Hey everyone, sorry for the late review I had a super busy weekend. We had some pretty good fights on Saturday and my picks were pretty good. I’ll have to keep this one a little short but here’s a quick recap of Saturday night.

Preliminary Bout Number 1 - Heavyweight Fight (265lbs)

Derek “The Boogeyman” Boogaard  Defeats  Vitvirivirit Minfirinfirivirk

Well, I was definitely right about this one, although it ended much quicker than I anticipated Boogaard destroyed Minfirinfirvirk. Boodgaard has been watching a lot of street fight and pulled off a huge uppercut that looked like a shoryuken earning him a KO at just 0:23 into the first round earning him the Knock Out of the night award.

Preliminary Bout Number 2 - Heavyweight Fight (265lbs)

Morum “ The Worm” Watanabei  Defeats  Toli Saleloyla

Another good prediction from on my end. I expected Watanabei to score a KO/TKO and he did, again quicker than I expected. Watanabei loves the clinch, and that was his weapon of choice this fight, he got in close as quick as he good at immediately started landing knees and elbows that cut Saleloyla open and after almost 2 minutes a huge kneed to the head sends Saleloyla to the mat, he manages to get back up quickly. Immediately he gets rocked and pulled back into the clinch, a few more knees to the head and he’s unconscious while still standing, the refs jumps in and ends the fight.

Preliminary Bout Number 3 - Bantamweight Fight (135lbs)

Jong Un “Gangnam Style!” Kim  Defeats   Mahamed “El Tigre” Berrou

Woohoo, three good picks in a row for me! Kim did exactly what I thought he would and came out striking early and hard, being very aggressive and landing all of his strike attempts showing amazing striking accuracy. Berrou manages to get a takedown but all he’s able to accomplish is a pass to full mount. He doesn’t stay active and the ref calls a standup. Berrou scores with another takedown but Kim shows great defense and Berrou gets caught slipping for just a second and Kim throws his legs up and locks in a triangle! Wow that was unexpected and that submission victory earned him the Submission of the Night Award.

Preliminary Bout Number 4 - Bantamweight Fight (265lbs)

Wannalikiliki “Nasty Boy” Mastinkistinki   Defeats  Renato Portaluppi

First four fights have been money for me “Nasty Boy” Dominated this fight, being much more aggressive and stuffing almost all of Portaluppi’s takedown attemps, and avoiding ALL of his strikes.

Every round was basically the same with Mastinkistinki going for and landing some takedowns and throwing in a few strikes just to mix it up. This earned him a unanimous decision win, in a pretty boring fight.

Preliminary Bout Number 5 – Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

Osvaldo “Mestre” Santos  Defeats  Ken Jacobs

Nice, I’ve called the first five fights correct! I’m starting to enjoy this and I think I’ll try to get up a bookmakers set so you guys can start getting some betting in. Osvaldo was able to get a takedown on his third attempt and after some work and one other sub attempt, he catches Jacob’s arm flailing around and pulls in the armbar winning him a submission victory as expected.

Main Card Bout Number 1 – Middleweight fight (185lbs)

“Coach” Gennero Ed  Defeats  Ill “Savin Lives” Boogie

Number six! Man I’m really locking down my predictions tonight, although Ed didn’t really use his wrestling like I thought he would, apparently he didn’t even need it. Boogie came out aggressive and landed a few punches until Ed took the fight into the clinch. Once they were there Ed used his superior strength to control Boogie at will and punch in in the head until he fell over, which didn’t take long. “Coach” picks up the win just 1:37 into round one.

Main Card Bout Number 2 - Middleweight Fight (185lbs)

Luke Rockstar  Defeats Kanaka "Bloodline" Roots

Well, I was mostly right about this one, which makes the first seven predictions right! Rockstar wasn’t able to seal the deal but he definitely controlled the fight, avoiding most of Roots strike attempts and scoring takedowns at will. They went the distance and Rockstar earned the unanimous decision over his opponent.

Main Card Bout Number 3 - Bantamweight (135)

“The Karate Kid” Daniel Larusso  Defeats  Francis “Wrong Way” Falkenrath

Eight in a row! Could I get a perfect prediction night? I sure hope so! The fight didn’t last nearly as long as I guess, Falkenrath failed with two takedown attempts and immediately after Larusso returns fire with a huge head kick, a punch and then a huge overhand right that sends Falkenrath face first to mat just 0:22 into the first round.

Co Main Event – Welterweight Fight (170lbs)

Travis “Exacto Knife” Sharpe  Defeats  “Crazy” Jose Gutierrez

Aw man, my first wrong pick of the night. I thought I guess Sharpe didn’t even need to rest before taking on Gutierrez, he came in looking very tired and getting dominated in the first round. In the second Sharpe got an early takedown and was able to connect with some ground and pound and keep the fight on the ground for most of the round, until the ref stood them up around 4:20 in the round and Gutierrez was able to take advantage of that and land a few strikes. The last round was basically the same as the second as Sharpe got an early takedown and was able to control the fight and land a lot of ground and pound. This continued the whole round with Gutierrez not able to do much against it. Sharpe got the win via unanimous decision 29:28.

Main Event - Lightweight Fight (155lbs)

“The Bad Guy” Razor Ramon  Defeats  Teryy “Boomer” Johnson

Got this one on the button too. Ramon used his wrestling and immediately scored with a takedown and did whatever he wanted, throwing punches and elbows and at 1:00 in the first round rocked his opponent with one of those elbows and followed up with some more punches, forcing the ref to end the fight at 1:22 in the first round. Ramon was very happy and thanked his fans at the end of the fight.

Well, I went 9/10 for predictions so I’m pretty happy with that. We’re slowly filling our arenas and don’t forget to come check out our next event on Thursday, where the 170lb Creation Tournament starts as 18 fighters square off to fight for the title and a good chunk of cash! As always thanks for being a part of a future legendary organization.

Almost forgot to mention, we’re still looking for a dedicated poster maker, if anybody has any creative ability feel free to contact me and see if we can setup some work.
