wojna" is one of the newest and most exciting additions to the ToP ranks! With a record of 9-2 "Wojna" has asserted his knock-out prowess and brings a very well-round approach to Absolutely Obliterating all of his challengers! Aquino brings a scrumtulescent 12-1 to the cage tonight with ALL TWELVE of those wins coming via KO!!! In those twelve victories, Jorge has only been out of the first round twice, only to finish in the secound round! He most recently tasted his first loss before signing with ToP and already planning a new win streak! The Bell Rings!!! Aquino presses the stand-up right off the bat and lands a few!
