(Champ) David Tennant vs. (3.) John Dux
"The Doctor" David Tennant is going to defend his belt 3rd time this saturday when he faces young upcomer John Dux. 27-year old british has finished all of his tittle bouts via TKO so his remarkable boxing along with strong wrestling are the keys to his success. Tennant is 178cm tall and his opponent is wooping 196cm tall, so Tennant might have hard time finding the range against the giant.
John Dux has just 2 MMA fights and many people were suprised when he got the tittle shot. Both of those victories came via 2nd round TKO. Dux is very well-rounded fighter and fans around the world have been very impressed. Dux might be inexperienced but still mma analysts has been saying that Dux is the hardest contender Tennant has faced and majority of the analysts actually favours Dux to win this fight.
We got chance to talk with the challenger in pre-fight media day. This is what John Dux had to say to the reporters: “ It is an honor to be competing for a title so early in my career. I want to thank the big man, Wessel Error for giving me the chance to challenge Dave Tennant for his title. He has a lot more experience than me and has showed what he is good at, and frankly, he will be my biggest challenge in my young career so far. I however feel confident that I have a great shot at taking the belt away from him. I am confident in my skills and know what I am capable of. With the guidance of John Hetfield and all the fighters at Reign in Blood, I feel prepared and feel great going into the fight. I am looking forward to becoming the next champion and do my best to become one of the top stars in Destiny FC. Thank you for your time. ‘’

(2.) Frank Benoit vs. (9.) Josihiro Akiyama
Former 2 time FW champ Frank Benoit has been going through tough times lately. He is coming from 2 losses and really needs to get back in the winners path this saturday. Benoit will have dangerous task ahead when he debuting japanese. Regardless of the 2 loses Benoit is still ranked 2. in FW division and he is hungry to get the belt for the 3rd time. Benoit is known for his wrestling but dont be suprised if he keeps this one on feet.
Joshiro "The Dragon" Akiyama will make his MMA debut this saturday and straight away he got matched against former 2 time champ. Akiyama has strong BJJ background and this dangerous brown belt will try to make Benoit to tap. According to rumours around him his stand-up skills are pretty useless, so getting the match to the ground is the only way for him to get W. Akiyama is big underdog in this fight.
Lightweight
(3.) Tonnie Mazloum vs. (6.) Jimmy Belingon
One of the most interesting fights in Destiny 36 is definately the clash between lightweights Mazloum and Belingon. They are both undefeated and they are both 20 years old. Mazloum is 3-0 in DFC and he was offered tittle shot after his last fight but he decided to wait little bit longer before challenging the champ. Mazloum has finished all of his 3 bouts via TKO, so his wonderful boxing and strong wrestling are his biggest strenghts.
Belingon debuted in Destiny 32 against DFC veteran Naya Shinoki and shocked the fans by kneeing Shinoki to the canves in 2nd round. After the first bout there has been alot of hype around Belingon's exeptional muay thai so Mazloum must be ready for his dangerous clinch game. If "The Silencer" can get W in this bout he is definately in the mix for next tittle shot.
Light Heavyweight
(10.) Aatish Sunuwar vs. (3.) Ask Fairchild
Another promising prospect Aatish Sunuwar will make his 2nd appearance against former 1. contender Ask Fairchild. The 20 year old Nepal native Sunuwar might just be ranked 10th, but many people still thinks he is favourite to win this bout. "The Monk" debuted in Destiny 31 against Chuck Lee and took impressive TKO victory in just 45 seconds. Sunuwar has very big opportunity to leap up in the ranks by winning Fairchild.
Ask Fairchild faced the LHW champ Landon Austin in his last bout, but the champ was way too strong and finished him in the first round. "Fiend" is 2-1 in DFC. His 219cm tall frames makes him scary looking guy and Sunuwar will be 20cm shorter, so Fairchild will need to use his reach advantage if he plans to keep this one on the feet. Fairchild's wrestling and G&P has been his strongest weapons, but he really needs to rethink his gameplan when he faces BJJ brown belt.
