Author:Jonah King

Hello again fight fans Merlin here, and it is time for the exciting Satuarday night Fallen Champions fight card, and the Hardknocks arena is sure to be hopping when the fans get to see this great night of fights that Mr King has set up for them. 2 Titles will be on the line plus the ex Champion Mike OMalley, and some top contender fights. Lets get the action underway......

170lbs-Greg Madison(7-2)(0-0)vsParvati Mellia(1-1)(1-0)-Madison by (t)KO in 2nd Rd

185lbs-Javier Casados(8-11)(1-3)vsRafael Silva(4-4)(4-3)-Casados by SUB in 1st Rd

265lbs+-Jim Dandy(6-4)(5-4)vsMatthew Lucas(5-2)(1-1)-Lucas by SUB in 2nd Rd

205lbs-Method Man(11-5)(0-1)vsThe Steel Penn Alliance(4-3)(2-1)-Method Man by UD

205lbs-Diego Russell(6-4)(6-3)vsDale Williams(4-4)(1-3)-Russell by SUB in 1st Rd

145lbs-"Sir"Tristan Blancheflor(6-3)(4-1)vsMartin"Jackhammer"Daskalov(3-1)(1-1)

In our opening fight of the Main Card we have two Featherweight warriors, who are still looking to make a name for themselves among the rest of the FC roster and while a win in this one match prolly won't accomplish that task it will be a step in the right direction. Sir Tristan Blancheflor started out his career as a pure submission artist, but has quickly adapted to the Wrestling game and that work has showed off with the increase in his successful takedownattempts. Martin Daskalov stubbled in his FC debut, but bounced back with a nice Triangle victory in his last outting and hopefully that will boost his confidence going into this one. Martin is pretty well rounded, but theres not one area of his game that really stands out so I'm sure that makes him harder to gameplan for. I think that Tristan's Wrestling will be the difference maker, and he'll land a big double leg early but Daskalov has some underestimated grappling so he may be able to work something off of his back.

205lbs-#8.Barret The Turk(6-4)(1-0)vsTyson Kahn(5-1)(1-0)

Next up we have two up and comers in the Light Heavyweight division and the winner will get himself in contention for the Title. Barrett The Turk is a 24 year old Muay Thai expert with some of the nastiest kicks in the division, and he uses them to brutualize his opponents legs and ribcage which eventually slows them down and enables him to take over with his busy style and crisp Boxing. Tyson Kahn is young, brash, and has the world at his finger tips. He has a solid chin and knockout power in both fist, combine those with he's amatuer Boxing background, and you have a powerhouse striker. This one is sure to turn into a back and forth slugfest, and both guy's chins are sure to be tested. I think that the kicks of Turk could be what helps him earn the victory, because if he tears up that lead leg of Kahn he is going to have a hard time putting the same power on all of his shots. If Kahn can get on the inside and work Turk's body over early he may be able to win the stamina game and take control of the center of the Ring.

145lbs-#7."Irish"Mike OMalley(10-6)(8-3)vs#8.Uebishe Lesnoe(7-0)(0-0)

We have two of the top 10 Featherweights doing battle in this contest, and the ex Champion Mike OMalley needs a win to get out of the slump that he has been in lately dropping 3 of his last 4 contests. Mike OMalley is a FC legend and at the still young age of 23 years old that is a statement to his drive and determination, and the future looks bright for this young man. Mike has a very well rounded skillset, and is equally as dangerous standing or grappling on the mat, and with all 10 of his victories being by stoppage he knows how to be a finisher. Uebishe Lesnoe is an undefeated and very highly thought of young prospect, and a victory over the ex Champion would be a great statement to make in his promotional debut. Lesnoe like to use his pretty descent striking game to set up his takedown attempts, but once the fight makes it to the floor there are not too many grapplers that can compete with this high level Black belt. On paper this two are pretty even skillwise, so it could very easily come down to gameplan and who comes in the best prepared. I have a hard time picking against Irish though as he has been one of my favorite fighters since he came into the org.

145lb Championship-C.Michak Ropuia(13-7)(6-4)vs(#7 P4P)#1.Craig"Cee-Chop"Clendennon(12-1)(2-0)

In our Co Main Event of the evening we have the Featherweight Championship on the line, as the 2 time Champion Michak Ropuia will look to rely on his World Class Grappling one more time. Michak is a nasty Black belt and nothing will make him happier than to claim his 13th submission victim and defend the strap that he holds so dear. Ropuia doesn't try to hide his gameplan at all, because he doesn't want to strike, he doesn't want to clinch, he wants to get his opponent on the mat. Once there, he is relentless with his attack, constantly looking to improve his position and looking for openings to lock up one of his nasty submissions. Craig Clendennon comes into this one on an 8 fight win streak, and with that kind of momentum Craig may just run through his opponent like a mack truck. Craig likes to lead with his brutual leg kicks then slowly pick his opponent apart with his descent Boxing. He is going to want to keep this fight at distance and stay away from the takedown attempts and out of his only danger in the one. If he can keep his composure even if he gets Michak rocked and avoid being overly aggressive and making a big mistake that could end with him being on the mat with the superior grappler, than he should be about to pick the Champion apart. I think that the strap will leave with a new Champion tonight, but this is MMA and anything can happen.

185lb Championship-(#8 P4P)C.Johnny Freedom(12-2)(2-0)vs(#4 P4P)#2.Bobby"The Black Knight"Bishop(12-1)(1-0)

And it is finally time for the fight that you have all been waiting for the Middleweight Championship is on the line in the 5 round contest between these two top 10 pound for pound gladiators. Johnny Freedom comes in on a 3 fight win streak including his last outting where he bested the ex Champion Genghis Khan in 5 rounds. He is equally as dangerous where ever the fight goes, he can beat you striking, in the clinch, and has the defence to stop your grappling game in its tracks, he is going to be a handfull for anyone in the stacked Middleweight division. Bobby Bishop is riding the hype train into this title fight on the heels of a 6 fight win streak and shows no signs of slowing down. He ran throw than top contender Chris Remnant in the first round in his debut and now sets his sights on the belt, and his camp believes he has the solution to the Freedom equation. Bobby has some sharp Boxing skills, but also is comfortable in the clinch, he isn't afraid to throw in a takedown attempt every now and then to keep his opponent honest. I think that these two will keep this one standing, and trade back and forth in what could be the early pick for fight of the night. Freedom may look to exploit Bishop's weaker clinch game and if he does its going to be an early night for the challenger as Freedom is an animal from with the clinch throwing a barrage of elbows, knees, and punches that will surely be too much for his opponent to handle. If bishop can keep the fight at distance he will have his best chance of winning, but I don't see the title changing hands this evening.

There you have it folks, WOW what a great mix of action, some new up and comers, some veterans looking to keep back on track, and some of the top guys in the org. This one is sure to be an instant classic, and I can't wait for it. I would like to thank our sponsor TFP-Graphics, and make sure to check in with Captain Lou for all of you Sponsorship and clothing needs.
