Heavyweight Championship

(Champ) Vincent Mars vs. (4.) Kelly Olynyk

The DFC heavyweight champ Vincent Mars is heading to his 2nd title defence. This 21-year old french was able to dethrone the former champ Coconut Sprinkles in back to back fights twice by TKO. Vincent can really call him as true champion now if someone doubted that after the first fight. Vincent is 5-1 in DFC and his first DFC fight and MMA debut was the same man that he faces tomorrow, Kelly Olynyk. Mars got knocked out in 2 minutes in that fight and now he really has chance to avenge that loss. Both fighters have improved since that fight but Olynyk might still have lil edge on feet and Mars has the edge on the ground.

Vincent Mars was fired up before the fight in pre-fight interview:

"I want to thanks DFC for giving me the opportunity to fight Olynyk again. He is the only blemish on my record and I've been waiting to right this wrong for a long time. I admit that he was much better than me the first time we fought, but this isn't the case anymore : I feel that I can beat him in the stand-up or on the ground, whenerver he wants it. DFC fans, expect nothing but a brutal finish in this one, I have a rendezvous with a cheeck right after the fight, and I don't want to make her wait... so I plan on a 1st round stoppage, then I'll put my belt on my waist, and i'll get on top of this whore"

Kelly "The Big KO" Olynyk is fighting 2nd time for a title in DFC. He faced the former champion Coconut Sprinkles in Destiny 33, but got tapped out via strikes in 1st round. After that fight he has 2 first round knock outs under his belt and the latest head kick KO against Nasimentu got him this title chance. This rematch is really interesting because the fact that Olynyk is the only guy that has ever beat Mars, but this time around he is going to this fight as a slight underdog. Olynyk hasnt been talking much about the fight and wants to just to focus on the task in hand, but he did say that: "I will be looking for "The Big KO"

Middleweight Championship

(Champ) Joe Pae vs. (3.) Odin Tualasamony

One of the most anticipated matches in DFC is happening tomorrow. The rematch between these 2 middleweight warriors. The champ Pae is defending his belt for 9th time already and that is beyond impressive. Joe Pae's story as middleweight champion is just unbelieveble and no matter what and who he faces he just wont give the belt away. Everybody remembers when he fought in back to back fights against Nari Vari and first bout was declared a draw and 2nd fight was split decision in favor of Pae. After that he won Chambers with head kick KO and kept the streak alive. Next defence and his latest defence was vs. Tualasamony and after 5 round war the fight went to judges scorecards and the first judge gave the fight 48-47 to Tualasamony, but the next two judges scored the fight 48-48 and once again Joe Pae keeps the belt via Majority Draw.

In whole DFC history there has been 2 draws and both happened in Joe Pae's title fights. Odin Tualasamony was so close to get another huge upset victory. Tomorrow he has 2nd chance to make his dream come true and let's hope we find the winner without any controversy. Nobody expected Tualasamony to get in title shot this soon when he entered DFC, but he has been finding the way to win time after time and if he could get the belt it would be another amazing chapter to another amazing story. Can we even call Tualasamony the underdog anymore? It's impossible to say what to expect about this fight but im sure it will be another great war.

Featherweight

(3.) David Perez vs. (4.) Edward Scissorhands

David "The Answer" Perez was offered a title shot after his last victory against Mauricio Jet, but he declined the fight because he is close friend with the former champion Edward Flores. As we know Flores lost his title last saturday and winner of this FW fight will most likely get next crack for the title so Perez has chance to get his hands on the belt if he can get past Edward. Perez is underdog going to this fight, but if he can get the fight in to ground I think he has edge there with his BJJ black belt.

Edward Scissorhands is making his DFC debut tomorrow. He is 5-2-1 in his MMA career and he brought the hypetrain with him and got number one contender fight right away. Edward is known to be sensational boxer and wonderful muay thai artist, so his stand-up game is one of the most dangerous ones in DFC roster. He is also has brown belt in BJJ, but I think he wants to keep this one standing because he has huge edge on the feet.
