Hello everyone, I know it's been a while, but it's me Fred Meyer. I'm going to give you a preview of the UPF-Hilo's upcoming event UPF-H 47: Mir Vs Potatos 2, which will be held at The Pipeline in Hilo. I don't know about y'all but I can not wait for this one. So without further delay time for the preview with my predictions of course. Haha.

Undercard:

Our first fight of the night is in the middleweight division.
"IRONMAN" Jeremy Kroft Vs Nick "Lightning" Testa.

The well rounded Testa will face off against KO artist Kroft. Kroft comes in with the edge in experience. But Testa comes in with the better ground game. Can Testa get Kroft to the mat to work for a submission? Or will Kroft score another head kick victory?

Prediction: Kroft via head kick round one.

Second fight on the undercard is in the bantamweight division.
Long Dong Vs Ray Gustavo

This is a jujitsu Vs wrestling match up as Dong puts Gustavo's purple belt to the test. Can Dong use his superior jujitsu to get the tap? Or will Gustavo use his wrestling advantage to score a "W"? Or will they both decide that they can not achieve a victory on the ground and bang it out?

Prediction: Dong via submission (kimura) in round two.

Third fight on the undercard is a light-heavyweight bout.
Willie Leak Vs "The Scimitar" Yunus Abshir

These two are really close on paper with Abshir having the edge in skill but Leak has more experience. Can Leak use his experience to pull out the win?

Prediction: Abshir via Unanimous Decision

The last fight on the undercard is a heavyweight bout
Caco Antibes Vs Eric "Marvelous" Osiris

Antibes will have a tough fight in Osiris. Osiris will be looking to get revenge for his first loss to Antibes.

Prediction: Osiris via KO round two

Main Card:

Alright now for the first fight on the main card. Another light-heavyweight bout
"Bruiser" Sheng Jen Kuo Vs Janathan "The Terminator" Ho

This is a wrestling Vs Maui Thai match up with both fighters also holding a blue belt in jujitsu. Both fighters have right about the same experience in the cage with Ho having one more fight but Kuo holds onto two more victories. Can Kuo out wrestle the Maui Thai Ho? Will Ho get into the kicking mode and see a KO?

Prediction: Kuo via submission round three

Fight two on the main card, light-heavyweight bout
"Man Of War" Hugo Llorente Vs Tommy "Bane" Riordan

Bane will have possibly bitten off more then he can chew by accepting the fight against the former champ. Hugo is coming off of two losses, his only losses, and will hungry for the win.

Prediction: Hugo destroys Bane via KO in round one

The third main card bout is another heavyweight bout
"Big" Duncan McAlister Vs Ichabob Crane

This battle of the beasts should be fireworks. Both fighters have the skill to finish the fight at anytime. On paper McAlister appears to have an advantage but that has never stopped Crane in the past.

Prediction: Crane pulls off upset via Unanimous Decision

The final main card fight a welterweight match up
Declan McCready Vs Charlie Sheen

The former champion McCready will take on one of UPF-Hilo's best strikers in sheen. Sheen has proven he can stand and bang with anyone. But his ground game needs work. Has Sheen improved his ground game enough to be a danger to McCready on the mat? Or can Sheen just KO the former champ? Will the former champ decide that Sheens stand up game is overrated? Or will he take it to the mat and test Sheens submission defense?

Prediction: Sheen via KO round one

And now for the co-main event of the evening, a light-heavyweight bout to determine the #1 contented in their division.
Mao "The Emperor" Zedong Vs Wayne Pearson

Zedong probably is favored in this one even though Pearson is the former champion. Zedong has the advantage in experience overall but Pearson has the championship experience the Zedong is working on. This one really could go either way. Pearson is a sensational boxer, will he score a KO over the ground fighter? Or will Zedong use his black belt to get a submission victory?

Prediction: Zedong via submission (RNC) round two

And now for the fight you have all been waiting for. Our main event, a heavyweight title fight.
"Mr. Sub of the Night" Frankestein Mir Vs Jack "Your" Potatos

This is their second fight. In the first fight Mir won but only by decision (unanimous) Potatos will be looking to avenge his loss and get his belt back. Can Potatos overcome the monster that is Frankestein? Or will Mir get another victory and remain undefeated within the UPF-Hilo?

Prediction: Mir via Unanimous Decision

Well that was all the fights on this weekends card. If I didn't get into enough detail on your fighter I'm sorry. Haha. It should be an exciting night. So tune in and see if my predictions were even close, which I doubt. Haha. They never are. Haha. Anyways until next time, I'm Fred Meyer signing off.
