Bantamweight Championship

(Champ) Kenshin Yamamoto vs. (3.) Piotr Bukowski

Kenshin "Kid" Yamamoto has been dominating bantamweight division in DFC since the very beginning of the organization. Yamamoto is 7-1 in DFC and the only loss he has is against Piotr Bukowski and they will meet for the third this saturday.

Their first bout was in Destiny 19, where Bukowski shocked the world by winning the bantamweight tittle from Yamamoto via unanimous decision. Yamamoto was saying that there was a lot of things going on his personal life and he couldnt properly focus on that match.  Yamamoto got rematch right away because he was champ for so long. The 2nd clash ended in 02:35 Round 2 when Yamamoto mounted and ground and pounded TKO victory to get his tittle back. After that bout Yamamoto has defended his belt twice vs. Buhay and Bariga.

In pre-fight interview Yamamoto sounded confident and motivated.

Kenshin: (Through Translator) "I feel mentally prepared for this fight. I have the strength of my ancestors spirit flowing through my veins, I will fight hard and I will win this fight and redeem myself from the shame of my first defeat. I just want to thank everyone who helped me prepare for this fight. My coaches, my team, my sponsors at "buriedALIVE" and my family who keeps me strong. Thank you everybody, I will bring the belt back to Japan with me."

Piotr Bukowski has been waiting for this chance a lot after losing the 2nd bout. He has now deserved another crack for the tittle getting 2x first round finishes over Orlando Menez and Carls Classic. Former Champ "Alpha" Bukowski is 5-1 in DFC and according to betting odds Bukowski is actually favourite over the champ, so many people believes that Bukowski can get the job done again this saturday.

Bukowski also  gave us quick interview about his upcoming bout:

"Kenshin is the only fighter in the 135 division who has my respect. I am not going to back up, I want to give fans great fight, get back my belt and prove that I am the best fighter in the whole division"

Featherweight Championship

(Champ) Edward Flores vs. (3.) Hanz Titties

Fresh featherweight champion Edward Flores claimed his tittle from Hanz Titties in Destiny 31 via very controversial majority decision. Many people and media members though Titties won that fight, but judges saw the bout 48:48, 47:49, 47:49 to Flores who walked away with the belt on his waist. Shortly after the match it was clear that Titties will get immediate rematch.

Flores is still undefeated in his MMA career with rec 4-0. His biggest weapon is his exceptional, but he is also superb wrestler. Flores is almost 10cm shorter than Titties so using the deadly muay thai is not easy task when Titties has big reach advantage. He really need impressive victory over Titties to gain fans respect after that controversial win.

Titties was very dissapointed after losing his tittle in fight that he thought he won. Titties probably will do everything in his power to finish this time. Titties is 4-1 in DFC and the first fight vs. Flores was his first tittle defence getting the tittle from Frank Benoit. Stakes are high this saturday and hopefully we'll get clear champion this time.

Bantamweight

(2.) Bagong Buhay vs. (4.) Mark Bariga

3rd rematch in main card will be between two top bantamweight contenders. Bagong Buhay is coming from quick submission victory. Before that he had shot for the tittle but came short versus Yamamoto when he lost via unanimous decision. He is very close to get another crack for the tittle but first he needs to get past Bariga who just lost to champ also. Buhay is underdog, but this dangerous BJJ brown belt can submit anyone in the division.

Mark Bariga is coming from dissapointing loss to champ Yamamoto and he is looking to get back to win column. Bariga is also trying to get back the loss he suffered vs. Buhay when they faced for the first time at Destiny 13, when Buhay submitted him in the first round. Bariga definately wants to keep this one on feet and use his exceptional boxing to KO Buhay.

Welterweight

(3.) Lerry Sancio vs. (5.) Masaru Shimabukuro

In welterweight division former champion Lerry Sancio is getting back in the action after losing for the 2nd time against the champ Tennant. Sancio has never loss non-tittle bout in DFC and he is focused to keep that statistic alive. Sancio has good stand-up skills so he probably gonna go for the knockout.

Masaru "Lightning" Shimabukuro is fighting 2nd time in DFC. He lost to John Dux via 2nd round TKO in his DFC debut. This 21-year old japanese is favourite according the odds and that pretty suprising, because of the fact he is 0-1 in DFC, but many people saw potential in him to beat Sancio. Shimabukuro's muay thai is wonderful, but he is also  proficient wrestler so he is not rookie in ground either.
