UPF-M 10: All the Marbles was a mixed martial arts event held by Ultimate Pit Fighting on July 27, 2013 at The Underground arena in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Before I begin this writing, I want to give a big congratulations to our two new undisputed champions: Sal Langreck is the light-heavyweight champion and Ronald Rousey is the welterweight champion. Great work, guys!

-[Light-heavyweight Championship bout]: Sal Langreck versus Philmore Butts

-[Result]: This second meeting between the top two strikers of the light-heavyweight division was even more exciting than the first! On top of his incredible Jujitsu advantage, Sal Langreck easily outstruck Philmore Butts at every turn. Philmore Butts truly had no answer for the well rounded game of Sal Langreck but he kept pushing forward to throw one more strike until the final bell. Sal Langreck def. Philmore Butts via Unanimous Decision (50-45, 50-45, 50-45) to become the undisputed UPF light-heavyweight champion!

-[The Victor]: Sal Langreck is a home grown superstar. All four of his professional fights have been under the UPF banner. He holds a perfect 4-0 career record and until this recent fight, he had never gone the distance before. He has displayed amazing knockout power and his ground game is among the best in the organization as well.

-[Heavyweight bout]: Carter Wang versus Cigano Da Silva

-[Result]: Carter Wang locked in the clinch and immediately forced the takedown. He began hunting for a submission which allowed Cigano to escape back to his feet. For the rest of the fight, Carter Wang desperately tried again and again to bring the fight back to the ground. However, Cigano Da Silva landed ample punches and combinations that put the hurt on Wang. Cigano Da Silva def. Carter Wang via KO (Strikes) at 1:29 of round 2.

-[The Victor]: Cigano Da Silva snaps his two fight losing streak and wins his UPF debut in exciting fashion! Cigano Da Silva's career record stands at 6-2 with half of his wins coming via brutal knockout.

-[Heavyweight bout]: Paso Leati versus George McFly

-[Result]: In a matchup between a grappler and a boxer, the grappler prevailed. Paso Leati avoided the strikes of George McFly, brought the fight to the ground, and almost immediately locked in the fight ending submission hold. McFly had no answer for Leati on the ground. Paso Leati def. George McFly via Submission (Anaconda Choke) at 1:25 of round 1.

-[The Victor]: Paso Leati has won three straight fights since signing with UPF. He has displayed an incredibly well rounded game. Against Shine Like A Diamonds, Leati landed amples strikes that stunned and stopped his foe. And now in his most recent fight, he displayed a dangerous submission game as well. Paso Leati is becoming the fighter to watch at heavyweight.

-[Middleweight bout]: Biggie Shackleton versus James Abs

-[Result]: Biggie Shackleton dominated the fight using offensive wrestling and brutal ground n pound that rocked James Abs in the first round. James Abs had no answer for him. Biggie Shackleton def. James Abs via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 30-27, 30-27).

-[The Victor]: Biggie Shackleton won his UPF debut here. In the regional circuit he had gone 1-1. He outworks opponents using takedowns and ground n pound. His fight with James Abs perfectly encompasses his style.

-[Welterweight Championship bout]: Bear Stevenson versus Ronald Rousey

-[Result]: Undefeated Bear Stevenson gets the clinch immediately to start the first UPF-M championship affair. Stevenson connects with a short punch but pays for it in the form of getting pulled on top of the young Jujitsu wizard. As both fighters rolled for position, it became abundantly clear that Ronald Rousey was the more comfortable of the two on the ground.

Bear Stevenson managed to keep Rousey at bay in the second round and opened a cut on Rousey using his crisp boxing.

The third round was all Ronald Rousey. Rousey got the takedown immediately and ruthlessly rolled from submission attempt to submission attempt before living up to his name and catching Stevenson in a tight armbar that forced the tap. Ronald Rousey def. Bear Stevenson via Submission (Armbar) at 2:39 of round 3 to become the undisputed UPF welterweight champion!

