Fighter profile of Henkka Reem by Hank MoodyBlues

Henkka "Leka" Reem (191119) Succesfully defends the title

Henkka Reem defended his title the second time against Tony Brown in their rematch UPF-H 40: Weekend of FireWorks.
The last fight between Reem and Brown went on for almost full five rounds of groundfighting war before Reem managed to
lock in an submission. This time the match took a different path.

Q: There were a lot talking back and forth before this fight and Tony said he was going to go after you
like it was a street fight and that he was going for finish. Did you believe that he was being honest ? And
how did you feel when he was really coming at you when the fight started ?

Reem: I felt that the last time his strategy didn't work so naturally you have come up with something new.
This time he chose the other ultimate and decided to go for a finish despites that opens you up for mistakes.
I was ready and I knew he would try to knock me head clean off and if that wouldn't work for him, I was sure he
would takedown and give his best attempt. I felt relaxed when I he fought the way I anticipated.

Q:It over pretty fast when you two hit the ground and you got him in an triangle choke at 02:32 at first round.
Give us your thoughts about that.

Reem: He really went for submissions and sweeps this time and he didn't hold anything back. He wasn't playing it safe.
And when you consider the fact that I'm the better grappler from two of us, it's pretty much playing russian rulette with
a pistol, you can tell youself that you have a chance, but there's just no way in hell you'll make it.

Q: You now have nine wins that have all come by submissions, mostly chokes I have to add. What does the future hold
for Henkka Reem ?

Henkka: Right now I have a contract for three more fights at the UPF-Hilo, after that I'm considering every possibilities.
I would like to keep winning of course, but you can't find new lands if you ship never leaves the harbor.
I'm trying to prepare myself for a long journey.
