A sit down with Brakeo SanchezFighter profile of Brakeo Sanchez byToday, I got to sit down with the “Whisper” Brakeo Sanchez and talk with him about his life, goals and achievements. When I heard that I would be conducting this interview I was very excited and I thought that I should share it with the MMA world. This guy is an animal when it comes to Muay Thai and right now seems unstoppable.When I walked into the coffee shop in downtown Rio De Janeiro I noticed him right away sitting in the corner enjoying a good novel. I sat down and said “Hey what’s up man” and he replied “Nothing much, Mr. Hawk! Just taking a load off before I have my second session of training today.” I then conducted my interview that I will be sharing with you all. Hawk “How do you feel about how far you have come in such a short amount of time?” Sanchez “Well to be honest with you, I go out every day to challenge myself and to become a better fight. My dad always told me that even though that you feel that you are the best, there is always someone out there training and becoming better than you. So I never forget that when I am training for my next fight.” Hawk “I know that you are like a diamond in the rough and how do you feel that affects you,…um, becoming a star in Rio?” Sanchez “When I was growing up and while I was in school I always felt that I would do something great with my life. I never thought that it would be in the cage, but I feel that I have made a good name for myself and my family. My father was a hard worker and never gave up. He provided for my brothers and my mother. He didn’t make much money but there was always food on the table and clothes on our backs so I really can’t complain.” Hawk “So let’s get down to the real question that everyone is wondering about! Where in the HELL did you get those nasty head kicks?” Sanchez “Wal-mart, laughs……,no…..I am just playing with you. I used to play a lot of soccer and my brothers and I always would see who could kick it farther. I am so competitive that I wouldn’t rest until I beat my older brother.” Hawk “So did you ever beat him?” Sanchez “…………………NO!” Hawk “Well I would like to thank you for meeting with me today so I could conduct this interview and hopefully we will see more of those nasty head kicks!” Sanchez “no problem Keith”
