GAMMA#377 McGinley VS Peace

Global Association of MMA, Fight Organization, London
Company profile by Mentor Guru Corleone

Wombley Arena, London, 1st March 2014

GAMMA is opening its doors once again for a huge night of Mixed Martial Arts with some of the top fighters in the world today. Just over 93,000 fans will be crammed into one of the biggest arenas in the world to see the debut of one of the badest men on the planet so tune in and enjoy the pain.

MAIN CARD

Main Event

Anderson McGinley (17-4-0) vs Restin Peace (16-2-0)

Making his debut in GAMMA on Friday, McGinley is one of the elite Super Heavyweights in the world currently sitting at #3 and will surely propel him to number 1 in this organization. On a 8 fight winning streak he will be full of confidence on his debut. The former HEROIC champion has a staggering 82% TKO/KO record from his wins so guess what folks somebody comes swinging. All thought the strongest part of his game is stand up, he is also a brown belt in BJJ that has helped him get out of some sticky situations in the past.

Coming of a TKO strikes win in his last fight, Peace will be looking at working his way back to another shot at the title were he fell short last time. One of the top performers in the division he will test the new boy to his limits. With only 2 losses on his record this man thinks he should be ranked higher and probably should be, a win here tonight will send him up the rankings not just in GAMMA but at world level to. Again an outstanding puncher 87% of his 16 wins are by TKO/KO.

PREDICTION: This is a really tough one to call. I would not miss the birth of my child for this one. Im going for KO in round 4 McGinley the winner.

Co Main Event

"Ak-47" Kalesh Nikov (22-13-0) vs Paul "PJ" Jones (23-12-0)

Coming into his 13 GAMMA fight he could be seen as a veteran but Nikov is still only 31. Performing at this level for such a long time some people were wondering if it had taken its toll on him but he has proved them wrong racking up 3 straight wins and surely will be in title contention if he picks up the win here. He has a strong all round game and knows how to win a fight when they are close Nikov will be up for this.

Jones Winning 5 of his 6 fights in GAMMA and also on a 3 fight win streak he will feel the same as Nikov, a title fight is looming. With his last two fights going the distance he will want to end this one as quick and as painless as possible. People have been saying he’s been working on his Muay Thai running up to this fight as in the past it was seen as a weak point that opponents could choose to exploit.

PREDICTION: Another close one but i think Nikov has the experience and will take it on a Decision.

Aleksanteri "The Siberian Bear" Karelin (15-7-0) vs Cinder Smaug (14-6-0)

Another debutant tonight at Heavyweight this time. Karelin has a very bright future in the sport, at the age of 25 has just signed for one of the biggest orgs in the world, has suffered 3 losses in a row and bounced back so has experience also knows how to get the job done. I’m predicting big things for this lad. He has an all round fight game and has finished his last two opponents of. He will be looking to star this new exciting chapter of his career with a big win.

Smaug Winning in his first 4 fights in GAMMA his career was looking bright until that fatal day when his flight got cancelled because of the volcanic ash cloud and missed his flight to an event he promised to be at. Hes had a stuttering return since that day with 2 wins and 2 losses and coming of a loss people are thinking is his head still in the game. His manger and trainer assure me that he is and is working harder than ever to recover the form that had started his GAMMA career so brightly. With a 92% KO/TKO ratio he certainly has the tools to get back on that steam train straight to the title but it all begins here he is back a the bottom and needs to start climbing.

PREDICTION: I think its going to be a disappointing debut for Karelin. Round 1 TKO Smaug the winner.
