Q & A with Evander Holyshit

Fighter profile of Evander Holyshit by Power Shark

Hello everyone this is Norman and I'm here today to interview current GAMMA fighter,  Evander Holyshit (36-21-1)

Norman:   I’d like to start off our interview by congratulating you on your latest victory, a Unanimous decision over rival George Foreman.   In your  first fight with Foreman he was able to stop you via TKO in the first round, in the rematch you dominated him for 3 rounds and had a close 4th round.   So what went different in this past fight compaired to the first fight?

Evander:  Ring rust was a big part of the reason I lost the first fight with Foreman, it had been over a year (gametime) since I had fought.   I was also just picked up from a new manager who was inexperienced with such a world class fighter like myself.   So there was a lot of variables working against me in that fight.    For the rematch I was much more prepared both mentally and physically, and my manager and I have become very close.  We watched the first fight a bunch of times as well as all of Foremans fights after that one and came up with a gameplan.

Norman:  Well it looks like that gameplan worked perfectly.   Could we see a Holyshit vs Foreman 3?

Evander:  Maybe should our paths meet in the rankings again, but as of now he has dropped 2 straight and I’ve won 4 straight so we’ll see what happens down the road.

Norman:  That does make sense.  This brings me to my next point, your have now won 4 fights in a row in GAMMA, which is no easy task considering the skill level of the roster.

Evander:  Yeah there are a lot of tough guys in GAMMA but your lookin at one of the toughest men on this planet!

Norman: Well I’m not gonna argue with you there.   You have been fighting for quite some time now, about 17 years now, is there any sign of slowing down

Evander:   I can definitely tell I’m not as young as I use to be, takes me a lot longer to recover between fights.  But all in all I feel like I got a couple more years left in me.

Norman: That’s good news then cause you’ve been putting on some exciting fights here lately.

Evander:  Yeah I try to go out there and push the pace and if my opponent is willing to do the same then you end up with a pretty damn good fight.

Norman: Well that’s about all the time we have today.I’d like to thank you for your time today, and good luck in your next fight.

Evander: Thanks a lot man
