Yrjo Jarvinen (48334) is an elite fighter currently contracted with Gamma (GEG) - one of the oldest and most respected organizations in the mmatycoon world. When he signed with Gamma, he started out in Gamma: Battleground and immediately proved his worth by making his opponent tap out with some vicious ground and pound. After the fight he got a promotion and is now set to fight in Gamma (GEG).
Q: first of all, thank you Mr. Yarvinen for taking this interview on short notice, I know you have a very important fight coming up soon, but I’d like to know something real quick. What do you have in store for your opponent?
Yrvo: I’m going to show the world that I’m still in my prime. I am an elite martial artist and I’m going to prove it again and again, no matter how many times I get knocked down I will get up again better than before.
Q: As you just said, I know there’s a lot of rumours going on that you’re too old, is that what you’re feeling too?
Yrvo: I am not too old, I’m 34 years young. I will beat my opponent on the 17th and I will do everything in my power to be a champion before I retire.
Q: How can you be so confident that you will be a champion at your age knowing that the last time you fought for a title you were 21 years old in an organization that doesn’t even exist anymore.
Yrvo: There’s a good reason for that, in all my years of being a professional martial artist I’ve been represented by five managers already. That inconsistency played a big role in my career and defined me as the fighter I am today. Right now I’m in a spot where I can be proud of myself whether I win or lose. I don’t have to prove anything anymore, the only thing I want to do before I finish my career is to compete for that belt one last time.
Q: Thanks for the interview and I wish you luck in your next fight.
