The budding rise of the Untouchable Fighting League is continuing as UFL 2 has come to town and Paddy O'Malley's Bar in Amsterdam will be hosting the event that will continue the rise to the top for UFL. Once again the card is stacked with ten great fights and this show will once again blow the roof away as the Cage Gladiators square off in the middle of the octagon as UFL 2 is here. The action will certainly be highlighted in the main event where Heavyweight Talents Fabricio Werdum and Magnus Holmstad go head to head in a bid to get closer to a shot at the vacant title! UFL 2: No Mercy is a show you must not miss!
Main Event of the Evening: Heavyweight Division: "Tap You Out" Fabricio Werdum (2-0-0) vs. "Viking" Magnus Holmstad (1-0-0)
The Main-Event of the Evening will be a Heavyweight match up in what can easily be described as the ultimate test of styles as 2-0 Werdum faces off against 1-0 Magnus Holmstad. Both fighters will be looking to continue winning here as Werdum walks in as the ground specialist with great wrestling skills and also great BJJ skills as he looks to take the fight down to the ground early on and force a submission on his foe. But Magnus Holmstad in the other corner is a great stand up specialist with dangerous Muay Thai and Boxing skills and if he can keep the fight standing he could walk out with a KO victory. But Holmstad has a dangerous ace up his sleeve as he also has a degree in BJJ and you can wonder what this means if the fight goes to the ground. Certainly an interesting fight as either winner will want to get further in a bid for the vacant Heavyweight title.
Co-Main Event: Light Heavyweight Division: Gay Jesus (1-0-0) vs. Guigi Hoihuio (1-0-0)
The Co-Main event of the night will be between 1-0 fighters Gay Jesus and Guigi Hoihuio. Both fighters will want to emulate their success in their debut fights by adding a winner, and both will be fighting their hearts out knowing that one of the two will get their first loss. Jesus goes into the fight as a man with deadly punching skills as he showed in his debut where he won by splitting his opponents face open and making him a bloody mess. But Jesus also holds some cross training experience in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as he is able to defend himself and even be a threat on the ground. Hoihuio on the other hand is no slouch either as he is a very effective Wrestler and Muay Thai specialist and he will surely be looking to get into a clinch and start abusing his opponent with knees and elbows but he also shines on the ground able to punish opponents with deadly ground and pound. One fighter will go 2-0 and one will lose his first fight, and it's going to be a hoe-down for sure.
Fight Eight: Middleweight Division: Tio "This is how we do IT!" Fame (3-3-0) vs. Samuel Zigurat (0-0-0)
Match three is a Middleweight predicament between Fame and Zigurat as both fighters will be looking to assert their dominance in their weight class. Tio Fame walks into the fight with the most experience as he comes straight out of K1 to test his mettle as a striker, his ground game might be lacking a bit but he more than makes up for it with deadly striking in both the clinch and stand up fighting. And he will be looking to get a win against the debuting Zigurat, Zigurat debuts into MMA tonight as he walks in with a boxing pedigree and also very good wrestling ability as he has the ability to go toe to toe with Fame and he will be looking to do so, but Zigurat has the ability to toss his opponent around with good wrestling skills and if he can get the fight grounded he might cause trouble for Fame as he can do some ground damage with punches in bunches. With two great strikers going head to head this will become a great fight with the potential to become a slugfest if both fighters want it.
Fight Seven: Middleweight Division: Beach Comber (0-0-0) vs. "The Blitz" Darius Smith (0-0-0)
Fight four is another Middleweight collision as two debuting superstars in Beach Comber and Darius Smith go face to face and this one has the potential to be a very good fight. Both fighters want to start their careers with a win and with such a clash in style it's to be seen who's style is better. Beach Comber walks in as the Clinch specialist as he has great Muay Thai skill and also the ability to use his wrestling skills to keep the fight where he wants it. He will be looking to put Smith into a clinch and unload with dangerous knees and elbows and demolish Smith. But Smith on the other hand has great Jiu-Jitsu skills and he wants to use those Jiu-Jitsu skills to bring the fight to the ground and lock in one of his great submission locks, holds or chokes. With the game plans of both fighters being reasonably obvious, MMA purist will have a great time in this fight as the old debate will be settled again in what is better Striking or Jiu-Jitsu?
Fight Six: Heavyweight Division: Leon "The Lion" Morrison (0-0-0) vs. "Bone Crusher" Anthony Sorensen (0-0-0)
From the Middleweights we go to the Heavyweight Division with another couple of superstars looking to score debut wins as Leon Morrison goes against Anthony Sorensen. ''The Lion'' is a deadly Muay Thai athlete looking to wreck his opposition with kicks, knees and elbows but he will look at a formidable foe in Anthony Sorensen who looks to unload punches in bunches and stay outside and circle around. With this fight almost guaranteed to stay standing this will be a fight about who can keep his game plan working. If Sorensen can keep the fight on the outside he can drop his punches on Morrison, but if Morrison gets into a clinch he can end Sorensen with his great knees. Both fighters have the ability to go home with a debut win, and surely both will be looking to do exactly that.
With 10 great match ups lined up for everyone this show is certainly going to be a must-watch for any MMA fan out there and if you want to watch 20 fighters leaving everything in the cage make sure you get to Paddy O'Malleys's Bar in Amsterdam on 10 March as UFL 2: No Mercy will be causing the roof to blow off!
