TTFC McGarrity Vs Leads

Event Preview: TTFC McGarrity Vs Leads
Team Thomas Fight Club
2013-08-31, New York, Credit Card Center
Author:King Scooby

Its showtime at TTFC meeting in New York tonight where we will look forward to the debut of The Soldier Reborn Sun Ra against the TTFC sparkplug Tyrone Tornado.

Sun Ra has an extensive title bolstering career before leaving VERSUS where he spent the majority of his time at the top of his class. He was able to put together a (25-12-1) record with 23 of his 38 fights going to the judges. This tells us one thing… defense is in his blood. His last fight ended in a scorecard loss where Mr Azure was able to add up points with aggressiveness specifically head striking . With Ra’s leg kicks and takedown defense he was able to prevent being taken down and being finished.

The Tornado made me a liar in his title bout appearance against chris mullen where he produced an exciting fight but seemed to be overwhelmed by the amount of different skills Mullen was able to use against him. His superior boxing skill gives him the opportunity to win any and every fight but this also causes a crutch as he is easier to predict. As I said before, Tornado had passed every test before Mullen and with 23 of his 31 fights finishing by decision, we can expect this to be a defensive battle leading to a decision. I predict Ra will be shocked by the skill Tornado brings and the Tornado wont let me down this time overwhelming Ra with punches for a victory.

Another title chaser by the name of Kearney McGarrity will continue to try and state his case for a title shot with Lester Cockenschtuff. He had to have been enfuriated to see Chris Webster, one of his previous victims, was granted a title shot against Cockenschtuff and ended up not boarding a plane to the fight. Rumors have it that he was subdued by TSA in the airport while others ensure he was simply “scared of the cock.” McGarrity on the other hand, dominated his last fight making Cain Colbert tap out with almost 3 minutes remaining in the first round.

Donald Duck Leads opposes him and has put together an impressive career but one thing that is NOT impressive is his record of (1-6) in title fights. He disposed of Hiranuka Stinaku by scoring points and being very accurate, in addition a great pull guard in GnP situations kept Stinaku from doing much after getting his takedowns. His last loss was by decision and was initially rescheduled with Chris Webster who once again did not make it to the fight this time using the oldest trick in the book, “my dog ate my homework.” When asked how it relates to the fight with Donald Leads, and if he was scared, he yelled “Im not answering any more questions! End of DUCK-scussion.” He later left the press conference with a round wet spot around his bottom. Leads will continue trying to make a name for himself but McGarrity will not be intimidated as Webster was, McGarrity wins this battle as well.

Undercard and prelim predictions are…
- Ballestrazzi defeats Chavez
- Larry David defeats Zell Dincht
- Osgar McGregor defeats Heavy Damage
- Jose Aldo over Roncesvalles
- Godeaux over Charles
- Lombard over Felizberto
- Happy Gilmore defeats Batman
And
Hoth over Huxtable
