It´s me again - Luka Winner! Hope you are ready for our next SPNY event. This time, lightweight title is on the line! SPNY 101: Peltier - Westside. New York is ready so let´s start with preview. And yes, feel free to use smack talk thread or event discussion to say what you think about the matchup or this preview, make things more interesting around here...

Our Main Card of the evening!

1)MAIN EVENT

``Activist`` Zane Peltier (Rec. 19-5) vs Teddy Westside (Rec. 6-2) - Title, REMATCH, fight in lightweight division. You won´t find this kind of fight everywhere! You all must be waiting for this one!

Zane is the SPNY champion! He is black belt fighter and his last two fights were won by the way of submission! Last time he finished Teddy with Kimura. This time he will look for the same tactic, to get this fight on the ground!

Teddy is very promising SPNY fighter. He got his first title fight after only 6 fights! This loss versus Zane was the only real loss. He is better stand up fighter than Zane but he must find the way to keep it standing! He is 10cm higher and that will make his goal even harder. I believe he learnt something from their last fight, but will it be enough?

Winner´s Prediction: It is hard to have opinion that Teddy will win because he already lost to Peltier. It didnt pass much time from that and I´m not sure if Teddy is ready yet. Of course, this time it will be harder to keep the belt, but he will! ``Activist`` Zane Peltier wins via submission!

2)CO-MAIN EVENT

``The Cuban Connection`` Julio Madrigal (Rec. 14-6-1) vs ``Wolf`` Jon Leloup (Rec. 16-6-1-2NC) - This is the co-main event in welterweight division! The winner of this one is potential title contender so don´t go anywhere, YOU DON´T WANT TO MISS IT!

Julio has two wins in SPNY! He is an awesome black belt BJJ guy with outstanding wresling. This combination of BJJ and wresling makes him the nightmare for every of his opponents! He needs to take this to the ground, what I really think he can!

Leloup is former welterweight SPNY champion! Now he came down to 155lbs and will try to take the belt. He will be 10cm higher man in the cage. He is better boxer for sure and wants to keep it standing! He has NEVER been submitted in his career! Will this statistic change?

Winner´s Prediction: I think Madrigal should win this on the ground and look for a title fight against another great BJJ fighter (If everything goes as I said!). He is little better well rounded and he should take thi one! ``The Cuban Connection`` Julio Madrigal wins via submission!

3)``Jumalauta!`` Rauno Repomies (Rec. 20-11) vs ``Iron`` Angus Troyer (Rec. 15-8-1) - Very close fight. Expect fireworks in stand up bout!!

Repomies has big experience in SPNY. Those were all great fights with great fighters. He wants to stand and throw punches! He is almost 20cm higher than his opponent and that gives him great reach
advantage.

Troyer is also a stand up fighter, but this time he could go to ground just to surprise his opponent! He has only a decision losses, and even 12 (T)KO victories! The way of finish could depend on the chins of fighters and he has no (T)KO loss. He fought in smaller organisations and this will be his SPNY debut. Must leave an impression, even if he lose!

Winner´s Prediction: Rauno´s SPNY experience should help him in this fight as he already fought some of the best fighters in the world!! I will give him this one, but I´m really not sure. ``Jumalauta!`` Rauno Repomies wins via unanimous decision!

4)``Smoove`` Shaun Russell (Rec. 12-8) vs Austin Anderson (Rec. 6-3) - This should be fun light heavyweight fight. Tactics must be almost perfectly set to win. That´s the beauty of it.

Russell will keep this fight standing and make it interesting! Every second of it! He has 10KOs out of his 12 victories. He is SPNY veteran with great experience. He also has purple belt to keep his opponents away from takedown attempts
Anderson is boxer with awesome wresling background! He only wants spectacular fights with KOs as a result! He makes his SPNY debut which makes things even more exciting. I think I don´t have to say anything else! Watch him perform!

Winner´s Prediction: Russell has more ways to finish the fight, but it will be very close. I believe he had better preparation for the fight cause he is much richer man here. ``Smoove`` Shaun Russell wins via (T)KO!

Joe ``Not So`` Average vs M J ``Warbird`` Shain

Shain has maybe better skills, but he has all stand up victories.
Average already showed he can mix it up with his all kind of finishes. This ability to mix it up could decide the fight. Je ``Not
So`` Average wins via unanimous decision!

``The Rock˙n˙RollClown`` Doctor Rockzo vs ``The Flying One`` Altair Ibn La Ahad

La Ahad goes into this fight with low morale and that could be the reason for his 3th loss. Doctor is grappler and he wants the fight on the ground against, usually, strong stand up guy. I think Doctor can take the win. ``The Rock˙n˙RollClown`` Doctor Rockzo wins via submission!

Tarquin Fortune vs Mac Hansen

These guys are so close with their skills and that doesn´t put me in good position to make my decision. Fortune has only 4 fights and Hansen 40!! Only because of that I will give the advantage to Hansen. But, either way, there will be a knockout. Mac Hansen wins via KO!

Inigo ``Fogo`` Guerra vs Jamal White

Guerra has better BJJ and wants it on the ground and Jamal wants it standing. Even Guerra is great BJJ guy, he hasn´t any submission victory. Because of that, I think Jamal will pull this one off. Jamal White wins via (T)KO!

Jason Aldean vs Rasquel ``Premier Inn`` De Angelo

The bout between rookies. Jason´s hands are better, but De Angelo has more ways to finish the fight - going to the ground. Rasquel ``Premier Inn`` De Angelo wins via unanimous decision!

Mikey ``Hand GRnade`` Taylor vs Kolby Myres

Another rookies bout where we can expect everything. Kolby is a lot better stand up fighter and I don´t think Taylor has the power to take him on the ground! Kolby Myres wins via KO!
