Light Heavyweight Championship
(Champ) Slick Customer vs. (3.) Ask Fairchild
Slick Customer is defending his tittle for the first time this friday after impressive KO victory over former champ Moses Sithole. Currently the biggest star in DFC is undefeated and he was also champion NWO NEW YORK and defended his belt 3 times before coming over to DFC. Customer had very tough childhood in terrible conditions, but now he has proven to one of the most talented fighters in MMA scene.
Ask "Fiend" Fairchild gained the tittle shot after getting 2 impressive TKO wins in DFC. After struggling to find notable organization he finally found home at DFC. His wrestling and ground and pound has been devastating so far in his MMA career, but he wants to become full all around MMA artist.
"I've been training my ass off for this fight and this will be great challenge for me. I like the fact that im underdog, so I can go all out without any extra pressure. I have nothing to lose and that makes me extra dangerous." said Fairchild in prefight interview.
It's very hard to say what could be Fairchild's key to victory because Customer has been so impressive all around. We will see in friday if "Fiend" is gonna be just a "walk in the park" for the champ.
Heavyweight Championship
(Champ) Coconut Sprinkles vs. (2.) Kelly Olynyk
DFC Heavyweight champ Coconut Sprinkles has been crushing his opponent over and over again. In his 5th tittle defence he will face young and hungry 19-year old american Kelly "The Big KO" Olynyk who wants that belt more than anything. Coconut has stopped his last 4 opponents in the very first round, leaving no doubt.
Kelly Olynyk is riding impressive 3-fight win streak. Most notable win in his career came in his last fight against former DFC heavyweight champ Daiki Hitoshi via first round KO. Kelly is wooping 26cm taller than the champ, so if he can use his reach and his exceptional muay thai, he could very well steal the belt. Sprinkles probably just want to get this fight in the ground because thats really where Olynyk has most holes at. Olynyk is underdog, but definately has the tools to KO the champ.
Heavyweight
(6.) Batou Otsuka vs. (3.) Felipe Francisco
In heavyweight division Batou "The Minotaur" Otsuka is facing DFC veteran Felipe Francisco just before the heavyweight title fight. Batou is 1-1 in DFC and is coming from 38 seconds KO victory. This 25 year old japanese will probably want to use his strong boxing and try to avoid getting in wrestling match with "O Grande".
Felipe Francisco is 8-fight DFC veteran with 6-2 record in org. His only loses has come to champ Sprinkles and former champ Hitoshi. Sprinkles was in fact his most recent bout, but he got TKO'd in first round in there. He is looking to rebound from that loss against Otsuka while Otsuka is trying to climb up the ladder all the way to the tittle. Francisco is so experienced in DFC cage and has won 5 "of the night" awards so its always fireworks when this guy enters the cage.
Lightweight
(11.) Mark Satorzoda vs. (5.) Jim Jabber
BJJ specialist Mark Satorzoda will get his rematch vs. Jim Jabber in LW division. Satorzoda made his MMA debut in Destiny 17 vs. Jim Jabber, but that time Jabber caught the rookie in just 9 seconds. Mark is probably keen to show that inexperience and jitters were the factor in there. Mark is 2-2 in DFC but he is just 19 years old so he has plenty of years to improve.
Jim Jabber is one of the early days DFC veteran with already 6 fight in the organization. This former number 1. contender got tittle shot vs. "Arm Collector" but came out short that night. After that he lost to Tonnie Mazloum, so he really need the W this friday. Jabber has very interesting statistic in his career so far, he has never ever gone past 1st round so his cardio and stamina tanks are yet to be tested. Jabber probably wants to keep the BJJ specialist on his feet and pick him apart.
