Ladies and Gentleman, I am pleased to present the Reach 82 - Guns vs. Chihuahua preview. Set to take place in the Big Kahunarena on the 7th of April, this is a card not to be missed. I am Scarlett Slutje, and without further a-do, let's get to the card.
Main Event - Rudi Guns vs. El Chihuahua - 135 lbs title.
What a main event we have! Rudi Guns is one of best submission artists within MMA Tycoon. With a stunning 16 career submission victories to his name, not many can handle this brown belt veteran. Having won the title in his last fight vs. Kinjo Sasake - is this the beginning of a dominant reign? Having never lost by submission nor TKO, Rudi will be looking to maximise his defensive skills and then utilize his offensive wrestling and BJJ. Looking to put a short end to the title reign is El Chihuahua. Currently on a two fight win streak this sensational boxer will be looking to continue his recent run of good form and take home the title. Having been a long term title holder at EFC, El Chihuahua is no stranger to title gold. Wth 12 TKO wins to his name, El Chihuahua has some crazy hands. Despite the two fight win streak, and a title gold within his grasp, many have rumoured El Chihuahua no longer has the heart for MMA. With his moral running low for the fight, many have Rudi down to submit the former EFC champ with a devasting Kimura. Sadly, I have to agree.
Prediction: Round 3 - Kimura - Rudi Guns.
Co Main Event - Johnie Ballantine vs. Kaleki Oliweli.
Ladies and Gentleman - expect nothing less than a stand up war! With a mind boggling 36 TKO victories between these two fighters, the fans will once again be expecting yet another TKO ending. With 21 of them TKO victories - Johnie Ballantine is one of the best 205 lbs stand up fighters in Reach Promotions. But with a less than convincing chin, and low confidence, he isn't the best of fighters up against the cage. But with dynamite in his hands, he can't be counted out. Looking to add a 12th career defeat to Johnie Ballantine is Kaleki Oliweli. With 15 TKO wins so far. Kaleki is equally as powerful, and with Sensational boxing, he will be looking to once again stand and bang. With his only TKO loss coming due to getting caught by Lucretia Reflection - a defeat he later avenged his chin is most definitely granite. Will Johnie be able to swing leather and record yet another TKO win, or will Kaleki use his sensational boxing to yet again send Johnie to the mat? Either way, this should be one hell of a fight.
Prediction: Round 2 - TKO - Kaleki Oliweli.
Fight # 3 - Kenric Kyle vs. Bowman Dell.
Both fighters are currently on a three fight win streak, and with both fighters pushing for a title shot, myself and the fans expect them to bring it. Kenric Kyle an exceptional stand up fighter - with deadly ground skills. Boasting 6 TKO wins, and a submission win, he can finish the fight anywhere. Rumors coming from ONI Grappling Academy [CBK] fight camp say that "Big Sexy" Kenric will be looking for the TKO win. With a slight advantage in boxing, the rumour have leaned towards him using his boxing to out strike the challenger Bowman Dell. Bowman Dell is one of the toughest dudes in the 205 lbs weight class. With an amazing 13 fights going to decision - 11 in favor of Bowman, he is one gritty dude. And with an additional 7 wins coming by way of TKO's, he isn't no pillow fisted fighter. I expect Bowman to stick to the outside and through bombs and try grind out the victory. But, against an opponent like Kenric - I aren't sure this is possible. No matter what happens, I expect this will be fight of the night.
Prediction: Decision (Unanimous) - Kenric Kyle.
Fight # 4 - Kinjo Sasake vs. Sly Randolph.
Sly Randolph must be loving this match up. With superior stand up - there is no doubt he will look for an early TKO vs Kinjo. Coming off his debut Reach win vs. Vinny Vegas, Sly is looking to get his stop/start career back on track. With an amazing debut, fans are chomping at the bit to Sly back in action. With some heavy hands, amazing submissions and an epic name, he is a firm fan favorite. Looking to piss on Sly's fire is Kinjo Sasake. With a shocking stand up, yet truly amazing ground skills. Kinjo is one dimensional, but it works. Having 15 submission wins to his name, this Black Belt BJJ fighter has no mercy. His game plan is simply, get Sly to the floor and submit him. Will Sly's stand up prove to much, or will Kinjo show nobody has the skills to hang with him on the floor?
Prediction: Decision (Unanimous) - Sly Randolph.
Fight # 5 - Jeff Spicoli vs. Ragnar Danneskjold.
For the final fight on the main card tonight, we have the psychotic Brazilian Jeff Spicoli. Primarily a stand up fighter, he is a stand out boxer who can got the distance at punishing pace. Having lost his first two fights in Reach, Jeff is on the war path to get his reputation back. He made headway into that with a second round stoppage win vs. Aengus O'Donnell on the Thursday Throwdown IX card. In an interview to Reach Promotion TV, Jeff shouted down the camara "I best in world, I beat any man"" Slammed the camara to the floor and walked out. Looking to take on the mad man is Ragnar Danneskjold. With some of the deadliest G'n'P in Tycoon, Ragnar will look to destroy Jeff in brutal fashion. With 10 TKO and 10 decision wins to his name, he had crazy power, but can also go the distance. But with a chin that doesn't like to be hit, Ragnar may come unstuck vs. the Brazilian mad man. Sadly, I see Ragnar hitting the mat and seeing Christ the Redeemer statue circling about him.
Prediction: Round 1 - TKO - Jeff Spicoli.
On the undercard tonight:
Ty Angle vs. Bruce Banner.
King Kobra vs. Ivan Ko.
Mike Tyson jr vs. Franck Pompi.
Ejay Shazad vs. Tim Story.
Aaron McSlugg vs. Andre The Giant.
Thank you for reading. Scarlett Slutje, over and out. God Bless.
