Welterweight Champion

(Champ) Noob Saibot vs. (3.) David Tennant

The fresh DFC Welterweight champion Noob Saibot is set to defend his belt for the first time against former DFC champion David "The Doctor" Tennant. Noob Saibot made his DFC debut in Destiny 52 against former champion Dav Rolling and took the belt from him right away via 2nd round TKO. The champion really is unique character with his full face facial hair. Media tried to get some comments from Saibot about the match and suddenly Saibot appeared out of a cloud of smoke and said  "David Tennant... no mercy."  then he disappeared into a cloud of smoke). Things like that makes him so unique and the fact that he is man of little words isn't an issue in this case, because he always finds the way to deliver a show to fans, one way or the other.

David "The Doctor" Tennant is very familiar name for all DFC fans. The upcoming title fight this saturday will be Tennant's 13th appearance in Destiny FC. Tennant is now chasing the belt that once was his own. Back at Destiny 24 Tennant TKO'd Lerry Sancio and won the DFC Welterweight title. After that fight he defended the belt twice before losing it to John Dux. After back to back matches against Dux, Tennant is coming from 2 knockout victories. He TKO'd Jay Yap at Destiny 50 and then he knocked out Josh Lebow in number 1. contender match at Destiny 53. Tennant is the underdog in this fight, but if you'd have to pick one thing that speaks for his favor, it would probably be his experience. 29-years old with all that experience inside DFC cage, against 22-year old champion who is stepping inside the DFC cage for just 2nd time. The big age cap doesnt show in matches tho because Noob Saibot has just 3 fights less than the challenger.

(Vacant) Light Heavyweight Championship

(1.) Jimmy Dias Jimenez vs. (2.) Davide Dileo

DFC's Light Heavyweight division got really interesting when the long time champion Landon Austin who defended the belt 5 times decided to drop the belt and focus on training before heading to new challenges. The door is open now for new champion and Jimenez and Dileo will battle for the belt first.

Jimmy Dias Jimenez is actually just making his DFC debut this saturday and right away he gets a chance to win DFC gold. Jimenez is 23-year old colombian with 7-2 MMA record. Jimenez is very well rounded but 6 of his wins has come via knockout so if anything he posses the ko powers in his hands and he has devastating elbows in the clinch. Jimenez is slight favourite going to this fight, but Jimenez probably wants to keep this fight on the feet because even tho Jimenez is good wrestler he will face sensational wrestler in this fight. Both of the fighters are BJJ purple belt and neither one of them has submission victories in their records so it would be suprising to see these two in submission war.

Davide "Boosta" Dileo is undefeated 6-0 in his MMA career. Dileo is former Tokyo Tussle heavyweight champion with 1 title defend before the organization went down. Dileo made his light heavyweight and DFC debut at Destiny 52, when he finished Ask Fairchild by 1st round KO. So both of the guys are pretty fresh recruits in the organization. Dileo is coming from same camp with DFC Heavyweight champion Vincent Mars and DFC Middleweight champion Max Casacci so if Dileo can win this saturday the Black Manta gym would have champions in 3 heaviest divisions. Dileo has never gone past 1st round so cardiowise he isn't tested yet.

Featherweight

(5.) Edward Flores vs. (6.) James Ardona

Former DFC featherweight champion Edward "Landslide" Flores is looking to get back on the winning streak after 2 straight loses. Flores defended his belt twice before he lost it to Enrico Matta and now he wants to get back to title hunt. These two aren't probably strangers to each others because they are both coming from Philippines. Flores should have advantage on muay thai and Ardona should have advantage on boxing. Their wrestling and BJJ seems to be pretty even so Ardona probably wants to keep the fight outside and Flores wants to get inside and clinch to neutralize Ardona's sensational boxing.

James "The Filipino Pride" Ardona is one of many tough new comers in this card who makes their DFC debut. Ardona is 6-1 in his MMA career and all of his wins has come via KO/TKO. Ardona is 22 year old just like his opponent Flores. Ardona is 6cm taller than Flores and those 6cm might be important in this fight. His bio in his fight profile says: "James Ardona is a very classy guy in and out of the cage. His only weakness are ladies. He loves beautiful ladies. He is fucking as much as many beautiful and sexy ladies before his fight. He thinks sex is going to boost his performance. When he is inside the cage or ring, he will do anything to finish his opponent." Hopefully he finds some hot japanese chicks before the fight or maybe he brings some from Philippines.. who knows. What bugs me in that bio is that after all that talk about sex he says he will do anything to finish his opponent. I really hope that is related to fighting.
