HFC Fight Night 15

Event Preview: HFC Fight Night 15
Hopkins Athletics Fight Club (210k+)
2014-02-26, London, Hayashi's Lounge - London
Author:Junboy Romero

Good evening to all of the HFC fans in London! And fans around the world! Hayabusa's Lounge will be rocking once it gets filled with screaming fans! As the excitement for this action packed event builds on! Get ready for HFC Fight Night!

We are here to give you some appetizers on what to come in this wonderful event!

Starting off the event, we'll have

Piotr Jawinski v Socially Awkward Penguin

Piotr Jawinski, a great wrestler and holds a brown belt at BJJ, looks to get back in the win column against Penguin. Piotr is very dominant early in his career going 7 straight wins. But after that, he sputtered out in a 6 straight losing streak. You gotta think after starting off very well, why he suddenly fell down. The manager change might affect the way he fights. But maybe we'll see his old form in this fight against Penguin.

Penguin on the other hand is a seasoned veteran and the more experienced fighter. He cannot seem to build momentum after winning 4straight he lost 2 straight. SAP will be looking to continue the losing streak of Piotr by using experience and knowledge. It would be Young Gun v Veteran in this match. Very intriguing.

Dixon v Clegane

Merle Dixon, a young terrific boxer who dominated 2 of his opponents as he finished them in the very first round in terrific fashion! Dixon is very explosive and it is shown in his quick disposal of Mikkel Anhoej as it took only 20secs to finish him.

Gregor Clegane in the other hand is in a 2 figt losing streak and will look to bounce back after his submission defeat against Zam Bam. This fight is between 2 amazing strikers and both chin will be tested. It will be interesting to know who will come out swingin'!

Sung Sang v Ron Fiddle

Sung Sang a well-known submission artist love to take it to the ground! Sung Sang is coming off a vicious defeat from Big Thump, he'll try to forget that and focus against the challenge ahead to try and nab that victory.

On the other hand, fiddle coming off an amazing win against Clegane. Fiddle is an amazing striker with an amazing TDD. He have bomb like hands and if you let him caught you, you're lights will be out. It will be interesting to know who will dictate the pace of this fight. If sang can take fiddle down and hold on to top position, he can get the nod on the cards. But it's unlikely to happen because of Fiddle's amazing way of standing up once taken down. I think I'll go with fiddle in this one.

Takeru v McDougall

Mochi Takeru a striker and holds a Purple Belt in BJJ have heavy hands, but 2 of his wins is by Submission. He opens his submission after he unloads those bombs of a hand of his, it's not the conventional way to do it, but it worked for him twice. His striking defence and his chin will be tested against John McDougall who is a very decorated stand up fighter, can do boxing, have amazing MT skills and an amazing wrestler. McDougall is a very strong man, and only got KOd once in his career, his striking is exceptional as well, and if he lands a couple of strong shots, I think it is enough to win against takeru. Takeru's chin is not that great and it is proven in his previous fights, so I think it'll go for McDougall.

Rutger Snabel v Ali Khan

Snabel will have his toughest fight yet as he'll be facing against the former title contender Ali Khan. Snabel is a technical striker who has accurate shots and a decent wrestler; he needs to come up with a solid gameplan against Khan in order for him to get the victory. Khan in the other hand will be looking to regain his former contender form and break his 3 fight losing streak. Khan is an excellent wrestler but needs to develop his striking to be back in form again. He'll need those strikes against Snabel because Snabel can cause some damage from the stand up and in the ground. It'll be interesting who will dictate the pace and who will come out swingin.

Co-Main Event

Eugene Elephant v Zam Bam

Eugene Elephant, is a very talented young man for his age. He's already a well-rounded fighter and he's on a roll winning 6 straight and all by way of (T)KO. He is as strong as an elephant and precise as a hawk and if you receive multiple punches from this kid, it's over. Zam Bam in the other hand will be grinding this one out as he needs to take this to the ground in order for him to win. Bam will look to continue his run and with a win against a solid contender, he night be next in line against the champ

Main Event

Halo Olah v Cassius Hunter

Halo Olah! The champ will meet Cassius Hunter again for the third time in HFC's main event! Olah, is been dominating and is now in a 6 fight win streak. His loss to Hunter fuelled him up and turned him to an animal! Stopping 7 opponents by way of TKO! Olah is a freak of nature and is a well-rounded athlete, he's well prepared and ready to end this trilogy with a win and still with the belt around his waist.

Cassius Hunter on the other hand, says he feels better than ever and he'll regain his title against Olah. Hunter is a very good Submission artist for his size having 6 wins by submission. His talent in BJJ is what keeps him apart from other fighters in the HFC and if he can take this fight to the ground, his chance to win is very high! This will be an exciting fight to watch ladies and gentlemen. You don't wanna miss this out.

Closing fights

Jasper Cox v Phil Davis

Jasper Cox is a sensational MT artidt and an amazing striker, will face the veteran Phil Davis. Cox is trying to get going once again after winning 8 straight wins; he's 1-2 in his last 3 fights. Amazingly, all his wins are by way of (T)KO. He is a devastating striker and Phil will look to his experience against the younger Cox. Phil will prefer to stay on the outside against the more powerful Cox and will need to mix it up if he wants to get the victory.

Rashad Neji v San Pedro

The last fight in our event and it can end up with a bang. Both fighters are in the peak of their career as they would try to build momentum and make their case for a title shot. Both fighters are experienced and are very good. This will be an interesting fight as it could go either way.

We hope you enjoy the appetizer for HFC Fight Nights! This is an event you don't want to miss! You better stay tuned as it'll be on Feb 26! Be there! Good night ladies and gents.
