Dan Hardly - The resurrection of a fighter.

Fighter profile of Dan Hardly by Luan Dovik

He used to be called "Left Hook" (even tough he never finished or rocked someone with that kind of punch). Used to have a red mohawk and just fight whoever they asked and for whatever reason. He started his career with 22 years old and after 12 years, he's ready to recreate himself. 3 managers were with him, the last one being Kurt Triangle and after fighting and arguing a lot with those guys, he decided to quit being that punk. Not because that was his personality, but because he was never anything like that. He just wanted to enjoy the process and being a punk never was something he needed or planned to do. He decided to shave the mohawk and let his real hair grow. He just didn't care for those stuff. He only focused on getting a good team where he could feel welcome and help them develop the same way they would help him raise again. That led his friends to call him "The Ancestor", a nickname that he decided to use until the end of his career.

Hardly fought as a welterweight and lightweight for the majority of his career, but he just feels like fighting around the 155 lbs mark right now. When he asked Dovik about joining his camp, he was received with open arms and his knowledge would help a lot of young guys there. And so he went, leaving all that past behind. He still has the scars of many wars (victories or defeats) but he will carry what mattered the most of those days. After joining the new team, Hardly was still stuck to a contract in Hilo, but he never wanted to stay there. He's looking forward into making a big deal and facing some good guys out there.

"Yeah, my record became a shitty one (30-20) and I do not want to become a Bob Sapp. I want to fight as long as my body hangs it but I'll fight for the glory, not the pay check. I'll fight for wins and maybe even titles. I know I still have it and I know it will be a new day when I enter a cage or ring for the next time. I hope to share with all of you my new path towards redemption. I'll retire soon, but I want to have the most of my last days. I hope to make Team Dovik and Team Kaiser proud."
