Taj al Din vs AJ Hearts

Fighter profile of Taj al Din by Chris Karter

"The Tasmanian Devil" Taj al Din (41-7-0) WC #2 P4P #4
vs
AJ Hearts (25-4-0) WC # 4 P4P #23

SPFT Champion meets Ascension's Champion at SPFT 129: Hearts vs Din . Most of the readers are thinking, Taj al Din vs Who & Where? A perfect example of Chris Karter can crushing at it's finest! We caught up with "The Tasmanian Devil" and he answered a few questions for us regarding his upcoming fight on a different stage than Ascension.

Q: You're coming off a 7 fight win streak which ended with you reclaiming your title from your arch nemesis and successfully defending it twice in less than one week. How does your body feel after 3 fights in such a short time frame?
Taj: Better than it has in a long time. Training can be enduring. In the gym, you can break mentally if you push yourself too hard. In order to fight and train successfully for as long as I have, to stay on top of your game, you can not burn yourself out. Push yourself, but don't break yourself. It's okay to take a few too many to the head in practice and take a breather to shake the cobwebs out.

Q: For the first time in your career you're fighting in London at the Wombley Arena.
Taj: I am use to fighting in front of large crowds, but I am excited about fighting in front of the European fans. I'm expecting the stands to be filled with a bunch of booze fueled soccer hooligans that just stumbled out of some pub. Hopefully we can satisfy their thirst for blood and violence.

Q: What are your thoughts on your opponent, A.J. Hearts?
Taj: He's a tough opponent who will fight until he's stopped - something that's not easy to do. I respect him, but I intend to destroy him.

Q: Your team mate and training partner,Moses Diggs, just lost to your opponent after knocking him down early in the first round. He failed to put him away. He's not the first fighter from Convicted Fight Club that he's defeated. He out struck Greece's Kick Boxing sensation Leonidas Katsaros.
Taj: I'm going to wear metallic blue gloves that look like recycling cans with recycling logo's. No matter how many times I get taken down, no matter how many times I get put in a bad position, it's important that I remember he's a can and I can knock him out or submit him.

Q: It seemed like Pat McDermot was intent on avoiding a fight with you for a long time before agreeing to fight anybody from Convicted Fight Club unless Don Marciano accepted a fight with Rostam Samani. Don Marciano accepted that offer and he restructured the deal replacing Samani with Christopher Samba. Chris Karter and Marciano accepted these terms. Pluto Palhares is getting the fight with Pat McDermot. Does this bother you?
Taj: Pat publically ducking a fight with me a dozen times, and failing to maintain a consistent win streak, eliminated him as a potential opponent. I am not a bully and will not pick on a fighter who is scared of me. His manager stated I only wanted to fight him because the game engine favors me. So I have nothing to prove by defeating a fighter who has already beaten himself mentally, I'm a gentleman and a professional and I don't want to beat a broken fighter. Pluto Palhares however, he's not such a nice guy, and Marciano and Karter insisted that Pluto be the fighter to strangle Pat into retirement because I have bigger and tougher opponents ahead of me. Our camp is expecting McDermot to use this interview as an excuse to duck Pluto Palhares, who he already agreed to fight if Don Marciano fights Christopher Samba, but if he's that bothered by this, then after his match with Pluto we can fight any time he wants, any city, any org, any rules. We can fight in his backyard, his gym, or in the jungle.

Q: You are an Ascension legend. You're a superhero over there. The greatest champion in the history of their organization. Your next fight is in the Steel Penn Fighting Temple organization for their Light Heavyweight title. They're not as popular as Ascension and some fans think this will be detrimental to your career. What's your opinion on the matter?
Taj: Like it or not SPFT is a top 5 organization with top 10 talent and they're hosting PPV's on one of the biggest stages in the world. It's a golden opportunity to keep me active and avenge some losses, for my manager it's a chance to add another belt to Convicted Fight Club's wall of championship titles.

After Taj departed in a classic display of Karter-ism his manager, Chris Karter, took the mic and showed up with an tough looking entourage consisting of Apollo Jackson, Magnus Barfot, Zeus Zorrander, and Marko Kesikov.

Chapter one. The new beginning of a new book... There have been many great comebacks throughout history. Jesus was dead but then came back as an all-powerful god zombie. Reggie Bush had his ups and downs, but is now back, and better than ever.

Well, my comeback is almost complete, and I can say that when it is complete, it will shake the pillars of this land, or town. My story is the story of a raging Christ figure who tore himself off the cross and looked at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said "my turn now, c*cksuckers."

He threatened to give us golden showers if we didn't mention that he grabbed his nuts, flicked off the camera, and dropped the mic after his speech. It's obvious that all eyes will be on Chris Karter and Taj al Din's fight with AJ Hearts will be ignored.
