GAMMA#379 St Juste VS River 2

Wombley Arena, London, 8th March 2014

GAMMA is opening its doors once again for a huge night of Mixed Martial Arts with some of the top fighters in the world today. Just over 93,000 fans will be crammed into one of the biggest arenas in the world to see not only one but TWO GAMMA title fights.

MAIN CARD

Main Event

170lbs Title

Renan St Juste (33-9-0) vs "Black Water" Cole River (23-2-1)

In this eagerly anticipated rematch between these two St Juste will go in to this one full of confidence. After winning the first fight between these two and has just avenged his loss by winning his title back. This guy has had quiet a story overcoming cancer and has regained his title what a man. With 6 of 7 of his last fights going all the way he will be looking to end this one as soon as possible like in his last fight.

With a draw and 2 wins since losing the Title to St Juste, River will be on a high and looking to prove last time was a fluke and get the 170lb title back. With the majority of his wins coming via decision he will all so be looking to end early and prove the doubters wrong who say he lacks the killer instinct to finish a fight.

PREDICTION: If both guys come out swinging this surely will be fight of the night. River to win by Decision.

Co Main Event

155lbs Title

Karl "The Hurricane" De Groot (45-17-0) vs Sick Puppy (17-8-1)

De Groot a legend in MMA former #12 in the world will be looking to scale them heights again and a win here tonight will see him slowly rise again. The 35yr old is competing in his 3rd defence of the 155lbs title. This man always comes with a strong game plan and is defiantly a 5 round fighter.

Puppy already in his career has held the 155lbs title in two other organisations but has never been in with someone like De Groot. He wants this title bad so he can start his own journey to the top. A fantastic all round finisher needs to be careful he doesn’t let the occasion get the best of him and performs to the highest level.

PREDICTION: Another awesome fight produced by GAMMA. I think it’s just too far out of reach for Puppy and De Groot will win by Decision.

Also Featuring:

185 lbs Billy Blanks v Puff Dragon- Round 1 TKO Blanks
265+ lbs Marcel Clasie v Yrjo Jarvinen- Round 2 Submission Jarvinen

GAMMA#380 Kenichi v Sabonis

Wombley Arena, London, 9th March 2014

GAMMA is opening its doors once again for a huge night of Mixed Martial Arts with some of the top fighters in the world today. Just over 93,000 fans will be crammed into one of the biggest arenas in the world to see their favourite GAMMA superstars go toe to toe.

MAIN CARD

Main Event

Kenichi "The Strongest Disciple" Shirahama (25-10-1) vs Arvydas Sabonis (22-10-0)

Shirahama coming of a super fight win will be looking to get himself another title shot with a win here tonight. The submission specialist who also has heavy hands and basically one of the best all round fighters we have here in GAMMA. Needs to get himself up for this fight and not take it to easy. Im sure he will try take it to the ground and make his opponent cry.

With a stuttering start to his career here in GAMMA with 3 wins and 2 losses Sabonis will be looking to build on his impressive TKO victory from the last fight. Every time he has stepped up for the title in a big organisation he has fallen short. He’s now looking to gain form and get a good run going to go into a title fight and prove all his doubters wrong.

PREDICTION: Close fight but I think Sabonis will take it by TKO in round 2

Co Main Event

Machi "Murray" Machiko (25-11-1) vs “Big Bad" Mk Ultra (38-17-1)

The two new signings for GAMMA have the co main event spot. He has never really been settled but Machiko is hoping to make GAMMA a successful home. With a 68% KO/TKO Win ratio it’s easy to see why Gamma have signed him.

Ultra a 56 fight veteran has decided to steer his MMA path to the top to GAMMA. A former VERSUS Champion knows what its like to be in the spot light and wants that feeling back. He will be looking to keep this one on his feet as he has never submitted anyone in his MMA Career.

PREDICTION: Ultra will have to much experience in this fight and will take it on Decision.

Also Featuring:

265+lbs Jt Colossus v Gabrie-l Gzrel Round 2 KO Gzrel
265+lbs Marcus Ulpius Traianus v Yuri Rook- Round 1 Submission Rook
155 lbs Ba Lil III v Larry David- Round 3 Submission Lil III
205 lbs John Galt v Harry Potter- Decision Potter

265+lbs Marcus Fenix v Scott Norton- Round 1 TKO Norton
185 lbs Ivan Drakkar v Eric Lawson- Decision Lawson
265+lbs Raoul Duke v George Foreman- Round 2 KO Duke

Ladies and Gentlemen that is all there is to report on for this weekend’s GAMMA. Look forward to an Exclusive interview with some of GAMMA’s Superstars. That’s all folks.
