 CO MAIN EVENT TIME:

matt old vs delano thompson: this fight could be the number 1 contender fight for the winner of the main event title fight later tonight. judging by the advantages and disadvantages of both fighters, one would assume that the gameplan for both of these fighters would be the exact opposite. old will want to get the fight to the ground where he has the advantage and thompson will probably want to keep it standing will he should have an advantage. the fight will come down to if thompson can stuff the takedowns of old or not. in the past thompson has  showed great takedown defense, but when he has been on the ground, he has also shown a bit of a weakness for submissions. old is arguably the best jiu-jitsu guy thompson has fought and thompson has been submitted by lesser jiu-jitsu guys in the past. will history repeat itself and will thompson yet again be submitted and have to move to the back of the line? or has thompson fixed theese problems in his game?

PREDICTION: old defeats thompson by submission.

MAIN EVENT TITLE FIGHT:

angel toney vs mason kane: this fight is for the 170 title. i would give kane the slight advantage on the feet and would give toney the huge advantage on the ground: mostly because kane has never been on the ground because he usually knocks his opponents senseless on the feet early before they have a chance to take him down. will toney be the first person to put kane on his back and hold him there? or will he be yet another person to get clipped early on and finished? most of toney losses have been from ko/tko so one would have to question his chin and ability to take a punch. nobody really knows what type of ground game kane has because he has never had to use it. i think toney will be the first person to get kane to the ground but i dont think he will be able to keep him there and i see kane getting back to his feet and throwing down and landing big punches and i dont think toney has the chin to deal with the strikes of kane.

PREDICTION: kane defeats toney by ko/tko
