Welterweight Championship
(Champ) John Dux vs. (1.) David Tennant
John Dux was able to take the tittle from Tennant in their last bout by unanimous decision and the former Welterweight champ got immediate to make sure Dux really has what it takes to be champion in Destiny. Dux is slight favourite going to this fight, but everyone knows he needs to bring his top game in the cage if he wants to defeat Tennant again. It's pretty amazing that this match will be just 4th in Dux's career so he is still very inexperienced, but its hard to argue that he is one of the most talented guy in Destiny FC roster. John Dux has been so focused in the fight week that he decided to not give pre-fight interviews anymore.
"The Doctor" David Tennant is looking to get his belt back this saturday. He was able to defend twice his WW belt before losing it to Dux at Destiny 36. Tennant was the first welterweight who was able to defend his belt, 3 champs before him were unable. It will be interesting to see what kind of changes Tennant has made to his game plan and has he found the keys to victory this time.
David Tennant was also very short with his interview, but he left mysterious message to fans when he shared few thoughts with us: "Dux is the best now. Its up to me to make sure he doesn't stay the best. I have my ways."
Featherweight Championship
(Champ) Edward Flores vs. (6.) Enrico Matta
Edward "Landslide" Flores is facing new fresh contender after taking the belt from Hanz Titties and after defending it in rematch against Titties. Flores won both of those two epic 5 round battles via decision. This saturday he is facing undefeated italian Enrico Matta. Flores is slight favourite going to this fight with his expectional muay thai and superb wrestling, but Matta is dangerous and hungry for the tittle.
Enrico Matta earned his tittle shot after winning all of his 4 fights via KO/TKO and only one of those fight went past round 1. He might not be as hyped as some of the other fighters in FW division, but its hard to argue that he deserved a shot after 4 straight victories. Matta is remarkable boxer and he really needs to use his boxing to neutralize Flores wrestling and muay thai. Matta isnt bad wrestler either, but Flores might just little bit better. There will be sweat and blood when these warriors collide.
Heavyweight
(7.) Valentin Nasimentu vs. (4.) Kelly Olynyk
Two big boys Nasimentu vs. Olynyk will battle before the tittle fights in heavyweight division. Valentin "Second After God" Nasimentu is coming from TKO victory over former heavyweight champ Daiki Hitoshi. He is 2-1 in DFC and has really good chance to climb up in the ladder this saturday. Nasimentu will be wooping 30cm shorter than Olynyk so reaching Olynyks chin wont be easy task in stand-up department.
"The Big KO" Kelly Olynyk got back in win column after losing his golden opportunity for the tittle. He is looking to grab 2nd win in row and get one step closing to get another crack for the tittle. Olynyk is slight favourite but if he sleeps on Nasimentu's skillset, he might find himself on the canvas very quickly. Neither of these guys havent gone past 1st round in their MMA career so dont blink, because this might be over rather sooner than later.
