Main Card
Our first contest on the Main Card is between 145lbers 9."Irish" Mike OMalley(3-3)(1-0) and 10.Trent "Spider" Stevens(1-1)(0-1). There doesn't appear to be awhole lot of holes in Irish's game, as he likes to take the fight just about everywhere and can finish with his KO power. Spider on the other hand likes to use his wonderful Mauy Thai to clinch up and work his elbows and knees. Judging by Spider losing his last fight by SUB and having a solid chin I see OMalley taking it down and using his purple belt to tap his opponent out.
185lbs-10.Mickey Davies(3-1)(0-0) vs Ed Dalsworth(3-2)(1-0), with almost identical records and gameplans this one could be interesting. Both guys are coming off of finishes in their last fights, and Ed's winning him the KO of the night bonus. Mickey could be looking to use his good mixture of clinch and striking to out smart his opponent. I see Dalsworth winning this one with a (t)KO finish in the 1st Rd.
170lbs-4.Brynjar Skjeggestad(5-0)(2-0) vs 5.Severino "Bombita" Bernardo(2-2)(2-0), Brynjar is riding a 5 fight win streak all by way of submission. He has good striking as well, but he choosing to use his purple belt instead. Bombita is coming in having won both of his FC fights by taking his opponent down and stopping them with his awesome ground and pound. So this is going to be interesting if these guys wanted to use their usually gameplan or switch it up and keep it standing. The winner of this one will be fighting Kid Kong for the first welterweight champion, and I like Brynjar is going to be that man by way of 1st Rd submission.
135lb Championship-Benson "Smooth" Henderson(7-6)(1-0) vs "South African King" Bo Lawal(3-0)(2-0), one of these two warriors will be crowned the first Fallen Champions "Champion". Smooth like to take the fight down and use his high level purple belt to submit his opponents. Mean while Bo likes to use his quickness to take his opponent down and use his ruthless ground and pound to finish. This could be fight of the night here folks, I'm going with Bo by Split Decision.
145lb Championship-1.Malcolm "The Great" Master(9-6)(2-0) vs 2.Karlic "KTFO" Tiberous(8-2)(2-0), both fighters are undefeated at 2-0 in the FC ring, and all of them have been by submission! Masters using his powerful takedowns to get the fight to the mat, and finish with his brown belt! He has fought twice in the FC, and won 2 submission of the night awards. Karlic uses his great cardio, and good mix of striking and wrestling to get his opponent down and tap them out FAST! Two fights, two submissions, and both combined for less then one minute! I see this one turning into a high level grappling match, that will be very exciting to watch! I see Karlic's cardio being the difference here, and allow him to take control of the fight in the 2nd round getting him the decision win!