-[The Victor]: Despite being only 19 years old, Ronald Rousey is the veteran of eight professional fights. He is currently riding a seven fight win streak with all of his victories coming by way of submission. Until he went into the third of five rounds against Stevenson, he had won all of his fights via first round submission. Ronald Rousey is 7-1, has an incredible chin, and is rumored to hit like a truck when he attempts such things.

-[Welterweight bout]: Matrim Cauthon versus Claudiu Sinescu

-[Results]: Despite getting battered and cut on the feet, Matrim Cauthon maintained his composure and scored two of his three attempted takedowns. Matrim Cauthon finished the fight with the first submission that he attempted – an armbar that tweaked the arm of Claudiu Sinescu until he was forced to submit. Matrim Cauthon def. Claudiu Sinescu via Submission (Armbar) at 4:20 of round 1.

-[The Victor]: When Matrim Cauthon came to us he was 6-1 in the regional circuit with a purple belt in Brazilian Jujitsu. After signing a contract to fight for Ultimate Pit Fighting, he studied hard and received his brown belt in Brazilian Jujitsu and has since gone 2-1. His sole defeat since signing with us has come at the hands at current welterweight champion Ronald Rousey. Can Cauthon prevail in a rematch?

-[Light-heavyweight bout]: Jack Tombstone versus Greg Giraldo

-[Result]: This was a very difficult fight to judge and still is upon a second reading. Jack Tombstone seemed to win the first round using his offensive wrestling and his aggressive striking. However, Tombstone seemed to tire midway through the opening round. What Greg Giraldo lacks in finishing power, he more than makes up for in durability. Over the course of the second and third rounds, Greg Giraldo turned the fight around using his aggressive boxing to out point Tombstone until the final bell. Greg Giraldo def. Jack Tombstone via Unanimous Decision (30-28, 30-27, 30-28).

-[The Victor]: Greg Giraldo has displayed an incredible chin and cardio level along with an underwhelming finishing power. With this win, he advances his record to 3-1 across two weight classes.

-[Light-heavyweight bout]: Luis Hernadez and Justin Johnson

-[Result]: The fighters exchanged strikes on the feet before Justin Johnson finally scored the takedown he had been seeking throughout the fight. Hernadez turned it around by locking in a tight guillotine and forcing Johnson to submit. Why white belts insist on taking down blue belts is beyond me but this really is a thing that happens. Luis Hernadez def. Justin Johnson via Submission (Guillotine) at 3:58 of round 1.

-[The Victor]: Luis Hernadez is riding back-to-back victories with a career record of 2-1. Despite being a young fighter, Luis continues to impress as he advances.

-[Light-heavyweight bout]: Lord Vladimir versus Michal Bicki

-[Result]: The exceptionally well rounded Lord Vladimir returned to the cage against promotional newcomer Michal Bicki. After an even opening frame in which the fighters felt each other out on the feet, Vladimir took Michal down with relative ease before setting up the submission finish. Lord Vladimir def. Michal Bicki via Submission (Kimura) at 2:29 of round 2.

-[The Victor]: Lord Vladimir has gone undefeated since signing with Ultimate Pit Fighting with all three wins coming by way of stoppage. He has displayed a supreme ability to gauge the weaknesses of his opponent and bring the fight there. He has taken fighters down or chosen to stand and bang with them, dependent on his own advantages over his foes. Maxwell Price has been guaranteed the next title shot but it's safe to assume that Lord Vladimir is within one fight of the gold himself.

-[Heavyweight bout]: Shawn Bhaltair versus Alucard Tepes

-[Result]: Shawn Bhaltair attempted to advance his UPF career by winning four fights in a row. He met Alucard Tepes, a dirty boxer and defensive wrestler. Alucard controlled the bulk of this fight by neutralizing Bhaltair on the ground and working him over from the clinch. It's from the clinch that Tepes scored the eventual TKO finish. Alucard Tepes def. Shawn Bhaltair via TKO (Strikes) at 1:47 of round 3.

-[The Victor]: Alucard Tepes advances his career record to 2-1 with all three fights ending in a stoppage.
