Light Heavyweight Championship

(Champ) Landon Austin vs. (5.) Aatish Sunuwar

Undefeated LHW champion Landon "The Prince of Punch" Austin is looking for his 3rd tittle defence this saturday. Austin has literally destroyed every single one of his opponents and all of his 10 victories in his MMA career has been finishes and nobody has ever survived past 2nd round with Austin. Once again Austin will be favourite in this bout, but Sunuwar is dangerous BJJ black belt so I think Sunuwar wants to keeps this one on the feet because going to the ground would be unnecessary risk.

Aatish "The Monk" Sunuwar is 21-year old nepalese with BJJ black belt, but also superb wrestler and proficient boxer also. He only has 2 professional MMA bouts in his career and both fights took place in DFC. It's kinda interesting that he is BJJ black belt but both of his 2 victories have come via KO/TKO. Lot of fans have been saying that this is "gimme" fight for Austin, but if you trying to find weaknesses in Landon's toolbox its probably his BJJ. Austin is BJJ purple belt so if Sunuwar can get the fight to ground somehow anything can happen. Austin is 11cm taller so getting inside will be tough task for Sunuwar.

Heavyweight Championship

(Champ) Vincent Mars vs. (1.) Coconut Sprinkles

Vincent Mars shocked the world in Destiny 37, when TKOed the long time champion Sprinkles. This saturday Coconut will get his chance to show that the first bout was just occupational accident. Vincent has been on roll after suffering loss to Kelly Olynyk in his MMA debut. After that fight he has KO'ed all the opponents including Sprinkles. Mars will no longer be the guy with nothing to lose and I'm sure that Sprinkles will be as motivated as you can be to get back the belt.

Coconut Sprinkles is no longer undefeated and it will be interesting to see how the long time undefeated champ will rebound from the first loss of his career. Regardless of the loss, Sprinkles is the favourite according to MMA community but he really need to get fight to ground as often and much as possible. Mars is simply too dangerous on the feet and ground game is where Sprinkles shines anyways. Coconut got the immediate rematch so know he just needs to use this chance to regain the belt.

Welterweight

(4.) Jay Yap vs. (3.) Masaru Shimabukuro

Before the tittles bouts, the next contender for WW belt will be solved between Yap and Shimabukuro. Jay Yap fought for WW belt once already but former champ David Tennant ended that opportunity in under 2 minutes. He really wants 2nd crack for the belt and he started his way back to top by finishing Game Over via 2nd round TKO and winning Shimabukuro this saturday will probably get him back to number 1 contender spot. Yap is slight underdog, but if he can use his remarkable boxing, he definately has chance in here.

Masaru "Lightning" Shimabukuro is trying to earn his first tittle shot in DFC, he is former MZFT welterweight champ and now he is aiming for DFC belt. Masaru made his DFC debut in Destiny 31, but lost to reigning champion John Dux. After that fight he beat former champ Lerry Sancio and Josh Lebow via first round KO/TKO's. Shimabukuro has now chance to get hands on Dux again, but he needs to get past Yap before that. Both of these guys are just one step away from the tittle discussing, so saturday will show who wants it the most.
