Hello everyone, I'm Mike Fletcher and I'll be writing reviews for Dynasty Events for the foreseeable future so let’s get to it. Dynasty 57 went down Jan 22 at Hard Knocks Arena in front of 3000 screaming fans. The Event Rating for the event was 163.17. Here's what happened;

The opening bout of the evening featured Bee Killah (1-1) taking on Hiro Myag i (0-0) @Super heavy weight. Both fighters have a solid chin so it should be a gooder! Myagi started the fight determined to get into a clinch so he could unleash those dangerous knees of his but when he got there he couldn't land anything and ended up cut from an elbow by Killah finally after some back and forth Myagi landed a vicious knee to the head cutting Killah, Myagi was looking gassed about a minute in. The fight lasted another minute with Killah defending everything Myagi threw at him and picking his spots to land some devastating elbows of his own, opening the cut bigger and bigger. At 2:14 of round 1 the ref called the fight.
Winner: TKO cuts Bee Killah

The next fight between Lan Mandragoran (2-0) and Phil Blaze (0-0) @ light heavyweight. Both these guys have heavy hands. The fight started out with both fighters exchanging blows pretty evenly for the first two minutes then Blaze started to gas. Blaze got chopped down by a low kick and for the rest of the round Mandragoran used him like a soccer ball basically kicking him around the ring with impunity avoiding most of Blaze's strikes.
About a minute into the second round we see our first clinch of the fight and Mandragoran owns it sending knees and a few elbows crashing into Blaze. A knee to the head rocks Blaze and from there it wasn't long till another knee took Blaze out.
Winner: Lan Mandragoran TKO Knee

Next up Kris Thompson (0-1) V. Alistair Overdragon (2-0) at middleweight. This fight was a quick one. Overdragon got the clinch just after the opening bell, pushed Thompson to the ropes and 8 punches later this one was in the books. Might be worthy to note that the next day Thompson's manager walked out on him leaving him in the lurch.
Winner: Alistair Overdragon TKO Punch

Asoki Sakiro (3-5) V. Connor Jones (0-0) at Middleweight should be a good one. The fight starts and Sakiro cuts Jones with the first strikes landed. Sakiro then proceeds to punch Jones around the ring for a bit Clinching and breaking Clinch effortlessly Jones gasses about 1:30 in and then Sakiro nearly kicks his head off.
Winner: Asoki Sakiro KO Head Kick

The next match features Ranko Zupan (0-0) V. Travis Davis (1-0) both these heavyweights are excellent boxers with heavy hands. The match starts quickly and Zupan is busted wide open in the first few seconds looks like he'll be wearing a crimson mask for the rest of the night. Both fighters then go wide open for a bit missing more strikes then they hit but the fans are loving it anyway! For the next few minutes both fighters swing wildly at one another Davis is hitting a few more strikes than Zupan. Maybe some blood is obscuring Zupan's vision. About 7 minutes into round one Davis starts to look tired but he keeps up the onslaught still swinging landing a few here and there while doing a nice job of avoiding Zupan's clinch attempts. Davis easily wins the first round. The second starts out with more of the same. Failed clinch attempts by Zupan and wild striking by both fighters. A couple minutes into the second round Davis lands a nice punch that opens Zupan's cut a bit more. The rest of the round is more of the same... punches in bunches. Zupan looks like he's going to take control of the fight a few times but Davis fights him off remaining in control throughout. He wins the second round as well though it's closer this time. Zupan finally gets his clinch early in the third round but almost immediately breaks it. Then he takes control of the fight for about 30 seconds before Davis pops him in the beak putting an end to that. The match then continues with Davis scoring the majority of the strikes and winning easily by decision. Zupan got punched in the head 52 times in this fight and was still standing, Talk about tough. 309 total strikes thrown 89 landed for about 25% accuracy. This fight was also fight of the night for good reason what a war!
Winner: Travis Davis Majority Decision

The next match is a Light heavyweight fight between Turbo Lard (2-2) the World Class boxer and John Barnes (2-0) The MT expert. Right out of the gate Barnes goes for a head kick and falls over allowing Lard to land a nice punch combo a jab and a devastating head kick that sent Barnes into convulsions
Winner: Turbo Lard TKO Head Kick

Next we have a heavyweight bout between Tak Sin Thanarat (6-4) and Mitkhun Chakraborti (6-4). These two fighters won the fans over in the first minute with their wide open striking exchange. Just after the one minute marker Chakraborti lands a head kick that sends Thanarat to the canvas for a nine count and opens a gash on his head. A flurry of strikes from Chakraborti is avoided by Thanarat until a vicious one-two combo gives Thanarat a standing eight count. As soon as they start back up Thanarat is dropped again by a head kick for a five count that rocks him. That's three knockdowns in a minute and the next one's not far behind as Chakraboti hits a beautiful combo sending Thanarat to the mat once again. One minute later Thanarat finds himself on the mat yet again from another big combo. By now Thanaret's cut is literally gushing blood and it takes only one more head kick to end this one as the fans go crazy for these two.
Winner: Mitkhun Chakraborti KO Head Kick

The next match is the Middleweight title match between challenger Harvey Prince (6-5-1) and Champion James Jones (11-0). Jones has been victorious in his last 5 title defenses, winning them all by TKO and is ranked #1 in his weight class and #5 P4P. This match starts out deceptively even for about 10 seconds as the fighters exchange blows then James Jones hits two hooks, a body kick and a big combo that just flicks Prince's lights out. Jones then threw his mouthpiece into the crowd (Saw it on E-Bay for $10,000)
Winner (And Still Champion): "Sweet" James Jones TKO Strikes

Up next the Co-Main Event a heavyweight title fight featuring champion Jim Kelly (8-1) and challenger Dennis Alexio (9-1). Kelly starts out with a kick and gets two in return. Then there's a brief flurry of strikes back and forth that all miss them BLAMO! Head kick and Kelly's down until nine. Alexio tries another head kick that misses then drills Kelly with a right hook that has him down for the count and we have a new heavyweight champion! Alexio then thanked his sponsors Down Under Supplements.
Winner and New Heavyweight Champion: Dennis Alexio TKO Head kick

And now *Dramatic Voice* ON TO THE MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING a Welterweight title match featuring the challenger Andy Stone (17-16) and Champion Ruben Wiki (14-4) in Wiki's sixth title defense. Stone was totally ineffective in this match not landing a single strike, Wiki bobbed and weaved and cut Stone with a straight right hand. Wiki kept kicking and peppering Stone with punches until a huge head kick and Stone falls down faster than a whore's drawers in a "highlight reel KO" by the welterweight Champion. 1:38 seconds of work and Ruben Wiki retains his welterweight championship. Ruben was sure to thank his sponsors TFP Graphics - Pit Inc. This fight was KO of the night.

Well guess that's it for this week, two successful title defenses, and one new champion. A fight with 3 knockdowns in a minute, one manager abandoning his fighter and many other highlights. Special thank-you to London exchange for partnering the event and an invitation to join us Feb 5th for Dynasty 58: Sagat V. Bruce. Also please note that Dynasty Bookies is giving odds on the outcomes of Dynasty 58 so please bet to raise the rating of the show.
