Welcome to our inaugural event,
So let us get starter;
I will be previewing the main and Co-main:
The Co-Main Event:
Jose Dimagiba (7-9-0) vs Daniel Hart (9-12-0)
This bout seems to be a new take on striker vs grappler,
Jose will be looking to keep the fight on the outside with the kicks and maybe engage on his term to utilize his expertise in the clinch by means of his elbows,
Daniel will look to fire back from the outside also using his kicks but I am sure that will just be to catch Dimagiba flat footed so he can take the fight to the ground and show the true worth of his brown belt.
I believe this fight will end quickly with either a submission or a TKO, and unfortunately for Daniel Hart,
I believe it will be a TKO in the first to Jose, and I would say due to elbows
The Main Event:
Mauricio Calvancante (11-8-0) v Alex Kowalski (3-3-0)
In our first ever main event we will have another striker vs grappler affair
Both fighters coming off losses I am sure they would both want to get back to winning ways,
The heavy handed Alex Kowalski will no doubt love to keep the fight standing and on the outside so he can show us his wonderful boxing skills.
This will be difficult to do against a grappler with Mauricio’s pedigree, he’ll be looking to tie him and drag him to the canvas and then go to work with his superior grappling skills,
Contrary to the Co-Main I believe the grappler will take this one due to his superior wrestling,
Mauricio will take it via first round Submission
Event takes place 14 March 2014; Hilo-Micro Arena
