Prelims

155 lbs Murat Kahaladze (2-3) v Harland Sanders (0-5)
Kahaladze will outwrestle Sanders and send him out of CFS.

265 lbs NIkola Mracajac (2-0) v Alexander Goranov (1-2)
Mracajac will use his superior wrestling to take Goranov to the ground and finish the fight via submission.

170 lbs Bobby Olsen (3-1) v Georges St Pierre (3-0)
Bobby Olsen is the more well-rounded fighter here but St. Pierre's dangerous submission game might cause him trouble. Very even fight on paper that could go either way.

265 lbs Greg Garrison (1-1) v Mikhail Piotrov (1-0)
Garrison is the more well-rounded of the two, and should win this one.

205 lbs Vviktung Bolski (2-0) v Olaf Brolaf (1-0)
This fight is very close on paper but I'd give the advantage to Brolaf because he is the more well-rounded of the two.

Main Card

185 lbs Denzel Kurt (4-1) v John Bolt (3-2)
Our first fight on the main card is battle of two CFS veterans. Both these guys were part of the first ever CFS event back in February and have stayed with us ever since. Kurt is a talented wrestler who started his CFS career in an impressive fashion, winning his first two bouts. However, his winning streak came to an end back in CFS 8 when he was submitted by Camel Monkey in a title eliminator bout. This weekend Kurt is looking to get his career back on track when he faces John Bolt. Bolt is a talented fighter with a backround in wrestling and boxing. He is 3-1 in the CFS and is coming off from an impressive 1st round KO win over Dean Wakefield. Both of these guys like to punish their opponents with vicious ground and pound, but the difference between these guys is Bolt's power. Whereas Kurt is more of a grinder, Bolt is a finisher with a killer instinct. If Bolt get's on top of you the fight is gonna be over soon. However Kurt has some submissions in his game so he might be able to catch Bolt on the ground if he gets sloppy. In the end I'd still give the advantage to Bolt due to his superior power.

155 lbs Jamie Jones (5-4) v Nils Nyborg Hojer (3-2)
In our second fight on the main card two talented lightweights are set make their CFS debuts. They both had decent runs at Montreal Fight Nights but never met in the cage. Now when they enter the CFS cage, we'll see who is the better man. Jones is a talented striker with big KO power. Hojer is a powerful wrestler who also likes to punish his opponents with some dirty boxing in the clinch. If Jones can keep this fight on the feet it will be only a matter of time when he finds his range and tagging Hojer with his vicious striking techniques. The question is, can he keep the fight standing long enough to score the KO. Jones's 87% career takedown defense suggests that he could, but he has never fought a wrestler of Hojer's caliber. This is a very even fight and could really go either way.

155 lbs Benny Bernardo (4-1) v Mahavir Ramanujam (6-2)
Our co-main event of the evening is also in the lightweight division. In this fight the former lightweight title challenger Benny Bernado goes toe to toe with the talented CFS newcomer Mahavir Ramanujam. Bernado is known for his vicious kicks whereas the fighting pride of India is a powerful wrestler with BJJ brown belt ground game. While Bernardo is the favorite if the fight stays on the feet, Ramanujam's 76% career takedown accuracy says that this fight is going to the ground. On the mat Ramanujam should dominate Bernardo and I think that he is gonna finish the fight with an early submission.

265 lbs Benny Brett (6-0) v John Jairo Velasquez (8-2)
The main event of the even is a battle of the big boys when these two talented heavyweights collide. Brett is an elite grappler with powerful takedowns and BJJ brown belt ground game. He is the former GLADIATOR heavyweight champion and he has finished all of his opponents by submission. Velasquez is a heavy handed boxer with all of his eight career victories coming by the way of knockout. He is also the former SFL super-heavyweight champion. This is a classic striker versus grappler matchup and he winner will be the man who can execute their game plan better. Will it be Brett or Velasquez? I don't know. One thing I can promise though: This fight won't go to the judges scorecards!
